This is an account of a South African Combat Medic (Ops Medic) who served in the SA Medical Service (SAMS) between July 1984 and July 1986. SAMS’ members have rarely been in the spotlight, however, Combat Medic, brings the role of the Operational Combat Medic during the bush war to the fore. The story takes us through a two year period in which the author relates life as it was in the South African Military. For those of you who served in the Medical Services, this will be a nostalgic look at days long past and remembered with pride, but never forgotten. Whereas the original edition of this book (Ops Medic) had the complete SA Role of Honour, this version contains only the SAMS role of Honour prior to 1994. Audaces Servamus!
