Beautiful words, instructions, prayers and paintings. This is a true Compendium. The appendix of Marian Prayers is extensive and useful!

There are two reasons why you might want to read this book:
1) you are a devout Catholic
2) you are interested in Catholicism (no matter your other spiritual leanings)
In the first case the books gives you some good affirmations, provides details about apparitions and other dogmas of marianology. In the second, it gives you a clear glimpse into why Mary is so important to Catholics. It is richly and beautifully illustrated and also lists some of the most common Marian prayers.
