While life seems hell-bent on keeping them apart, Andrea decides to fight for the man she loves. She is willing to do everything in her power to get Lex out of the hellish nightmare he's in.
As much as he wants to keep her safe from his troubles, she refuses to stay idle as his state deteriorates. Their disagreements put their relationship to the test, threatening to shatter the weakened bond that ties them.
When all of her battles fail, Andy resorts to a much more dangerous approach. To her dismay, it unleashes a whole new kind of danger upon them. A danger they can't ignore when it comes knocking at their doorstep.
On the run for the sake of their lives, they learn to trust and forgive each other. Regardless of how arduous it becomes, one thing is for certain: they are in this together and never letting go.
Loving each other will never be a mistake, but it might become their doom.
This book made me want to rip my hair out of my scalp—in a good way ❤️
The cliffhanger from the last book (the 2nd in the series) is explained and further developed.
I’m not gonna go into much details not to spoil anything.
But the first book, which was a cute workplace slow-burn romance turned into iRobot / csi / fbi type of shit 😂😂
This book keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
You’ll get frustrated at Andy some times, and sometimes it’s directed towards Lex. It will make your heart ache for Andy and for Lex. It will make you nervous. And of course it will make you honey as fuck.
This just shows you how the author (Darla) can get such emotions out of you while reading just by using words.
This book series worthy of a movie/tv-show adaptation.
I had the pleasure of helping Darla with editing the first book and I’m really grateful for that experience. Darla is an amazing human being who really put so much thought and effort into writing these books and developing the characters, and you can tell by reading the books and interacting with her on her Discord server.
Lex and Andy will forever be one of my top three favorite book couples and they’ll always have a special spot in my heart. Can’t wait to reread them for the rest of my life 🥰
And for the final book: no longer a cute, steamy romance, with funny nerds and a hot boss. Suddenly there's danger and crime, problems one would have never thought of while reading the first book.
How could I not give this masterpiece 5 stars as well.
The Series of Lines reaches an entire new level. Sacrifices have to be made, their relationship comes to the ultimate test(s).
The book in three words: Spice, danger, justice.
New characters get introduced, some super loveable while other are purely evil.
The book takes turn after turn, twist after twist. When you think danger is finally overcome, a new problem surfaces or reveals itself to be much darker and complicated than initially thought. As Lex and Andrea face the ultimate challenge their bond grows stronger than ever. The suspense in this book was incredible and I was anxious the whole time.
One of my absolute favourite characters is Andrea's grandma, she is just the greatest badass.
I think this series is now my favourite on wattpad and I can totally see it being published as a physical book.
The Series of Lines is beautifully complex and I am absolutely in love.
If you haven't read the books yet, you should totally do so now.
This is definitely the fastest paced out of the trilogy! Dark, heavy, cute, sexy and adrenaline pumping all in one 👌🏻
SPOILERS BELOW!!!!
While our main guy is stuck in jail for cyber security breach, we see the making of the next one (or three 👀.) And then as soon as things are looking up, we get murder attempts, broken relationships, lies, fleeing the country and bringing down a bunch of shitty people. AND we also get top notch smut as always with Darla 👏🏻
This book has it all, though I do wish we got more time in Canada, I miss the adorable old couple already.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Can't really rate it, as I've only read the steamy parts and the ending. I'm sure it's written well, but the way the story went in this part is just not my thing.
