Jimmy Dale is an average, middle-aged man until he joins an experiment that gives him super strength. After discovering his abilities, he joins a secret government organization called Olympus. Before long, other people with powers start revealing themselves across the Twin Cities. Some with powers like Jimmy, others with abilities he hardly understands. Minneapolis soon becomes ground zero for powered criminals as Olympus uncovers a dark plot from an organization working in the shadows.

This was a really good book and an easy read. I do wish that the main character had more abilities to solve how to confront the "villains." Maybe something like MacGyver would give it a fun twist and variety. Also, with the Greek mythology aspect, some background on what the name for that person meant/ description would've been helpful as being someone that is not well versed in Greek mythology, I had to look up scrap of the names to get the back story. I have mixed feelings on how the book ended, but overall it was really good.
