I just realized that I've almost finished my stash of my Heather Graham books!!! It's such a despair. I can't believe it.
This one was not my typical H.G. go-to books but what a really nice read. As usual, the angst was ever present between the Hero and heroine. Beautiful, gorgeous heroine was thrust 'accidentally / or not - you decide' into her ex-husband's boat. Errr, maybe not an ex husband as they both soon found out. They were still very much married to each other - even after all these three years. I loved their banters, their suspicions, their hurt and their chemistry. The only thing I would loved to see more was a bit more groveling by the Hero - when he mistrusted her once again. I would liked to see him apologize a wee bit more.
All in all, a rather short story for a H.G. book (about 200 pages) but a thoroughly pleasant one. Loved it.
Roc Trellyn is not terribly surprised to discover that the woman his crew hauled up in nets, is his not-so-ex wife Melinda. Melinda knows that she made a mistake three years ago, resulting in Roc walking out of her life, but she is determined to try and make it right, and that means helping the salvage crew find their sunken treasure ship…
A fun, quick read, this is one of Graham’s non-paranormal romances. It’s a second chance romance, featuring a hero who can be a bit of a jerk, and a heroine who has trouble admitting when she is wrong. They’re both flawed, but both destined for each other. It’s an enjoyable romance, even if Roc did annoy me at times, the ending was mostly satisfying (even if my questions about those three years were never answered!). This is a quick read tust fans of the author, and romance fans might well enjoy.
