I didn't like this book because Operation twin trouble FAILED. Operation twin trouble was when Zack tried to stop his sisters from fighting. His sisters started fighting when Cathy's (Zacks sister) sister got to go on stage, but Cathy couldn't.

Hmm.
Well, I ran into a readers fog thanks to a book with quite possibly the single most misleading description ever. Before which, I had read quite a few of the books in this series. 11 to be exact. This is a planet-hopping story about a boy named Zack, his Nebulon[ic] best friend Drake Taylor, his twin sisters Cathy and Charlotte, and his parents Otto and Shelly.
The parents basically spoil their children.
This time, to a somewhat appropriately named planet called Mirer during a futuristic version of the game charades after Charlotte does an esoteric motion for Cathy to correctly guess that the answer is their favorite band TBD (Twin Boys Dancing). This gives them the idea to ask about planet-hopping to make it to the concert. Their Dad decides they can go without consulting their mom and they go. At the concert, Charlotte is chosen to come up on stage and dance with the allegedly dreamy boys. Cathy is bummed and it leads to trouble back home, hence 'Operation Twin Trouble.'
Oh, dear.
I'm pretty sure I've already said some of these things in a review about another book in this series, but it bears repeating: these kids are really spoiled, the parents are a bit thoughtless and then still wonder why things go awry, and these kids may grow up feeling entitled.
Whatever happened to the idea that it's rude to plan a trip in front of someone who can't go? Zack's best friend is in the room as the plans to go on a vacation without him are discussed and then he goes back home while this rich family goes off on their basically bragged-about vacation. The least they could have done if they're going to discuss it in front of Drake is invite him and seek permission from his parents. I also feel like this twin trouble wouldn't have happened if this dad hadn't agreed to a spur of the moment vacation. It's also interesting how the parents inexplicably got time off work for this...
At least karma got them in the end. The Twin Trouble could be considered karma, anyway...though daddy didn't have to deal with any of it. Mostly Zack and mom.
If I had to pick one character I resonated with, it would be Drake. Poor Drake, LoL. I will give this 2 stars.

Galaxy Zack Operation Twin Trouble was so much fun! Okay, here's what happens: Zack's sisters, Kathy and Charlotte, have a big fight, but I won't spoil why. Zack decides to help them get along better with "Operation Twin Trouble."

Zack tries super hard to make his sisters agree on things. He has this cool plan, but it doesn't really work out. I was really curious to know what would happen next. At the end of the story, something cool happens, but I won't tell you what. You gotta read it!

I really, really liked reading this book. It made me think about how when we have disagreements, it's better to talk calmly instead of yelling. My mom tells me the same thing. Zack tries to help his sisters and learns that talking nicely is important. It's like that with my friends and my little brother too.

If you want to read a book that's fun and teaches you about getting along with others, you should totally read "Galaxy Zack: Operation Twin Trouble." I think you'll like it, just like I did!

Zack's twin sisters are usually annoyingly similar. They literally finish each others' sentences all the time. But when the family goes to a concert by twin singers on a planet full of twins, only one of Zack's sisters gets to go on stage and the other doesn't. Suddenly the girls are having trouble getting along and Zack has to help figure out how to restore things between them.

It is fun to have Zack's sisters' take center stage for a change. I like how Zack is making an effort to help them remember how much they love each other, and the solution is somewhat comical. The planet full of twins and how they react to Zack not being a twin was an imaginative twist, and not a planet concept that comes up very much in scifi worlds. I liked how it will encourage kids to think about how their "normal" world can be "strange" to others. Another enjoyable adventure with Zack and his family.

Definitely a nice read for the kiddos. I enjoyed it, too. I honestly recommend this whole series. I've been liking every book so far.
