READ THIS BOOK. Right now! This book is such an amazing page-turner, I finished it in a day. I'm a huge book nerd and I read quite often, however, I don't stumble upon books like this frequently. It has several plot twists and had me hooked from the very beginning. If you're thinking about reading this book, do it!

I loved the 'consequence of Audrey!' It was a great book and I would read it over and over again! 5 stars! Definitely would recommend it! The movie is going to be wonderful, and if Aurora Stenulson writes another book, I'll sure read it!

Cleanliness: ◎◎◎◎◎

I wanted to start this off by saying thank you to @aurorastenulson for writing such a great book. I was sent this book a while back when I gave an ARC review for her most recent release “Your Drowning Heart”.

I finally got a chance to read this book, which is the authors first release. I absolutely loved it.

This book is book scratched and itch in my brain that I didn’t even know was there. The author has a degree in Psychology and she uses her knowledge on the topic to write amazing books. It might my my bias because I too have a degree in psychology, but I think she does a great job at weaving mental health topic into her books and creating amazing stories.

This particular book deals with 18 year old June. She has just escaped a very abusive household and is dealing with the trauma that resulted from her experience. Throughout the book, she is hanging out with this new friend Audrey. Slowly as the book unravels, June realizes that Audrey isn’t who she seems she is. June is getting into trouble and misbehaving under the influence of Audrey and their friendship is beginning to affect June’s other relationships.

Everyone is seeing Junes odd behavior and wondering what I going on. She’s having crazy mood swings, spell of forgetfulness, and everyone can tell it all started after she met Audrey.

I loved this book. I can’t say it enough. It deals with one specific abnormal psychology disorder that I live on. It is my favorite disorder (I know that sounds strange, but I promise it’s not 😂). I ate this book up.

Liam was my favorite character. He was everything to me. So understanding. So accommodating. He is what every girl who has gone through any type of trauma deserves in a boyfriend

The tears I shed while reading this book. I cried so much. The themes of mental health, trauma, father-daughter relationships, and coping mechanisms hit me in my core. It was all so great.

Cleanliness: this book was 10/10 with cleanliness. There were Christian themes. The romance was very PG. it was cute and made me giggle. it was so comforting to read.

I highly recommend this book. I think it is worth it. 10/10

This book was a super quick read, and I finished it in 1 ½ days. There was more suspense in here than I thought as this book was recommended to me by a friend who got it from her #
Romance Reveal Bookbox . I guessed the twist before it happened, right before the half way point, which is part of the reason for 3 stars. I would have liked to read more about June and Liam, or more from Liams perspective, as he was my favorite character and the author doesn't really discuss how they met or his back story.

*Trigger warning* - this book does have mentions of drug addition and assult/abuse.

I rate this 3 🌟!

I received this book in my Romance Reveal book box so I was expecting some mushy romance.. not only did I not get that but what I did get was better than I could have expected!! I read this in one sitting and could not put it down. This book touches on so many things. Love, family, substance abuse, mental health, trauma and abuse and much more all while keeping you wondering what the hell is going on! Very well written, I will definitely be looking to see what this author does next.

This is my second book by Aurora Stenulson and I'm looking forward to my third.

The main character June is a young girl who lived through so much and wanted to only better herself.

I felt so proud of June, moving on from the past and making friends with Liam and Audrey.

There's a point in this story that I out loud said " what the heck" then re-read that section, twice. After that the book blew my mind.

Not bad. I figured out the twist early in the book but the story was put together nicely at the end.
