But when I'm paid 2 million to guard Alejandro's little cousin in the mountains, the breath left in my lungs might be my last.

She's trying to hold me together, but I'm shattered pieces. And those pieces? They're scattered across the wind.

But I'll use every piece of myself to guard her, even if it kills me.

~*~*~

It's a miracle I can still put a smile on my face and see the beauty of this world after the hell I've endured.

I'm strong. I'm a warrior. I fight.

And when I meet Walker, see the pain and darkness residing in his soul, I find myself trying to heal him. I hate seeing his pain.

Damaged souls

Walker has loved Vincent for a long while. He has an awful past. When he has to protect Nova he sees that she has demons chasing her from when she was abducted, raped and sold.

While protecting her they sleep together and catch feelings. However when Vincent comes to the rescue and he sees their connect. Can't believe Walker just lets Nova leave.

Unfortunately this is split in two books and continues with Vincent's story in book 7.

Walker has demons that he's fighting every day and luckily for him, Vincent is by his side every step of the way. Not only did Vincent save Walker when he was taken as POW but he's also Walker's rock and love of his life. When he's hired by Alejandro to take his cousin, Nova, and hide her, Walker feels an attraction to Nova. Now falling in love with the one woman that just might complete both Walker and Vincent, can Walker get past his guilt and demons?

I've loved every one of the Savage Crows but without a doubt, Walker and Vincent are my very favorite. Their connection and love for each other is irrevocable. They have been through hell and back together, forging an unbreakable bond. Can that bond both withstand and include Nova?

Walker and Vincent have been together since their military days. Vincent saved him when he was all but dead. The Savage Crows do not know about the fact they are lovers, Walker does not want people in his business. Vincent is the only one that keeps him sane. When Alejandro wants him to watch over his cousin without Vincent, will he be able to hold it together? He does not count on the light in Nova being something that pulls to him. Vincent is his heart, how can he feel something for Nova?

I cannot wait for Vincent’s story, to see how things play out with the three.

oh the beauty of angst

Three beautifully broken souls that fully need each other but only one soul that can see how much they need each other … whew (fans self) the angst was so fucking achingly beautiful and made my heart hurt in the best way (I love angst okay, fluff is nice and all but angst just hurts so damn good). The steam accompanying the angst was fucking perfect, it just flowed beautifully together and didn’t feel forced into place like I’ve seen before. Such a good read, now the pain of waiting for Vincent and the conclusion of this story. (But really, who doesn’t enjoy the drawn out HEA at times?)

A Shattered heart finds and knows another shattered heart.

Not sure how to see this book yet. Usually a why choose is the women is with more than one man. But im not sure what to think when she is just with Walker. I was hoping it was both of the guys with her and I hope it is the next book but can't say that I won't be disappointed if it isn't. I think she could use both of them. But still a nice short story

Loved It

I loved the start to Walker, Vincent’s and Nova’s story. The only thing I wished the author had done was research the distance between Ohio and Alaska because let me tell you Vincent wouldn’t have gotten from Ohio to Alaska on his bike in a few hours. A few days maybe but not a few hours. Otherwise, I loved the characters and the first half of this storyline.

Y’all I am in love with this book. Vincent and Walker’s relationship literally made my heart soft. I also love how Nova was so accepting towards their tight bond and fitted right in a relationship with them. Can’t wait to read Vincent!

wow

All of the feels. I was SO happy to finally find out Walker and Vincent were together, I had a feeling but wasn’t sure and I’m glad I was right. Walker and Vincent have a strong unbreakable bond and I loved that. Walker has been battling his demons daily with the help of Vincent but when he goes on assignment to protect Nova, feelings develop. This story had so many twists I didn’t see coming and I’m excited to see how it all finished in Vincent’s book.
