This volume, and the whiplash in tone in comparison to the first, makes you think ah, if the series can keep this up then the first book won’t have been a waste of time.

とても良い青春ラブコメでした！前回は凄いですけど、今回は二倍ぐらいに面白いです！キャラやプロットや展開は素敵です。個人的に、朔くんと悠月さんが大好きです。外見的に、朔くんはおれさまのキャラですけど、中でただの聖人のキャラです。誰でも助けが欲しいなら、彼は必ずに全力を尽くします。彼とって、最後にカッコいい「ヒーロー」になる為です。

朔くんみたいに、悠月さんはまた不思議なキャラです。普段は彼女は涼しい美人ですので、あまり感情的人じゃないです。ですので、皆とって、悠月さんは「理想」の女は過言ではないです。然し、中で普通女の子ですので、この矛盾は今回のハイライトです。理想はただ理想です。裏で努力すれば、上手くに弱点を隠して出来ます。けど、彼女のストーカーさんやクラスメイト達はこの努力を知らないので本当の悠月さんを知らないです。

このテーマはとても大好きので、最初から最後まで楽しみました！興味があれば、とてもお薦めます！

Since Kenta Yamazaki's case has been solved, Saku has returned back to his normal everyday life. However, a new problem has emerged. This time it's not about a stranger, but Saku's group member, Yuzuki Nanase. For a while, they have been friends, but they aren't exactly that close. However, despite that, Yuzuki confessed to Saku one day. That being said, it wasn't out of love, but for her own protection. A few months ago, Yuzuki has felt a certain presence behind her. On top of that, she also lost her personal belongings at times as well. Yes, it might be a "stalker," so Yuzuki wanted Saku to become her boyfriend. As her friend, Saku accepted, but will this plan really solve everything? Furthermore, while they are fake lovers, will they, perhaps, truly fall in love with each other in the end?

This was a great youth love comedy! The last time was amazing, but this time it's two times more interesting. The characters, the plot, and the developments are all wonderful. Personally, I love Saku and Yuzuki quite a bit. On the outside, Saku is a very arrogant character, but he's very saint-like in the inside. If anyone asks for help, he will definitely exert all of his efforts to do so. To him, it's because he wants to become a cool "hero" in the end.

Like Saku, Yuzuki is also a mysterious character. Normally, she's a very cool beauty, so she's not a very emotional person. Because of that, it's no exaggeration to say that she's the "ideal" female according to everyone. However, on the inside, she is a normal girl, so this contradiction is the highlight this time around. Ideals are just ideals. If you work hard behind the scenes, one can cover up their weaknesses very well. But, her stalker and her classmates don't know about this, so they really don't know the true Yuzuki.

I love this theme quite a lot, so I enjoyed it from beginning to end! If you are interested, I highly recommend this!

The first book was definitely one of the most unique first volumes and introductions to any harem romcom light novel/manga I've ever read. This book however(and I assume future entries) follows a more traditional plot structure for harem romcoms where one of the harem members has an issue and that leads to the main character helping them as the central plot and gives a reason as to why said character has an increase in character interactions compared to the other harem characters.

The main character is more likeable than how he was in the first book. I wouldn't say I like him as an individual but unlike the first book I definitely didn't roll my eyes back or was filled with the desire to strangle him every so often as I read it. He's still a little too perfect to be really interesting but he makes up for it for by at least being unique compared to other high school harem romcom protagonists.

The main heroine of this volume was quite likeable and had pretty good chemistry with main character. The fanservice and general cutesy scenes with heroines from the last book was quite underwhelming and bland for a harem romcom as popular as this one but overall I found the cutesy scenes with the heroines in this volume to be way more charming in various regards.

Slight spoilers for this next part

How the antagonists were handled was fine even if it was a bit cheesy. The way the protagonist forced the main heroine to confront her trauma was so stupid in so many different ways. I have to commend for how it was seemingly gonna end with the exact same plot structure as the first book but expertly subverted my expectations and delivered an ending that was pretty satisfying. Even though the plot twist was pretty obvious at first and in retrospect it surprisingly worked really well. It used my low expectations of the story just redoing the first book really well. Overall pretty much an improvement of the first book in many ways and definitely an enjoyable read.

Volume kedua berfokus pada konflik yang dialami okeh Yuzuki Nanase. Disaat diriku membaca volume ini, aku merasa sedang menikmati kisahku sendiri. Aku mengira Yuzuki Nanase cocok menjadi My Waifu.
