Harolin is left with questions, as he hoovers over the dead body of his son’s mother. Although he has questions, what he doesn’t have is Keava. He’s determined to get her and assure her that he’s who she needs in her life. First, he wants to get to the bottom of the deconstruction that seems to surround her wherever she goes. He felt she was worth it before getting to know her, and now, he’s sure of it. Keava knows that she needs someone to trust. The one who she normally trusts without question, is now suspect in her eyes. She has an unseen enemy, while she doesn’t fear for her life, the new relationship she’s building with Harolin does. She’s ready to lay her truths on the line to have him in her life. Her only concern is, how will he take it, and will it be worth it in the end? Adisa is a well-known screw up. He would get into trouble and Harolin would rescue him. Once again, he has bitten off more than he can chew, only this time he can’t turn to Harolin. What is a man to do when he doesn’t have his usually scapegoat? She put the Ass in Assassin isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be when there’s enemies who wants you dead. Leap into the tantalizing, drama filled pages of the final installment and find out if being an assassin is worth your life.
To know me is to love me. My identity begins with my name but makes a statement with my pen. I'm a mother of two and a wife of one. My love for writing began at the age of two. That's right I first wrote my name at the age of two and I've been writing ever since. Growing up I always felt invisible. I suffered from that 'Middle Child Syndrome', so when my voice wasn't heard, I made my own story. My journal and my pen became my companion. I would write stories where my characters looked like me (thick, tall, and pretty), they loved to read, was educated, and realistic. The older I got the more my imagination grew, which caused my stories to be more diverse. Becoming an author came about in an unintentional way. I've been through many things in my adult life. My husband, who's my backbone, has always admired my strength. We suffered a devastating loss, our daughter. My husband urged me to tell my story, to be a light for someone else. I took him up on his advice and wrote my pains and truths. I love weaving stories, touching readers with relatable characters and situations. I give life lessons, unconditional love, dedication, a little crazy, and a whole lot of truth. I have a saying that I live by; 'I don't just write books;I tell stories'.
Ok this was ok for a finale but it could've been more like with the uncle why not expose him for what he was and let the media crucifiey him and the rest of the family that's what they fought so hard to keep a secret they should've let it out.., Jesse ..why didn't we find out why she thought doc was her dad what did the momma say to her and didn't he say he found paperwork in the brothers house why would he say he didn't know about her.... something should've happen to dorito and bookshelf something that embarrassed the hell out of them and we should've heard from Adidas about the hell he was going through in Alaska before he went out......I thought it would've been a part 3 but I guess not
Every time I write a review of a series know that I have read them all before leaving a review. I must say I loved both books! I’ve read quite a few books by the author and I must say I’m never disappointed. A creative writing critique: I love the back stories but to me some of the characters thoughts were not really required but at the same time when you want a certain amount of word per book you to stretch but then again as the reader it caused me to skim some of it. Again to those reading my review so that I would still 1000% recommend this to be a great read! I also love the bbw books (fellow bbw queen myself)! Great work Kendra!
Ok ok.. I loved how Harolin stepped up to protect his girl. Even when she didn't know she needed he gave it to her and she loved him for it. I liked how both families meshed together and becaome one. How they were there for each other because they shared the love of Kee and Harolin. I loved them all around for real. Everyone in the first book that wanted my girl gone is gone and I like that lol. Really good read of course and funny as well. I liked Keava when Harolin is around because I can just feel her feelings!!!
Whew I'm glad Keava took out her Uncle because he was the one in the wrong I hate family secrets, Doc told them about his twin and they tried to give Jesse a pass but she didn't take it including Dorit too,Now Doc beat cancer and Keave & Harolin got married and added to their family!!
Great read. I have to say that I was glad and grateful that I didn't have to wait on Book #2. I was hooked on all of the action. read anything from this author that was not great. I have enjoyed all of her work that I have read. This story is great. All of the characters are interesting.
I really enjoyed this book. Talking about woman who enjoying her work is a under statement. Then to find a man who understands her without judgement is truly a real love. Everything about this love story is magnificent. You did it again. I'm waiting on your next book. Great read.
This series was a good read. I'm so glad that Keava and Harolin got their happiness in the end. This was such a positive ending from the upbringing that Keava was subjected to. The snake that Adisa was is surprisingly unforgivable since Harolin was his backbone, but in the end he got his just due. I'm so glad that everything that her uncle\father sent her way was a failure and he along with all his hires got their just due. Doc was a godsend and happy he beat his illness. Great writing from the author.
I know Harolin put the bullet between them eyes. She should have left well enough alone or asked for a DNA test. It could have cleared up some shit. Kevea was a beast. I was loving her from the start. She definitely my type of fried. Since every thing fell in line to move forward. Life is going to be the greatest assassin all!
This was a great story, made me fill good to be Big Bodied!!! This story shows that you. don't have a twiggy sized body to find love. I am a living example, and have had three children to show, keep writing stories. about Big, Black, and Beautiful Women finding true love!!!!!!!
I love her books, all of them but this one was different read then the others, but I really liked it it moved at a fast pace I got lost in it couldn’t put it down. Good work kemdra
I love how the ending didn't end in a cliff hanger or wondering what's happening with the characters... It was all put together it explained everything from him one and was just a down right good book all together... Loved it ❤️❤️
This was a great read! Keava had so many people in her life that was messed. I wouldnt wish that kind of life on my worst enemy. In the end everyone got exactly what they deserved.
Girl this was another banger from Kendra I love her books so much and she did not disappoint at all this is a must read im glad all who wrong het got what they deserve and she got her happy ending with harolin
All I can say is wow this series was one for the books I loved Keava and Harolin Dorit and Jesse both got wat they deserved Dorit was jealous for no reason Adisa wasn’t a true friend he was also jealous of Harolin We need a update on these characters
I just knew it. Another great read. Once again I was not disappointed. The way everything played out was far more than expected. Can’t wait to see what’s next to come.
This was a good sequel. Lots of action, growth for the heroine and open storylines tied up with a nice deadly bow. Again, the lack of proofing for SPAG issues caused it to be a less than five star read. 3.5
Love this book. Started off a little slow but, a boy lets just say I could not put it down. Leave was off the hook my shero. She was not to be played with. With her man by her side. She became a kind and warm hearted woman.
A good ending of a well written. The drama finally came to an end with the death of all who caused harm in Kees life. From the rapist daddy/ uncle to all of the assassins. The love she found brought out her softer side and the broth was so good.
It was really good and refreshing. A lot of the times when authors make books about Queen pins and female assassins. They make them too masculine. They take away their femininity which could be their greatest asset.
Let me sit this A$$ on you ,show you how I feel let me take this off will you watch me yes mass appeal. Don’t take your eyes don’t take your eyes off it , watch it babe if you like you can touch me baby do you do you wanna touch me baby???????????
She was one cold person, and I love it. Everyone who did her dirty got what they deserved. Now they got me wanting to buy a monkey and name him jersey. Doc was the man all the way around. He loved that girl like she was his blood. Now that is what you call a real OG.
She really put the a** in assassin!! Keava was too dang mean!! The way she did Dorit and Jesse took me right out…I still don’t know who fired the bullet that killed Jesse!! Shame she didn’t listen!!
I am glad she let him love her after all the pain and hurt.she went through.she was a bad --tch.and I love her relationship with her godfather.he really loved her he taught her well.
This series just did not do it for me... So much more was needed and so much was not needed...it felt rushed. I love my KS but I was hoping for so much more.
Loved , loved loved. The characters were so well thought out that I felt like I could see them clearly & hear them. I highly recommend this two part series.
I truly enjoyed reading this book even with the minor errors. To be honest, I wished it was a bit longer as I wanted to learn more about their married life.
First of all this was a great read. So many twist and turns, it was a page turner from beginning to the end. Waiting on the next one.Keep up the good work.
