This is an inspirational memoir about a matriarchal figure. The story details her journey to faith and relationships with her family, the death of a child, and living with and being blessed by her hilarious Down's syndrome son. It is funny, yet sad and inspirational.

I bought this because it was written by someone in Corydon who was a former Sunday School teacher of mine. I have also known her family for many years. It is a very inspirational story of how she and her family handled some of the curveballs that life threw at them, ranging from the death of a child to cancer to raising a son with Down's Syndrome. This is just the tip of it! Mrs. Kemp clearly states she would not have been able to handle all that life presented her had it not been for the guiding hand of God. It is a very fast and quick read (I am notoriously fast at reading - this took me around an hour). If you are looking for a fast inspirational read, I highly recommend this one!

This is my Mom's story of God's faithfulness through her lifetime of ups and downs. I highly recommend it. I just read it for the 4th or 5th time.

I am very proud of my grandmother, the author of this book, for reaching her goals. She completed her book and has touched the lives of many through it's pages.
If you want a book that is moving and is living proof of God's many blessings through life's many trials, then this is a book you must pick up.
