In part one of the Straight Outta Dade County Series, we were introduced to Alecia Jackson and Montana King. Alecia put up one heck of a fight against Montana, but after one romantic night in Mexico, he was able to knock down her walls, and the two of them decide to give this relationship thing a try. Unfortunately, just as quickly as it started, it’s already on the path to ending.
What does Alecia do when her brother is convinced that her boyfriend, Montana, was involved in the robbery and shooting that left him paralyzed five years ago? Does she automatically side with her brother, just because he’s blood, or does she choose to believe her man? The pressure is on, and it’s time for Alecia to make a decision. She must choose quickly because guns have been drawn. Her decision will cause problems regardless of where she lands, and a relationship may be broken that can’t be mended.

Alecia and Montana are hands down my favorite couple penned by Diamond! I am OBSESSED with them and they are honestly the only reason I doubled back to read this series!
Whew book two is full of BAN’s!! Wayne, Damien and Hafiz are at the top of the BAN list! Count your mf days!!!! Wayne I want to see you get it in the WORST way!!
Still loving the updates on the Williams men! They’ve really matured! I love me some Teddy and Celine and can’t wait to see how everything comes together in book 3!

Montana against the world
Chile when I tell you I am tiiiied, they done worn me out dragging this beef on. I don't even know how Montana ain't crazy paranoid at this point, cuz he got every snake in Florida after his azz.
Montana and Alecia are just so good together🥰❤️💕.He loves her dirty drawls and I love that for her. It's nice to see a woman find her "one" later in life and he ain't playing about her at all. He going all in not only catering to her needs, but listening to her, eagerly ready to use his spending hand, and dropping off 2-3 orgasms daily. I mean what ELSE does a woman need. I swear Montana was a little too loyal too me though. Wayne's snake azz deserved 0 passes, he was constantly being disrespectful, showing his azz about Teddy, missing meetings and its "allowed" cuz he's yo friend. That situation shouldn't have even been allowed to escalate😒. I'm ready for that situation to be wrapped up. Nadia should've got dealt with too. Alecia is still that gwirl. I can feel the goodness of her heart through the pages. She's hard on the outside but sweet as pie for the ones she loves and I loved the way she showed up for Kelsey and her babies.
Sage and Taliban are my faves❤️. I love to see them on the page flourishing and doing well. I love how Sage don't play about Alecia and the girlies all stick by each other through thick and thin.
Whew there were too many men acting like little bi$%hes in this story. Starting with King Bi$#ch Orion. The gall of this ninja was too much for me. I felt the venom Kelsey spit at him and he deserves all the smoke. Wayne...Bi$#h number two like I said i'm sick of this jealous snake azz. He stay gossiping like a teenage girl. Idk what Montana saw in him cuz he been trash through every book. Damian...Bi#%h number three why are you still even in the story go find some business. This little obsession isn't even warranted.
I feel like at times some of the story lines were page fillers. Tremaine and his situation felt misplaced in this story. Then random azz Willow, I don't even want to read about her like at all. Feels pointless. It's like she was fighting to keep some of these characters relevant when I just don't think we needed them at all. Definitely love the main characters though and am eager to see how everything wraps up for Montana and Alecia.

Alecia and Montana are still so cute. I love the way they adore each other. This book had so many snakes in it - I don’t even know where to start.
Orion. The demon in a wheelchair. He made me so mad in this book. I’m hoping Kelsey gets a healthy love interest in the next book. She’s been going through hell.
Wayne. Disappointed in his snake behavior but when you live that life - I guess you have to really not trust anyone.
Damian. Just..yuck. I can’t stand a bitter and jealous man.
Oh we have to give it up for Maniyah. I love her for Tremaine!

I love all the drama, and I'm so ready for the next read.

I’m in love with this author’s writing style. I love how all her heroines are successful women not waiting on a man to save them. With that being said Alecia and Montana are a for sure power couple. I love e everything about them. Wayne is a buster and he needs to get his karma ASAP!! I need to Kelsey to run nor walk from Orion.

Wayne is acting like a jealous, bitter, of Montana and Teddy. He pulled the ultimate bixx move. Told Zaire Montana killed his dad, he's going to let Zaire do his dirty work. I don't know if Montana told Wayne or he was there when killed Zaire dad. Now he's going try to use that against Montana. It's partly Montana fault anyway. Celine is too trusting. Hafiz been in prison for six years. First visit he ask Teddy to put him on. That is very disrespectful. Teddy knows Hafiz wants Celine especially coming home from a six year bid. Alecia is trying to worn Willow about her friends. She doesn't want to represent her or any of her friends in court. Kelsey dog walk Devisha. Orion is a fool taking her word when she said she was pregnant. That could be anyone's baby. Orion is a straight up a$$. I pray Kelsey don't go back to him. Just send your kids with their uncle. Alecia got to get their dad out of prison. Stefon is going to get his stupid a$$ killed. Damian might as well let Tamiya go. He cares for her, but she's a place holder for Alecia who not coming back. Alecia and Montana has been thru ups and downs they are engage and expecting a baby. Will Montana be able to tie up the loose ends in the streets and be happy with Alecia and his child. Will Orion the older brother get his family back after the hurt and betrayal he has caused his wife Kelsey. Will Tedman Teddy Williams put his past struggles to rest and get past the guilty he feels over his younger brother who committed suicide. Will Wayne finally get his karma back for his jealousy and betrayal he has caused Montana and Dace. Will Zarie try and kill Montana after learning the truth about Montana killing his father. Will Alecia father come home after being in prison for 25 years. Will Damien get his revenge on Montana so he can get Alecia back. So many unanswered questions. It has been a wild ride I hope the couples come out on top.

Orion I’m going to need him to stand on his betrayal & take that L. I get that they married but marriage should have kept him from cheating. Making a baby it’s no way they can come back from that. The verbal abuse was beyond enough and she stayed. I do not think she should stay with a baby being involved she put her whole life on hold. She just need to boss up. Let Orion want and let her be happy for him but like she said let her be happy and watch another guy treat her like he couldn’t!

Listennnn the plot thickens okay. So at this point we don’t need a POV from tremaine. Him & Maniyah really ain’t got nun interesting going on. Wayne is grimy as heck & deserve everything Montana got for him but for him to try to use Zaire to off Montana is beyond foul. I’m glad Alecia finally checked willow cause sis doing too much but at the same time I understand why she insecure. Shoutout to teddy for taking the step to see a therapist & also making sure that Celine understands that he wants to get himself together mentally before taking the next step with her. Now Orion he can go & burn in that place that’s super hot cause why sir?! Now you boo boo crying & want your family back sir move around. I hope Kelsey get her lick back in the best way. Now if big Efrem don’t get out in the next book I know something.

The loyalty that Alecia shows Kelsey is the true definition of a best friend. The no judgement zone with the characters in this book have you wishing you had the same kind of relationship with your friends and family. Men like Orion always realizes too late with their true ride or die. No one should measure the attention of someone else is the reason for their happiness. Happiness starts from within, and can be enhanced by someone but it initially starts within yourself. So I have learned in life to always be your biggest cheerleader, and always be gentle and kind to yourselves first and the truest will follow

Diamond D. Johnson doesn’t miss. There isn’t a single thing that I’ve read by this author that didn’t capture my mind and pull me in within the first page. Her talent is undeniable and she deserves all the love and recognition that she receives and then some. I love this series and I’m hating that it’s coming to a close. I’ve become so in love with this family (these characters) I’m so excited about everyone’s futures, both the good and bad of them. I cannot wait to see where she takes us next on this journey of dem boys from da bottom.

Freaking off the chain
When I say I love everything about Dem Boyz, Montana and Alecia; I love everything. This book 2 had so many shockers. I hope book 3 continue to show how strong the live Montana and Alecia have for each other that no one can tear through. I hope Zaire doesn't do anything stupid and I hope Wayne dies in the first chapter with his snake self. I hate Orion did that to Kelsey but baby they couls start over when be starts to walk. Get rid of Devisha baby it's not needed. Can't wait for book 3.

Man oh Man!!!!
This book gave me all the feels!!! Montana is bae and I love how strong Alecia is and that Montana doesn’t try to diminish her strength. Orion is a straight asshole but somehow I feel sorry for him and want he and Kelsey to work even though I know he doesn’t deserve it. Wayne needs to be silenced permanently for being disloyal. Man, the twists and turns in this series has me ready for more! I can’t wait for part 3!

This series is everything! I love the up dates on the characters from Dem Boyz from the bottom. I still tear up when they mention Tahiid! I still can't get over that loss & we on to another whole series! Looking forward to Montana & Alecia's happy ending. Wow!
And it just keeps getting better. First of all, this story flowed very well, was interesting and you could see the character development throughout. I am so pulling for Montana and Alecia’s relationship and definitely hope that she can get her father out. Wayne, Orien and Damien need to get a life or be taken out. They really get on my nerves. I can’t wait to see what book three brings.

Diamond, each installment get better and better. Wayne need to GO along with Damian! Love, loyalty & family comes to mind when reading this 2 nd book! Orion is so mean spirited and disrespectful, I'm quite please that Kelsey is DONE with him! I love Montana & Alecia, I look forward to seeing Teddy & Celine grow more in their relationship! Onto the finale, hoping everyone that deserve to get a happily ever after do so and all others can kick rocks!

That undercover should have just left Montana alone it's bout to be bye bye to him to.....I hope Zaire don't lose his life trying to get at Montana... Don't like Hafiz.... Excellent read!
Wow so much was going on in this book! Betrayal of life long friends, so much deceit with Kelsey and Orion! New drama popping up, it was a lot! Alecia and Montana seem to be headed to happily ever after. There is so much more to sort through! Looking forward to #3! There are some grammatical errors in this book that need to be corrected but a great storyline!

You did that, I can’t wait for the next book to come out because baby I want to know what happened. I hope that Alecia can get her father home. I hope that Montana can kill Wayne because I’m sick of him I couldn’t believe that he to Zaire that though he was most definitely wrong. I hope that Montana and Alecia can have a healthy marriage.
