The three Malone brothers Grant, Grady and Grayson are the heroes of this new series by K. Bromberg.
The last one - Grayson - is a rescue helicopter pilot and a single dad of 8 year old Luke.
He's also just been demoted to desk duty, because he didn't listen to his boss while on a rescue mission.
And he's also just entered a Hot Dad contest in a local family magazine.
Only he didn't enter himself - his brothers signed him up for it. And now he's in the top 20 and they need more hot pictures of him. But he's SO not willing!
Enter Sidney.
She grew up in Sunnyville and she also kinda got demoted ... from her dad. She is to go back home to work at that family magazine for a while and if she survives that, she'll get her dream job at the glamour fashion magazine.
And now the only thing standing in her way is stubborn Grayson.
They knew each other in high school - she was the snobby rich girl and he used to work at the diner.
He was attracted to her, but she would've never started anything with a blue-collar boy.
Now she has to prove that she's changed.
Maybe now is finally the time for those two to find their happily ever after?

AWWWW ... ADORABLE!
Grayson is such an amazing guy. Hot and sexy and a pilot with a uniform!! And he's such a great dad to adorable Luke.
Poor Luke's only dream in life is get a new mommy!! Awww!
But Grayson doesn't date - he doesn't want to get the boy's hopes up, only to have it not work out with a woman.
But now here's Sidney. And she's not going away.
Luke is already mega excited about the whole contest and that they could win a trip to Disneyland!
Grayson and Sidney would be so perfect for each other. But she hates everything family! She can't imagine herself married with kids. And Grayson is still sour about her snotty behaviour as a teenager. And he's still even more angry about Luke's rich-girl mom leaving them when Luke was just a baby.
I really enjoyed reading it.
Even though there were some long moments. Especially the beginning. The phone-call with Sidney's friend. That was way too long. It was a conversation to explain everything to us - but it should've been done a bit different. Maybe half phone call, half talking to us or herself. It was just too long with too much info. BUT I still really loved the story and the people in it! It was just not something mega exciting or new. I've read a million such single daddy stories. And I've loved them all. I just would've loved something a little bit ... more. More exciting, more new, fresh, more whoa! There was no whoa at all. No surprises, no drama, no danger, no huge fight. It was all a bit tame. BUT I kinda love books with no unnecessary drama.
Another tiny little thing. The way Grayson and Sidney get together. When does it happen? I didn't really feel any sparks or anything much between them in the beginning. It was a bit weird. They didn't really fall for each other. They meet and he's mad at her and she thinks he's sexy and suddenly we kiss and ...what, when, how, huh ?? Felt weird to me.
BUT, I really adored those people and I enjoyed reading it - even though my last lines ↑↑ might've suggested something different!☺ I especially loved those Luke moments - I wanted more of that!!!
Great romance with lots of funny and adorable and sexy moments, but also some very moving & teary moments.
WORTH THE RISK was a really adorable & funny & sexy small-town single-dad falls for the rich city girl love story! Definitely WORTH spending some reading hours on while waiting for Passionflix to finish filming DRIVEN!
But just so you know ... Grayson is MINE - so go run to your nearest amazon to get your own!!!.

➦K. Bromberg has definitely brought the angst with this one. I think I write in every review how all of her books make me cry. But this book... Ok, I didn't really expect it. I didn't expect to sob through the last 30%.
➦I certainly didn't expect to care this much about what happens to fictional characters. Because come on, fictional characters! I might have even gotten a little bit angry (at myself? at the author? at the world?) because my heart was hurting. I don't know what kind of witchcraft K. Bromberg practices but I hope she keeps practicing and perfecting it for many years to come. And I'll be here,
➦Recommending this one to anyone who enjoys second chance & small town romances, opposites attract & secret relationship tropes with hot single pilot dad for a hero. I know you're no longer reading this review because you're already away 1 clicking this baby. :D Sealed!

They say you save the best for last, and that's precisely what K. Bromberg has done with the third Malone brother. Ever since I read Cuffed I've been itching to get my hands on his story. The broken hearted, closed off single father that's there for everyone but has ultimately given up on love hit all of my check boxes. I knew his book would tug at every heart string, and I was not wrong.
Grayson has been burned. Once upon a time he took a chance on love, only for the woman to turn out to be a selfish and entitled rich girl who left him and their son behind and never looked back. Now it's just him and his boy, and he like that just fine. His brothers may have all found love, but his only love has been his son, and he intends to keep it that way. But things get a little complicated when his name ends up in the Hot Dad contest that brings a blast form his past to his door.
Sidney comes from a rich family but that doesn't mean she doesn't know hard work. Her father ensures of it when he makes her work her way to the job of her dreams by saving a magazine that she really wants no part of. Used to the frills and thrills of the city, Sidney suddenly finds herself in small town America, working for a family magazine, and trying to convince a man that could save the magazine to participate in a contest he wants no part of.
I really liked Sidney. This is a woman that can own the mistakes of her past. She knows that she was the snooty in-crowd girl that didn't pay much attention to the blue-collar boy Grayson of their high school past. But she's not that girl anymore, no matter how much Grayson wants to continue to paint her with that tainted paintbrush. Grayson is convinced she's just like his ex; rich, entitled, and out only for herself. So the chemistry brewing between them from the start? Extremely inconvenient.
I loved the slow burn and sexual tension. I'm all about the enemies to lovers trope and this book brought it in spades. The constant push and pull, the antagonistic arguments, the heated looks. All of it was utterly delicious to read. And when they finally give in to the sparks between them? Explosive!
As much as I wanted to hate Grayson for his treatment of Sidney at times, I simply couldn't. This was a man with deep emotional scars, and it's hard to let go of a past that colored so much of your future. Sidney, for her part, at times let him believe the worst of her, until of course, she didn't. That had to have been my favorite part; watching her finally show him who she is. Watching her change and fall hard. Luke was just as adorable as he was in the other books, I loved that little boy to pieces. It was no wonder it took him no time at all to steal Sidney's heart.
Worth The Risk is a heartwarming story of love in unexpected places. It was emotional and swoony. I loved watching both Gray and Sidney fall for each other and their fight for each other. It's easily enjoyed as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the other two Malone brothers in Cuffed and Combust. But of course, single daddy rescue pilot Gray was definitely my favorite.

I have been waiting for Grayson's book, ever since I've read "Cuffed". I was so curious to get to know more about this "medevac" single dad !! I'm glad to say that he didn't disappoint ;) He is definitely a combination of sexy and sweet ! A real Hero.. I especially loved the relationship he had with his 8 year old son Luke.
Sidney however, is a different story. I didn't like her all that much in the beginning. She really seemed to be the selfish person Grayson thought she was. Thankfully she is also the one, who evolved the most throughout the story. The further I got the more I was rooting for her ;)
There was one other person in this book who stole my heart...Luke...He was such a sweet and funny kid. Damn if my hear didn't break each time he asked about getting a new mom. I think the best parts of the story were the ones with Luke.. Well those and the steamy parts that is :P
I don't know which story I would pick as my favorite in this series...this one or "Combust" I guess it's a draw :P
I do know that I highly recommend this series to those who love sweet, emotional romances, with a side of fun and steam ;)

This was one of the most beautiful, most emotional single dad romances I’ve read this year! K. Bromberg is ONE OF A KIND when it comes to this genre! I would follow her anywhere! I knew Grayson Malone’s story was going to break my heart, but I had no idea that the connection between myself and the characters would be so fierce. They frustrated me. They made me feel so much. They made me think. They made me cry. They made me fall for them over and over again. With flawless writing and an unforgiving emotional pull, Bromberg has done it again! She’s held me captive, fueled my addiction, and blew me away! Grayson, Sidney, AND Luke will absolutely MELT your heart!

Cute kid alert!!! This was the absolute cutest read. I'm a sucker for a single dad romance and this one delivered in a major way!!
I absolutely loved the previous books in this serious and was over the moon excited for this release. K. Bromberg is an automatic one-click author and never disappoint. That holds true with those read as well. It's well written, emotional, and features fantastic characters.
I adored Grayson and Sydney, but Luke stole the show. He's such a cutie!! I was completely invested in the action of this story. Grayson and Luke have a system that works. Although Luke's mom abandoned them when he was a baby, they're doing fine. Gray is such a great dad! His first priority is his kid. How could I not fall in love with him? It was absolutely inevitable.
When Sydney returns to town to take charge of the Hot Dad contest, sparks fly. The reunion isn't a smooth one, but their chemistry is undeniable. Sydney is such a great heroine!!! Her character development is amazing. I loved watching her grow after meeting Luke.

God, these Malone boys have literally stolen my heart!!!! I love them all so much and I'm sad that their stories are coming to an end!!!
In a way or another, those boys were heroes who didn't think that they were doing anything heroic and of course, they found the perfect women for them, even with many imperfections!!!
I love this family, all of them, and i will carry them with me for a long time!!!

Well, i loved and this couple in this wonderful series by K. Bromberg!!! That woman has the ability to write beautiful stories which have everything inside... Amazing and strong characters... Simple, but at the same time unordinary plots... Funny moments, sexy moments.... A quiet action...
And of course, many, many everyday heroes who can steal your heart!!!!
Well, Grayson was hurt by the past and he was trying really hard to protect his heart and his son and i totally understood him!!!
Unfortunately, he was a little bit judgemental toward Sidney and i didn't like it!!!!
He had some certain experience and it wasn't good that he was trying to mirror them upon Sidney...
But, as much of an asshole he was some times, his heart had its own mind and he was showing him the right way.... Even though he was stubborn like a mule!!!! LOL
As a father, Gray was absolutely amazing!!!! His relationship with Luke was... stunning!!!!

Sidney from the other hand, in the prologue seems a little bit shallow, but as the pages were passing by, she was showing more and more depth and i liked what i was seeing...
I liked how persistent she was and i liked how she managed to crawl inside Gray's life... and Luke's!!!
Yep, she didn't like generally children, but in her interactions with Luke from the first moment, i really could not see it!!! She was a wonderful person and this small and noisy town managed to change her!!! Ahem!!! Not only the town, but the hottie dad, as well!!!
But there was a tiny little problem, except Grayson's obsessions with the past... He was participating in a contest that she was responsible and that was a good reason to stay away from him....
So what will happen with those two???

4.5 'Worth ALL the Risk' Stars
Oh my... These Malone men really are unforgettable! True Malone TRIFECTA!!! The emotion, the steam and the sweetness of Worth The Risk are sure to touch your heart in every way!
I can't believe that the story of the last Malone brother is finally here. Since Cuffed, where we met this handsome, quiet single dad, I've been so curious about Grayson and all he was hiding with that teasing and easy going personality. Well, I can see he met his match, I couldn't have chosen a better woman, for his broken trust and suspicion attitude towards relationships.
Given his displeased memories of a spoiled rich teenage Sidney, to say there is animosity when they meet again is downplaying it, lol. What neither of them counted on is that the memories were nothing compared to their instant attraction! It was scorching to say the least!!!
She tastes like heaven and hell. Like want and need. Like deception and desire.
Of course this dichotomy and their background gave me a contemporary Pride and Prejudice vibe (one of my all time fav romances), with spectacularly witty and sexy banter, and a whole LOT of steam!
Sidney was the BEST! She may have been a bit of a privileged daughter, and she's the first to admit to her shortcoming, but damn, she was relentless! Once she returned to this small town, you could see her transformation - or was it blossoming of true nature? - from day to day, and after getting close to Grayson and Luke, wow... I truly loved her!

With how wise, thoughtful and considerate Grayson had proven to be on the other books, I was surprised with the size of the chip on his shoulder. I understood where he was coming from, with his past and what and who Sidney reminded him of, but lordy, was he he stubborn one. A super sexy and wonderful one, but still a hard headed one, lol. Sidney really had to battle and use all resources - with a little help - but she knew he was worth it.
“Like I said, I take too many risks.” “Not all risks are bad things.”
Not only him, but LUKE!!! Oh... My... God... This little man completely stole my - and Sidney's - heart. How could it not?! Every single moment with him, and knowing his sincere and heartfelt wishes, make him even more irresistible than his dad, and that is saying a lot! He was one of my all time fav children in romance with his endearing and genuine ways!
By leaving him, the one Malone who I know has fought for me.
This kid. I tell you . . . he really is everything.
He, and Grayson, sure as hell were worth the battle. And that's what it was, a true battle to prove that love is more than worth the risk, it's worth EVERYTHING!!!
If only Grayson had seen Sidney was just as worth the same risk, and solved his issues a bit earlier on, I'd have given the book the full five stars, but his constant pushing away and specially comparison of the similarities between Sidney and his ex were a bit to much, but the woman endure everything like a trooper, even if it hurt her, she knew them two were more than worth, and what Grayson was hiding behind those walls! He was so caring and loving to her, at times, she kew it was the ghosts of his past that didn't allow him to be truly happy. He lived only for him son, and was fighting his demons non stop, but thanks to once again some superb and expert advise from dad Malone, - this man has seriously the best lines! - he was able to move forward and show Sidney she too was worth the risk.

Worth the Risk showed us one again K. Bromberg's brilliant and addictive writing style! The depth of the emotions, the steam of the sexy scenes, the complexity and realism of all the characters and the rollercoaster ride that Ms, Bromberg makes of their journey as a couple and as individual, where the romance shines trough really are unparalleled. Therefore I couldn't be happy that the books of Malone universe aren't stopping here, because I can NEVER get enough of this guys, and even with all the delicious glimpses we got here from all the brother's and their families, from the precious books, like the greedy Bromberg fan I am, I always want and NEED more, so I'm now counting down the days for Desi's book, and watching even more of the Malones' HEA .
That's right, even with that beautiful and amazing Epilogue, I needed to see even more of their much deserved HEA, and further on - if you follow me you know what an HEA wh@re I am, lol - and that's just one of the many, many reasons, I'll anxiously await for Under Control, because I have no doubt Ms. Bromberg will give me all that and so, so , SO much more! Can't wait!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Kristy ALWAYS writes books with heart, depth and passion that are highly addictive.... but this one was especially fantastic. It made my heart race and my emotions fly from beginning to end. A book full of feels, with characters you really do care about and can relate to, it's definitely one of my all-time favourites of Kristy's stories. For all lovers for this genre YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS IT, I CAN'T RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH. It's SENSATIONAL!!

4.5 'Choosing risks' Stars!

K. Bromberg just delivers success after success! I fell in love with the Malone brothers in Cuffed and since I adore single parent themed romances, I was eagerly awaiting to read Grayson's story. Of course, you can imagine that Kristy did not disappoint her readers (since she never does!). The woman is one of my favorite authors and she one of the best when it comes to a emotional slow burn romance. Worth the Risk surely is that and so much more!
So, Worth the Risk is K. Bromberg's newest release and it can be read as a standalone novel but I do highly recommend reading the other Malone's stories (Cuffed and Combust) because these hot heroes will blow your mind! Now, Grayson Malone is one hell of a hero. He is a rescue helicopter pilot and single dad of an adorable kid called Luke. Enter Sidney Thorton, a woman coming from wealth but who just wants her father to see she is capable of being the best editor in chief of their fashion magazine. First, she has to save another of their magazines and what better way than a Hot Dad contest? Well, someone is not very happy his brothers sign him in on said contest and now Sidney has a lot of work on her hands. Let's say the rest is history!

Do I adore emotional love stories! Kristy is an amazing writer, I love how she develops her stories and the building of her characters and the relationships between them. In this case, Sidney is someone who reminds Grayson of his past and the selfish woman that left him and his little one for money. What is the consequence of that? Grayson is not happy with Sidney's presence in his life at the start. He wants to focus on getting back on track, he wants to focus on his life with Luke and he definitely does not want to feel what he feels for Sidney. Man, I loved the slow burn. These two have sparks from the very first moment and let me tell you, the outcome was explosive!

The chemistry between this couple is simply unstoppable. Grayson and Sidney will make you melt all over the place with all those sexy and emotional scenes. You'll love seeing more of the Malone brothers togehter too. And you will fall in a puddle of goo with all those absolutely sweet moments with Luke. He is the best kid and I totally get why Grayson wants to protect him with everything that he has. It's beautiful to see how he starts trusting Sidney, how they develop their love relationship together with Luke and how that ends in a very much deserved happy ending. You all know how much I love them!

Therefore, I am rating Worth the Risk with 4.5 STARS because it was the love story that I envisioned for Grayson Malone and I am so happy he found his soulmate in Sidney and how lovely they are as a family together with Luke. Also, it was great to keep seeing the other Malone's and their loved ones. I will surely miss these characters because now they have a place in my heart. But I am excited because we will get to read another story on this world about the sassy Desi Whitman! If you haven't read this series and you are a fan of K. Bromberg's work, be sure to check it out because it's so worth it! ;)

POV/PACE: Written in dual POV, 1st person and slow-paced with a repetitive story buildup with which I struggled at times to stay interested and not skim pages.
STORY/PLOT: The writing was good, but it lacked details to Grayson and Claire’s backstory to believe his trepidation in romantically involving himself with Sidney. It also lacked credibility that in 10 years, there was no communication or “accidental bump-ins” with Claire, her friends or her family considering they’re in a small town. I can believe that Claire disappeared and moved away but did they all fall off the face of the earth? How was it possible that Sidney did not hear about Claire’s relationship with Grayson? HERO: Grayson is portrayed as a “Hottie” but aside from his looks, his actions depict him more as insecure, judgmental and indecisive - and many times, just mean towards Sidney. He repeatedly places Sidney’s character in the same category as Claire’s instead of seeing her as an individual.
HEROINE: Sidney is determined to show everyone that she is more than the selfish spoiled rich girl she was in the past. I think her actions in trying to be more “Blue Collar” and less “Uptown” felt calculated instead of organic. If was about gaining Grayson and her father’s approval instead of changing for the better.
SIDE CHARACTERS: Grayson’s son Luke is cute, but he behaved and was treated much younger than an 8-year-old. His character should have been written for someone younger. I loved the banter between Grayson and his brothers and would have liked more of it.
CHEMISTRY: Contrived - the attraction and feelings towards each other lacked authenticity.
ANGST: I love angst filled stories and this one had the promise of one but fell short with Grayson’s repeated hang-ups about his ex-wife.
CONCLUSION: It lacked organic flow – too much “Tell” and not enough “Show”.
All in All: I liked the book – I really did! So, I will recommend giving it a try, but it did not resonate with me so no future re-reads for this reader.
STORY/PLOT: The writing was good, but it lacked details to Grayson and Claire’s backstory to believe his trepidation in romantically involving himself with Sidney. It also lacked credibility that in 10 years, there was no communication or “accidental bump-ins” with Claire, her friends or her family considering they’re in a small town. I can believe that Claire disappeared and moved away but did they all fall off the face of the earth? How was it possible that Sidney did not hear about Claire’s relationship with Grayson? When I finished this book, I remembered why I avoided this author in the past. I don’t doubt her writing talent, and her writing is good; but her ability to write an extremely mean hero packed in a ‘honorable’ package is overwhelming.
The last one was a firefighter; this one was a medical pilot.
This male protagonist, IMO, was a great dad, but a sh*tty man.
He had a good and honorable job, he cared a lot for his kid, but he was an absolute judgmental a$$ toward the heroine.
A hard past doesn’t give a person any right to treat the others bad! And it doesn’t give his family & friends any right to justify his behavior and to try to ‘smooth’ his a$$holeshness.
I read for the heroine. I’m a woman and I always support women.
No handsome, ‘well-equipped’, hot etc etc etc man should have a free pass to treat a woman bad and be forgiven based on his damaged past and good looks.
The same scenario but with a bad-looking guy and she would have kicked his a$$ after the 1st ‘hello’!
The heroine was a tough girl, unfortunately under the strong spell of estrogen.
I waited till the moment she’d say ‘enough’ and stand up for herself. All attempts were in vain.
How much can a woman bear? How much can a woman forgive? Is it a sign of the strength?
In my world, which doesn’t interfere with Romancilandia, no man is worth your pride and self-respect.
Don’t get me wrong, he wasn’t a villain, he didn’t hurt her physically, but he gave her many emotional slaps.
I honestly wouldn’t have been surprised, if she had apologized for a bad weather/DAX index fall/natural disaster.
I don’t even want to mention his brothers… because the lack of respect for women in general was ridiculous. Wet and low, dude? And you’re high and dry?!
And those two are married men, who have/will have kids?! OMG… I have no words…

5 worth-the-wait stars
Another emotional, heartwarming and absolutely beautiful story. This single dad, enemies to lovers romance will give you all the feels you are looking for in a book and will leave you with a huge grin on your face.
I was waiting for this book since Cuffed and I was so impatient to get to know Grayson and his cute little boy. And man, did they steal my heart? I absolutely fell in love with these Malone men and their story captivated me from the very beginning. And the title couldn’t be more perfect because they were indeed WORTH THE WAIT and WORTH THE RISK.
Grayson - another broken hero and Kristy Bromberg definitely can write those like no other. His story was heartbreaking and I felt his pain and anger the whole time, but I was also in awe of the way he raised his son despite the circumstances. He was proclaimed a hero in his town for saving a lot of people as a rescue pilot, but he was trying to avoid all unnecessary attention for the sake of his child. It was simply impossible not to fall in love with him.
He had a lot of pent-up bitterness and he certainly had his reasons to close himself off from the world and not let anyone near him or his son, but sometimes you just have to take the chance and open yourself up to the possibilities ahead of you and hope they will be worth the risk.
Sidney - she was an ambitious girl from the big city determined to get her dream job. I have to say I wasn’t her biggest fan from the start. I admired her resolve to get what she wanted, but it seemed to me she was missing the big picture and not living her life to the fullest. Little by little she discovered herself and I loved the way her character evolved. Her development throughout the book was remarkable. It was impossible to resist these Malone men and eventually, as expected, she fell under their spell.
And Luke …OMG! This little boy completely stole my heart with his innocent comments, sensitivity and boyish charm. He was like the glue to put together all the pieces in this story. I felt his pain and struggled with him, but I had some good laughs at those father-son talks. He was adorable and his presence added to the story and made it that more emotional and heartwarming.
Grayson and Sidney didn’t have a good start. And at the beginning, it seemed like this was the impossible relationship. They were like fire and ice and frustrated the hell out of me. But you could feel the sexual tension flowing in the air and even when they were mad at each other they were like a firecracker ready to explode. The passion and chemistry were off the charts hot. And even though they were trying to fight their attraction for various reasons, it was impossible to ignore for too long.
And then when they finally gave up to the temptation they were like an explosion meant to happen. It was intense, it was mindblowing and just simply took my breath away. I was fanning myself on some of those steamy scenes.
But there was so much more to this story than the hot passion flowing from the pages. It was a story of slow self-discovery for both of them and I enjoyed watching them overcome their fears and take the chance at love. I also loved the small talks with the rest of the Malone family and the banter between the brothers, the little glimpses of the lives of the other couples. It was so good to be back in this world. And the little references to the Driven series made me smile. The writing was immaculate as usual. Perfect mixture of drama, laughs, hot steamy scenes, explosive passion, painful moments, intense situations, anger, fear, but most of all love – unexpected, never meant to happen, but healing. Love that was WORTH THE RISK. This story was definitely so worth the wait and worth the read and you should just jump straight in and enjoy the ride.

This is the Malone brother whose back story I have been anticipating the most. We got little glimpses of Grayson in the previous two books and all I knew about him was that he was a single dad – okay a hot single dad. A hot single dad who can fly helicopters and rescue people. He’s basically a hot single dad super hero.
However, Grayson is currently ‘grounded’ pending an investigation at work so he is pushing paperwork which is making him a bit antsy and impatient. When Sidney Thorton comes knocking on his front door one night he is completely blind sided. He hasn’t seen her since high school and he really isn’t happy to see her now. When she informs him that he is a finalist in a competition he didn’t enter, he is instantly on alert.
Sidney was one of those girls from a wealthy family who basically treated him like crap in high school, looking down their noses at people like him. Just to add to that picture, she was also the best friend of his wife, the wife that walked on him and their son 8 years ago. As far as Grayson is concerned Sidney is just like his ex and therefore not to be trusted.
Sidney has moved back to her hometown in an effort to prove to her father that she is worthy of her dream job as a fashion editor. Grayson is a finalist is a hot dad competition begin run by a parenting magazine that Sidney is working for. She is a bit nervous about seeing him again after so many years but excited to give him the good news.
Sidney does not get the response she anticipated when Grayson opens his front door. His son Luke is adorably cute but his dad not so much. She knows that he has no reason to trust her but his rudeness seems a bit over the top. She needs him to agree to participating to make this competition a success but can see that this will be an uphill battle that she may never win.
You know how in a movie when a couple seem to clash when they first meet but it is usually because there is this undeniable attraction between them? Well that is definitely playing out in this story. He wants her but is pissed off with himself for it. She wants to get down and dirty in a no strings attached way. His son Luke is at an age where he desperately wants a mother to love him. Things have the potential to get very complicated here but maybe it will be worth the risk?
I absolutely loved Grayson’s story, and Luke – oh my goodness, that wee boy had me in tears and my heart ached for him so much. I loved every moment of this book.

Worth the Risk is just another jewel in the crown of her successes!
This story of Sidney and Grayson is spectacular. A shared history of growing up in the same town but as time goes on, they change is such different ways.
Sidney grew up with great privilege and wealth and as a child she was a product of that. But K. elegantly shows how much Sidney has changed since then and is becoming a better person, but still has roots of big city living and jet setting trips.
Grayson, oh Grayson....such a beautiful mess he is. He has been hurt so badly that he has used any excuse necessary to keep himself from getting hurt again and it has worked for years. Until Sidney comes back into town...
The chemistry between these two is WHITE hot! From their first interaction to the last it's just whew!! Can I just say that Grayson's dirty talk and texts are "da bomb!"
The angst is on point! Not to much to make you want to scream and stop reading but just enough to keep you turning the pages and cheering them on!
The secondary characters are phenomenal and really help the story flow.
In my humble opinion, K has yet to write a book that I haven't fallen in love with and with this story that love affair lives on!

Doormat heroine, grudge holding, hot headed hero. I didn't like either of them.
Sidney, where was her pride? Her self esteem? She let Grayson repeatedly verbally abuse her, and instead of sticking up for herself, she crawled back saying more please. She even blames herself for his hang ups!!!
Grayson, it's been eight years dude! Past time to let that crap go! He was an insufferable jerk to Sidney, and still so very hung up on Claire. That's not love, what they had was lust at best.
The epilogue, most probably cheered, I cringed.

Creo que la autora y yo todavía no hacemos click.
A pesar de que no es un libro malo al contrario la historia me gustó lo protagonista por el contrario me desesperaron Bastante.
Grayson la mayor parte del libro trata mal a Sidney por algo que ella no puede evitar, venir de una familia rica al igual que la ex de Grayson que por cierto lo abandonó junto con su hijo.
Y en todo el libro se lo echa en cara y lo peor de todo es que ella no tenía orgullo como para mandarlo a volar siempre se quedaba aunque la pisotearan será que yo no tengo vocación de alfombra.
Lo más rescatable es Luke el hijo del Grayson era adorable y un encanto, a parte me hacía mucho reír con sus ocurrencias por él le doy las 3 estrellas

I’m in love!
I absolutely loved Worth The Risk! What’s not to love? Hot, single Dad... Check. Cute kid...Check. Emotions going haywire... Check. Great characters ...Check and very hot scenes! It has everything that you could possibly want.
When Grayson’s ex left him and their son, he wrote women off. Determined not to get hurt again and protecting his son is his main purpose. Then she comes knocking and his whole world is turned upside down.
Going back to the small town where she grew up isn’t exactly what Sidney had in mind but when giving an opportunity to get the job she’s always wanted she has no choice. And to top it all off she doesn’t expect what she gets when she gets there.
These two are smoking hot together. Emotions are all over the place and yes I did shed some tears. I loved their interaction and the story was wonderful. This author always gives us her all and boy does it show. Her writing is phenomenal, you’ll definitely want to read this one.

Single hot dad, burned before, chip on his shoulder, smoldering hot...last name Malone. CHECK please. This installment had me swooning, sweltering, cheering, tossing my kindle, and possibly yelling at the characters to just SPEAK up and let each other know what is REAL and RIGHT in front of them. Frustrating, but not to the point of wanting to stop reading. The perfect frustration that keeps you totally connected to the story. Wanting two stubborn fools to fumble their way into a future they have both earned through experience. A family in the making as only K. Bromberg can deliver. And being able to peek into the lives of past hot ass Malones...always a bonus. Are there more brothers we don't know about, cousins, their kids can get stories. I need more...

Grayson Malone is the last of the Malone brothers we get up close and personal with and I have to say although I fell for Grant and Grady Malone hard, K. Bromberg has left the best to last with Worth the Risk. We find ourselves back in Sunnyville surrounded by the Malone family and all the engaging characters that live there. Grayson finds himself face to face with Sidney Thorton, someone who reminds him of another life and time he would rather forget. He's been hurt badly and has no intention of allowing Sidney into his or his son's life. Sidney is in Sunnyville to help manage the Modern Family Magazine's Hot Dad Contest and prove to her father she is capable of much more than he thinks she is. Fortunately for us Grayson's brothers have entered him into the contest without him knowing and the games begin. There's an instant attraction between these two and K. Bromberg works her magic with the 'slow burn' and then POW it's on for young and old. These two characters are so busy doing the right thing for everyone else that they aren't focused on their own happiness. Sometimes whats expected of you isn't going to make you happy and you have to ask yourself if taking a chance on love and stepping outside your comfort zone is worth the risk. I really loved the interaction between Grayson and his son, Luke. K. Bromberg has the knack of writing the dynamics of family life in such a way that you want to be part of that family. As always the emotion of the story is there and the characters have enough layers to keep us wanting to see them slowly stripped away. It's a wonderful read and this Malone brother has stolen my heart 100%
Grayson Malone is the last of the Malone brothers we get up close and personal with and I have to say although I fell for Grant and Grady Malone hard, K. Bromberg has left the best to last with Worth the Risk. We find ourselves back in Sunnyville surrounded by the Malone family and all the engaging characters that live there. A little disappointed in this installment from Bromberg. Not up-to-par for what she usually delivers. It's an okay read -- nothing new that you won't find around every corner. Luke played to my heart -- and he's the kiddo! He had the best lines and the biggest heart. Without him, I might have entitled this one "unworthy of the risk."
I just hate when you get a hot hero who just fizzles. My gosh -- Grayson supposed to be a super heroic saver of lives and the object of every woman in town's desires -- yet he's letting some rich former high school girlfriend turn him into a shriveled up prune. I never did completely understand whether or not he married Luke's mom or not. And the absentee mom flew the coop 8 years ago, but her vineyard owning wealthy family still lives in their small town -- yet in all that time none of them have come in contact with each other. Come on -- it's not even realistic.
Enter another female from his high school years -- another rich and spoiled girl just like the one before -- and Grayson is once again playing the wounded and mistreated fool. I wasn't impressed with our hero's game plan. And Sidney -- though a strong woman in many ways, certainly didn't live up to expectations either. She was a bit of a wimp and a game player, too.
I'm in the minority -- and that's okay. Bromberg has been a five-star read for me more times than not. You can't win them all!
