Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.
I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.
Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.
You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.
Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.
Book 4 in the Faux Love series and it was another great read. Love the fake romance trope. Always a favorite and Weston does them so good. Loved Griffin and Kristen. Griffin needs a fiancé to go to Greece with him for business and when he gets ahold of the agency, the girl he picks is one he is already familiar with. She is his wife that he married after one drunken night in Vegas. Everything is going good in Greece until his grandma finds out that their relationship isn’t real or is it. Loved watching them take their fake relationship and turn it into something much more real. Another hit from Weston and I can’t wait to read what he has coming next. Highly recommend this and the entire series. You won’t be disappointed.
Oh boy!! Weston Parker has surpassed himself with this book. This is a real page turner that made me laugh out loud. I mean, what man would marry a woman in Las Vegas after meeting her on the dance floor? We've all seen Dirty Dancing but this leads to a marriage that neither can really remember and the next day begins the annulment process. Griffin is of Greek decent and his grandmother, whom he loves dearly, is wanting him to be married before she will let him become CEO of the family business. But he hasn't got time to date never mind marry so he 'thinks' on his feet and decides to hire an escort for two weeks with the family in Greece. Kristen is having trouble with his business with her best friend and to save the business she decides to become an escort, no s@x !, and imagine her surprise when she finds out that the man who is hiring her is none other than the man she married in a drunken night out in Vegas. They married as the chemistry between them was scorching and it hasn't diminished over the months apart. Whatever could possibly happen between them in Greece?? This is one fun read that you won't want to put down. This is the fourth book in the series and I'm looking forward for more. I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most definitely recommended.
Kristen and Griffen will grab your heart and take you on an international adventure. Their chemistry was off the charts but their timing was off. A spur of the moment marriage in Vegas and an annulment within the same week. Their stars were destined to cross and that was evident when they got matched together at a dating site. A fake engagement, a trip to Greece, a luxury hotel design. a grandmother from hell and more than you can imagine. This book will grab your attention right at the beginning and keep it until the end. You'll find yourself pulling for Kristen and Griffin. Guaranteed to set your kindle on fire. No cliffhanger, no cheating and a great HEA. I read an advance copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.
How do you have a quick Vegas marriage and then a fake engagement to the same woman? “Fake It For Real” is the entertaining story by Weston Parker that makes it all make sense. It’s a story filled with wonderful characters, nonstop action, and more emotion than you might expect.
Griffin is the cherished son of a fantastically wealthy family. He’s made his own fortune, wanting to prove his own worth in the world. Although he’s grown up with every privilege, he’s a good and responsible person – he doesn’t act like a spoiled, overindulged and shallow man-baby. Kristen is used to figuring things out on her own. She’s a talented designer, and a very hard worker. Griffin is celebrating a successful business deal, and Kristen is celebrating her best friend’s upcoming wedding, so both happen to be in Vegas at the same time. They end up having a wild time together … and sharing his hotel suite after a visit to a Wedding Chapel. Months later, Griffin has to go to Greece for family reasons and he needs a woman by his side to help demonstrate that he’s a serious man planning to get married and settle down. He decides to hire a professional, and for complicated reasons, that turns out to be Kristen. It gets more complex from there when Griffin’s family becomes increasingly involved.
This is one of those stories that draws you in right from the beginning and keeps you involved till the last paragraph. I’ve been careful not to give you any spoilers, because this story twists and turns in unexpected ways that you should experience for yourself. Griffin and Kristen are extremely likable characters. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. Both the dialogue and descriptions of the settings are nicely done; you feel like a fly on the wall watching the events unfold. There’s an unexpected ‘villain’ whose behavior is despicable. There are some good secondary characters, particularly Kristen’s best friend Josie and Griffin’s cousin Nicholas. I thought the ending was terrific, although it was sad to say goodbye to the characters – and that itself is another indicator of how much I enjoyed the book.
Griffin and Kristen's Story Doesn't End in Vegas🔥⭐⭐⭐🔥
I love a story that gives you all the feels and Griffin and Kristen definitely fit that bill. I can't even say their meeting was accidental because of the instant connection and chemistry... but when Kristen wakes up in Vegas married to a stranger while celebrating her best friends upcoming wedding, she might disagree. Griffin is like Greek royalty in has homeland but he's made his own fortune flipping hotels. After his unexpected annulment he is now faced with his grandfather's passing and the eventual control of the families business. Hiring a fake fiance to prove he's settled to his grandmother, Yaya, is foremost. Hiring his accidental ex wife could prove challenging though. Kristen needs money to keep the interior design company afloat since her best friend and partner is on bed rest during her pregnancy...hence Faux dating agency. What happens when their night in Vegas is still alive in their memories and Kristen proves her worth as a designer?? What happens when the truth of their deception is out of the bag... except it's no longer fake?? How can you fall for your ex all over again?? Get your copy of this awesome story and curl up with your favorite drink and enjoy!!! A MUST READ!!! Great characters, his/her POV, no cheating, no cliffhanger and an excellent HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and happily purchased a copy for my favorites collection. Looking forward go the next story.
Man oh Man...being an escorts (Did I tell you this was my first ever job being an escort) who gets into these situations...that were not supposed to be sex involved!!! But hell when they look like my ex-husband who I was married to for 2 days and never saw before, who could resist.
I did not know he was what I would call a Greek God...but man he was pretty close to one. I did not know who he was when we met in Vegas, we both drank waaay too much and ended up getting married. The next morning when I realized it...I ran. Hi my name is Kristen...and that is just the start of this wonderful story.
Dam it!!! I need to satisfy my grandmother that I am not a playboy, which I am not!!! I am a hard working guys who just hasn't found that one special person. Or maybe it was the one I married and when I woke up the next day...puff she was done. OK a lot of alcohol was involved, but really, she just left. Hi my name is Griffin.
So what do you do when you need to fake an engagement? You go to a high end escort office, you pick a lady out of a book and you have yourself a fiancé. But why does she seem so familiar?
I walked into the office of Faux Escort to get my first job...and there he was? I have not seen him in months. What was he doing there? He was my husband for a nano second, months ago.
OK, you have to read what happens. It is funny, and enjoyable. You will just love all the characters as you get to know them.
Griffin and Kristen are in Vegas for different reasons. She's there for a Bridal Shower. He's there for a business meeting. He sees her on the dance floor and can't keep his eyes off her. She isn't buying his lines, but goes back to his room anyway. Of course, they have the best sex of their life. It's what happens after that makes this story so different. They wake up married. She gets spooked, and runs away. Never to see him again.
Or at least she thought that.
Her business is not doing too well. so she joins the Faux service. This way she can make a little money to keep her business afloat. Griffin needs a "fake" fiance and picks her picture out of the women available. He has a look, it seems. He doesn't recognize her until they are right in front of each other. They pick up where they left off in Vegas.
The family in Greece have a different subplot. Don't mess with Yaya.
These Faux Love stories are wonderful to read. Weston has a great flare for these stories!
Kristen and Griffen will steal your heart. When they meet in Vegas and have a wild night ending with getting drunk married these two are in for a wild ride. Griffen is a successful man and is celebrating a win in business, with this comes the need for a date to Greece. When he goes to the dating service the girl he’s connected with is familiar but he can’t pinpoint it at first. He may have faked it in the beginning but falling for Kristen is all to real and he’s determined to make her his. Kristen is a successful designer but is in desperate need of money. After a wild trip to Vegas and getting drunk married she turns to a dating service and is reconnect with Griffen. He takes her to Greece where their secret is revealed by his grandmother and all hell breaks loose. Kristen is having a difficult time determining if Griffen is faking it for real or if it’s for real for real. Weston has done it again with bringing all the romance and comedy and spicy characters. This book was an absolute must read.
I am voluntarily leaving this review. This was such a great story! I loved how the characters had an actual history before the hired “fake” part came. I loved their banter and their personalities. I also loved the supporting characters.
Kristen has longed for a family but has decided that wasn’t in the cards for anymore. Griffin never expected to settle down and instead let rumors that weren’t all true flow and put all his efforts into his business. One drunken night and a chance encounter turned both of their lives upside down. Then months later, fate stepped in and brought them back together. Then things started to change from a professional standpoint to a personal standpoint. Now they have to navigate through the turmoil to get back to each other.
Weston Parker has yet to disappoint me with a book. I love his writing style and the curveballs he throws are not over done. I can’t wait to see what else he has in store for us.
Accidental Vegas Marriage Kristen is in Vegas with her best friend for her bachelorette party Griffin is celebrating and sale of one of his hotels. Griffin sets his sights on Kristen and a lot of drinks they wake up married. Kristen goes back to her daily life getting her design firm up and running with her best friend but when her friend is put on bedrest it’s up to Kristen to keep the new business going and things aren’t looking so good. One night while Kristen is working late, she sees an add for Faux and signs up never thinking that they would call. Griffin is trying to show his grandmother that all his wild oats are sowed so he calls Faux to hire a fake finance. Griffin is stunned to see Kristen his ex-wife and chooses her. They head to Greece to meet his grandmother and for him to finish getting control of his grandfather’s company. While there Kristen jumps in and helps Griffin finish up a property. Throw in some family drama and in the end true love wins. Great Read!
Fake It For Real by Weston Parker is a captivating, entertaining, enjoyable, steamy with a roller coaster ride of emotion.. a romance story of Griffin and Kristen, A vegas intoxicated and accident wedding and a full blown hangover/walk of shame later that something you dont want to repeat, what happened to vegas stay in vegas..but what if fate is against you? Griffin is a succesful business man in his own right and came to a wealthy family in Greece and heir to his family fortune but there is a catch for him to inherit his family fortune he needs to be a stable man and to be serious because he loves his grandparents he hired an escort to pretend as his fiance and guess who he choose? right his ex wife who needs money for their new business..their fake relationship becomes real and their chemistry is off the chart but what happened when his grandmother finds out the truth? read it to find out! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another fabulous story in the Faux Series .. and it is definitely a winner! Best book I’ve read in awhile. Started reading and couldn’t/didn’t put it down until I got to the very end. Griffin, from a leading family in Greece has made his own fortune in buying/selling hotels in NY and is set to inherit all the family businesses in Greece. Kristen has a new interior design business, which is struggling to get started because her partner is pregnant and on bed rest. Griffin and Kristen meet in a most unusual way.. then months later meet in a more unusual way through Faux. I don’t like to give away storylines but I will tell you this story will not disappoint. It’s a fun read, interesting plot, great location, sweet, sexy, spellbinding and so much more. It’s a 10* book! I loved it and I am leaving this ARC review voluntarily.
This is the fourth book in the series and I loved it. After a drunken night in Vegas Kristen and Griffin find out that not everything stays in Vegas. One annulment later and there drunken marriage is over. Six months later and Griffin needs a fake fiance so his grandmother will sign over the Greek part of the family business to him. When he meets the woman he picked at the Faux agency he can't believe that it is Kristen. The chemistry is still there between them but will that be enough to fool his family. Things are going great until his grandmother finds out the truth. There is so much drama and plenty of unkind words but Griffin can't believe that he has now lost the only woman that he has ever wanted. Can they work things out or did his family ruin everything. A must read with a brilliant ending. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Amazing. Stunning. I love this story. I could not put it down. Written with so much heart. There’s heartache, heartbreak, anger, deceit, but love conquers all. An absolutely fabulous story about a billionaire who falls in love with a normal, beautiful, friendly, has it all together woman. Kristen didn’t know who Griffin was when she met him but she still had feelings for him. Kristen is not used to money or private jets or limousines, but it doesn’t take her long to appreciate it. She can do with it or without it. But she’ll have to do “with it“ for as long as she’s with Griffin. And Griffin? He is like sex on a stick and he is attracted to her at first sight. Their story is up and down and then up and down again, but once everybody comes to their senses, and knows the whole story, their life is perfect. Love always finds a way.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, or does it?!? Kristen and Griffin meet in a bar and proceed to get smashed together which leads them to Elvis, as in officiating at their wedding! They vaguely remember something but not much. Kristen has a diamond on her finger, though. Quickly annulled and we move forward seven months. Now Griffin needs a fake fiance to take to Greece to meet his grandmother. Kristen needs an infusion of money to save her fledgling company, so she agrees to go. Of course, romance blooms (along with some fabulous love scenes), but soon it all goes awry. The characters are wonderful, Griffin strong and masterful, but with a soft heart. Kristen has no family to speak of but friends she is extremely loyal to. Great story in a great series by one of my favorite authors! Loved it!!
This is my first time reading a Weston Parker book. I’ve read similar stories dealing with the fake relationship trope that begins at a dating agency. This one was entertaining enough, but didn’t bring anything new to the trope. It’s a light hearted read with just a bit of drama. Sometimes the conversations/arguments went around in circles, and it made the book drag. Kristen was a good character but a bit of a pushover even though she claimed she was independent and tough because she lived in NYC. Griffin was a good character as well. I enjoyed seeing him be a little challenged with Kristen. I didn’t care for Josie. She could not be redeemed for me after her completely out of line comments to Kristen. I recommend this book if you want a quick, spicy and easy read that doesn’t have a lot of drama.
Let me lead with how cool it is to read a book where I share a name with the heroine. It doesn’t hurt that Kristen is such a sweet and awesome character, either. Griffin was pretty special too. I felt like his family didn’t value him properly. I’m not sure they even saw the real Griffin. The two of them together are Hallmark-movie-precious, even if they get up to the sorts of naughty fun that would NEVER be shown in one of those. There’s some significant friend and family drama they need to overcome, but I thought they handled it all with a lot of grace and dignity. I hate letting go of these characters now that the book is over. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
The connection between Kristen and Griffin is hard to deny from the very start. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but does it really. While they try to forget their one crazy night, faith brings them back together. Griffin is desperate to make his grandmother believe he has “settled” so he reaches out to Faux’s Dating Service to hire a fake Fiancé. What he doesn’t understand is the familiar feeling he gets to the picture of the girl in the album. Kristen signed up months ago hoping to make some quick money to save her business. It’s there that the two meet again. Can they work together so they both get what they want? Only time will tell in this fun loving tale where they travel across the country to prove their love.
FAKE IT FOR REAL (A Faux Love Novel #4) by Weston Parker
Once again Weston Parker has written a book that is addictive once started. This is the 4th in the Faux Love series. Kristen meets Griffin while at a drunken wild bachelorette party weekend for her best friend. A surprise wedding, an escape out of the hotel, and with an annulment everything is dissolved quietly. They don't see each other again until Kristen, while needing fast, money to keep her design business afloat, turns to Della to work for Faux. Griffin decides to hire a woman to be his fake fiance, to meet his family. Imagine their surprise when they see each other, then he chooses her to be his fiance. This is another well written story. I give this 5 stars.
Griffin was born wealthy but wanted to prove his worth and made his own fortune. He’s been to Vegas a couple years before after a big sale and runs across Kristen who was with her BFF on her bachelorette party. They end up getting drunk together and ended up marrying and into a hotel suite together! They end up divorced and moved on. Now he has to go to Greece for a family things and to show he’s not a playboy but grown up and can get this inheritance from his grandfather. But he needs a woman on his are and goes to hire Kristen needed money and joins the app for dates being bought for. He picks her and they go to Greece as a fake couple. But what will happen when his grandmother figures it out? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a book in A Faux Love Novel Series by this author. It is a lighthearted romance between divorced couple, Griffin and Kristen. These flawed but likeable characters and the unique plot make for an entertaining read. What starts out as a fake fiancee arrangement turns into something more. It is a romantic adventure filled with drama, humor, frustrating moments, family dynamic, unexpected twists, and passion, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. The main characters share an undeniable chemistry and connection. An easy read with a happy ending. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series.
I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
5 stars I received a free copy of the New York and Greece set steamy novel Fake It For Real (A Faux Love Novel, book #4): Kristen and Griffin by Weston Parker, and this review was given freely. Complex, ironic, and steamy combining a critical and dictatorial grandmother, the stress of opening a business while saving a fragile pregnancy, and an instant attraction romance where coincidence and fate lead to love and a family of choice. Struggling with negativity in both her personal and professional lives, fledgling New York interior design business co-owner Kristen Powell finds her emotions further challenged when her Las Vegas one-night stand, wealthy New York- Greece hotel flipper, Griffin Kappas reappears as her first Faux client.
When Griffin and Kristen met in Vegas they just clicked, this somehow led them to a Wedding Chapel. They are both independent and likeable but what happened in Vegas was supposed to end there.
Months late Griffin for his own reasons decides to hire a professional companion to pretend to be his girlfriend, for reasons which are complicated it's Kristen who arrives to fill that role a role that gets more complicated when Griffin’s family becomes become involved.
The storyline works well and drew me in from the beginning and kept my interest to the end. There's lots more I could say but I don't want to give any spoilers, what I will say is I liked the characters loved their chemistry and the heat they shared.
Henry owns a hotel chain and when he wants to broaden his business, he is told that he needs to up his image and have a girl on his arm. When he is told to try a dating service, he wasn’t so sure but eventually decided why not. Izzy is studying to be a surgeon but knows that it will cost a lot of money and doesn’t want to have to ask for help. When her best friend suggest that she look in Faux she is like why not. This is where she meets Henry who hires her for 12 dates. This is a great fake relationship romance. Weston did an awesome job on the character and the storyline. I am really enjoying this series and can’t wait to see what’s next. I received an arc copy and I am voluntarily leaving my review.
Griffin and Kristen’s story has a different take on a familiar storyline. I love these two characters; coming for different worlds, but so much in common. Griffin is a billionaire who buys old properties and fixes them up and sells them. Kristen and her best friend own an interior design business. They meet in Vegas at Josie’s bachelorette party. That’s when thing start getting real, real interesting. There are ups and downs, twists and turns and it’s so steamy, I’m surprised the pages weren’t burning while I read it. It’s amazingly written and well worth the read.
An entertaining read. This story is about Kristen and Griffin. She is attending a bachelorette party for her BFF in Vegas. Griffin is celebrating and sale of one of his hotels. He sees Kristen and wants her. They both get drunk and wake up married. They go back to their everyday lives. Kristen has a design start up with her BFF and takes over when her friend get sick. The company needs clients to survive so Kristen so she calls an escort/dating company. Griffin is trying to show his grandmother he’s settling down and mature and responsible so he calls Faux to hire a fake finance and, of course, is shocked when he sees her. A little predictable but an entertaining read.
One night in Vegas morning finds major problems. Kristen struggling designer, Griffin billionaire playboy find themselves in a predicament. Her business is failing and she gets a call from Faux. She meets her date and its him. The one she left. A trip to Greece pretending leads to all sorts of adventures and miss understanding. I was taken with this book the minute I saw Grandmas name. This was a good book. One to go into my library to read and treasure over and over again. Side note to Weston....you made me cry with his YaYa..I lost my mom and that was her name. This is why I read your work.
