Leilani x Zyair

Well, I wanted a mushy, sappy love story after my last read. I most definitely got it. This insta-love, love at first story was super cute. I wanted no drama, no angst but that little situation with psycho Kelli was welcomed. I don't believe in or do fist fighting and most definitely NOT over a man, but someone should've tagged her aśs. Cause she has some nerve. I did look at Zy side ways in the beginning cause he was coming on sooo strong. Dude's talking about all the things he wanted to eat but none of them was on the menu 👀👀 haven't even gone on a first date yet but hey, if she like it, I love it 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Leilani and Zyair are an accurate depiction of love at first sight. When these two meet, everything else ceased to exist. Their instant attraction was believable and their chemistry was hot. The only problem is, Leilani and Zyair have pressed pause on relationships because these two hopeless romantics have been unlucky with love in the past. Now, Zyair is more than willing to break the deal he made with himself but, Leilani, not so much. She’s in love with the idea of being in love and her track record is trash so, she doesn’t necessarily trust her judgement at the moment. When Zyair shoots his shot, Leilani turns him down with the quickness. Cold world. When they meet again by happenstance, Leilani begrudgingly gives in to those pesky feelings she’s been trying hard to fight. Just when Leilani has finally accepted her feelings for Zyair, here comes Cheyanne, Kelandria, Keli, or whatever the hell her name is with all her BS tryin’ to start some drama. How you gon’ get caught cheating, have a whole fiancée, then get mad when Zyair won’t take you back?!!! Whew chile! The audacity! This couple was a joy to watch. I love how simplistic and organic Leilani and Zyair’s relationship was. It's refreshing to see a man who has no problem wearing his heart on his sleeve and showing his feelings for the woman he's falling in love with. There I Go Falling In Love Again was quick and sweet but, it packed a punch. Kay Shanee always manages to write such complicated but, relatable and sexy characters and I’m always here for it! But, ummmmmm what’s up with Emmet and Marshelle?!!! I feel like there’s a story that needs to be told and I would definitely read it. Just puttin’ it out there.

I enjoy Leilani and Zyair’s story. Love at 1st sight. They both had trouble with past relationships. Leilani had a history of falling hard fast. But they both knew there was a connection right away. Zyair had a crazy ex that wouldn’t leave him alone. The miscommunication took it down to 4 stars. Zyair should have been up front when he knew what was going on.

Leilani and Zyair!!! All the feels were felt reading about this instant love connection. They were both serial “falling in lovers” (yes I made that up). After their last failed relationships they swore off live to work on themselves but after an electrical issue caused their paths to cross l, they didn’t stand a chance! Aside from Cheyenne/Keli/ Kelindria’s crazy self this was an angst free story full of family, friendship and most importantly love! Kay just has a way of saying so much with so few words! I loved this little story between these two love birds!

Zyair and Lei!

I absolutely loved the pairing of Zyair and Lei. Their instant connection and chemistry set fire to the pages and it felt authentic. I was slightly annoyed by Zyair not being completely transparent even though I understand his hesitation. The problem with holding back the truth is that you give away your power to someone who does not deserve it. Keli or Cheyanne was trash. Grateful that love prevailed. This author delivered again.

I Love how organically Zy & Lani met….their relationship really did develop quickly, but it was organic…I did think he should’ve told her about Cheyenne, but men really do think differently than women and he thought he was doing what was best for them….However, they quickly got it together for their HEA.

Love at First...

I enjoyed Leilani and Zyair story.

Although I get why he did it, I was hoping Zyair would come clean about his ex, Cheyenne aka Kelendria aka Keli😒. I'm glad it all came to a head, yet it could've been a lot smoother.

I love how persistent Zyair was with Leilani. He could've hit it and quit it, yet he truly saw more for them. He was calm, fun and loving. I really liked him.

Leilani was very high strung when she didn't have to be. I was hoping she'd loosen up after her "no dating" hiatus, yet it only seemed to amp up her nerves. I do like how she at least gave Zyair a chance. They were good together and I'd love more on their story.

This was another good read in this series. On to the next.

This book was really good. I love how similar Zyair and Lei were. Quick to fall in love with the wrong person. Until they met their match in each other. This story was romance at its finest and no one does it better than this author.

Yeah this one made too much sense, especially if you love love but are currently protecting your peace. Leilani and Zyair were both standing in very real, very relatable places.

Leilani was tired. Not tired like ugh dating is annoying but tired like I cannot survive another wrong choice. That kind of tired makes you lace up your track shoes before anything even goes left. Her fear wasn’t drama it was self preservation. She felt the pull and still tried to outrun it which honestly tracks for anyone who’s been burned back to back.

Zyair I’m with you. I understood him completely. He wasn’t being deceptive he was being intentional. If he’d led with the details about Cheyenne immediately, Leilani would’ve been gone before he could have draped the jacket over her shoulders. He wasn’t trying to manipulate the moment, he just wanted a fair shot.

This was true love at first sight energy but with grown fear layered on top. Zyair was ready to lean in because he recognized his future when they locked eyes, stumbled over words and forgot how language worked. That wasn’t coincidence, that was electricity.
Leilani felt it just as strongly but fear had the loudest voice in the room. The tension wasn’t about desire it was about timing and trust.

Soft, frustrating and painfully real. Sometimes the heart knows before the mind is brave enough to catch up.

Whew.. Leilani and Zyair’s story was hot, passionate, sweet, romantic and a touch messy. What happens when two people who are trying to refrain from relationships collide and can’t seem to stay away from each other? Leilani really tried her best to stay away but Zyair wasn’t having it. It isn’t often we get a love story where the male character is in love with love , and I loved that about Zyair. Kay alway manages to write such complicated, realistic, freaky couples and I’m here for it!!

Leilani and Zyair seemed to fall in love at first sight. Their connection upon first meeting was too cute. They were both just stuck when they saw each other. Their connection was cute and the love was genuine. They experienced a little drama but they overcame it. I can definitely relate to Leilani’s character.

When you know you just know....

I have to admit this novella was mild compared to other Kay Shanee's masterpieces but still worth every word read. Mrs. Shanee presented just enough drama to keep your attention and made you want to hand out some "act right." Cheyenne or Kelandria whatever her name was, she was doing entirely too much. She was in her own situationship but tried to cause unnecessary stress between Zyair and Leilani.

Zyair and Leilani was most definitely a love at first sight relationship. Leilani gave Zyair the tingles he was seeking from his "one." Leilani finally found a man that truly loved all of her. He also got the approval of her family and friends. I love how attentive and accomodating Zyair was to Leilani. Zyair was also a man of his word so he followed up by locking down Leilani. The saying when you know you just know holds true for Zyair and Leilani.

Mrs. Shanee, I'm looking forward to any upcoming releases this year. The infamous question is Ray and Taylor going to get to share their story? I think it's more to what's brewing between them than they portrayed. I am low-key wondering if Ray had the same revelation about Taylor as Zyair when he meet Leilani. It would also be great to get an update on Leilani and Zyair as well. This is a magnificent read, grab your copy.

These "the moods of love" series have been hitting differently. Each author has their own unique way of presenting each love story. I am looking forward and hoping more books are coming.

Thirty Days Til’ Forever

I need more, more, more of Leilani & Zyair‼️…Zyair you’re the man!..a clear & concise challenge “you’re gonna be my wife”. Just thirty days til’ forever!…”speak those things as though they are so” said prophet Zyair🤣😂🤭‼️..”There I Go Falling in Love Again: The Moods of Love” was an excellent read. Even in the beginning phases of uncertainty between Lei & Zy there was a chemistry! This book had great character & plot development. Thereafter, two (maybe three) of my favorite moments of this book: “truth or dare” & Taylor and Patience ready defend Lani against Cheyenne if necessary. …Note: The audacity of Cheyenne’s angry, bitter & vindictiveness towards Zyair (yeah, he did exposed her dirty secret to the fiancée 🤣😂🤣), …lesson learned: know how to creep before creepin’ 🤷🏾‍♀️! Nonetheless, ”There I Go Falling in Love Again: The Moods of Love” was an excellent read 🥰👏🏿👏🏾👏🏽💐‼️

Whew, Leilani was exhausting with her rules, her running and the mile high walls, she surrounded herself with! But, none of that mattered to Zyair! He burst into her life, making himself known and taking her heart with him! Zyair was a man who knew what he felt, and what he wanted with Leilani, and wouldn't settle for anything less! However, I was disappointed in him for allowing Lei to be blindsided in that manner! But, the quickly rebounded and were ready for love in every capacity! Can I say I loved Lei's brother Emmet? He was the most understanding brother ever, but that love life of his! Hmmmm....... would love to know more about him. Great read! 👍👍👍

Love love

This was a beautiful depiction of the beginning of love and some of the challenges. It was really refreshing to see a man show his true feelings and back it up with action. I love love and just seeing it blossom between Zyair and Leilani was exciting. I understood how and why both Zyair and Leilani wanted to be in relationships and also why Leilani was hesitant, the author painted a great back story and weaved it throughout the book. The scene between Leilani and Cheyenne, Cheyenne lucky, like girl who send for you.

Love Is Such A Special Situation!

Kay, thanks for this sweet read. What I loved was how much Zyair showed his emotions. Usually its the woman but Zyair shows men are open and uses their hearts instead of their heads often times. Leilani chose her lifestyle and it never worked when a chance encounter happens neither party understands. It was fun to see rolls being reversed Leilani acted like a guy with not showing her true feelings until she couldn't. Even when bumps came along they handled it in a great fashion. Good read🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Ooooo Weeeeee Kay Shanee knows how to hook me into a book. I loved how Zyair and Leilani met and getting to learn about them separately before we saw them together. This was definitely a couple that was in love with love while still trying to form walls that were not used in the past. This author gave us a wonderful storyline with great players even the exes were hilarious because the connections were everything! I’m still digging into Kay Shanee’s catalogue but every book I read I love.

This was a good love story that could not do reading. It was predictable but excellently written. I loved how the lovers were do similar and how they were both reading a break get ended up together with the same desire to find their one and forever. I love that the author did not prolong the story between Zyair and KeiLani. I believe that, when it's your time for love, there will be no particular timeframe to measure it.
