When revenge turns into a fake engagement...

It was supposed to be a simple case of revenge: get to know King Tech owner and CEO Beckett King, learn his secrets, and ruin his life like he ruined my brother’s. But Beckett King offers me a deal I can't refuse.

Not only does he want me to pretend to be engaged to him, he needs to marry me to get his grandmother off his back. And at the end of the year, we can go our separate ways, only I’ll be a whole lot richer.

I won’t fall for his irresistible good looks, or that aw, shucks country-boy charm he still possesses from growing up on a ranch. I'm smarter than that. He has a lesson to learn and I'm the best one to teach him.

But that’s the tricky thing with revenge. It doesn’t always go as planned.

Secrets and Lies!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💚🖤💙❤️💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏🌎
Character development: ☺️😉😀

The heroine: Eva Chase - She had been stalking Beckett King and is now ready to go after revenge from him because he is the man that ruined her brother Adam’s life. Now Adam does nothing but veg out and play video games (a bit like my son). She decided to get a job with Beckett’s company and do whatever she could to destroy him as he destroyed her brother’s dream of launching an app.

The Hero: Bennett King - He comes from a wealthy ranching and oil family. Though he went his own way and now owns a successful gaming and app tech firm. His mother died years ago and she and her mother set up huge trust funds for Bennett and his three brothers that go away if they hit the age of thirty without being married for at least one year. He is the next to reach the age of 29 and his grandmother keeps sending him assistants who want to marry him.

The Story: Beckett gets his assistants through his grandmother who keeps sending women to him whenever he has an opening at his company, which is pretty often. The women quit after they find out that all he wants is an assistant not a wife. So when his most recent assistant quits, he hires a new one, and this time he proposes a deal that will help her and get his grandmother off his back.

Kelly Tager and Michael Gallagher did the narration on this one. The book was told in dual points of view via dual narration. Kelly has a soft, clear and feminine voice which is pleasing to listen to. Michael has a clear, intelligent sounding voice which matches the tech wizard, Beckett.

The supporting characters were great in this book and I liked Beckett’s entire family, though their prejudices against their enemies, the Cartwrights is deeply entrenched and a bit off the mark, at least for the daughter. Due to what happened to his mother, Beckett has some pretty entrenched prejudices as well against people who have made mistakes in the past and this is a problem for the relationship between him and Eva. This story was pretty good!

There were things that I liked about the story. I liked that Beckett was not a manhoe. I get so sick of reading about manhoes and thankfully he was not one. I also like that he and Eva were faithful to each other. No sex with OP after meeting.

I liked Eva. She was down to earth but not perfect. She was friendly and personable. She cared about other people's feelings and never acted like she above anyone else. (Unlike Beckett). I loved that Eva had a good sex life before Beckett. Yes, it was the best with Beckett which of course how I want it to be. However Eva stated that it was good with OM before she met him. She actually could orgasm with someone other than Beckett. She went against the stereotypical romance heroine who is either a virgin before meeting the hero or had mediocre sex before him and/or much worst, is sexually abused. Eva felt real.

I totally loved what her brother, Adam, did for her. Adam was Eva's real hero, not Beckett.

Beckett. For short period of time it puzzled me why I didn't like Beckett. I should have liked him as I really liked things about him. As stated above, he was not a manwhore. He was faithful to Eva (and visa versa) even during the 3 month separation. Not once did he think of screwing OW to forget about Eva, like too many heroes do. He was not a druggie and didn't drink to get drunk. All of these are very much positives to me because again, not into the bad boy heroes. He was protective of Eva and even a little possessive. However I would like him to have been a lot more possessive and even jealous and he wasn't. For example, one of his brothers saw Eva with very little clothes on and it didn't bother him at all.

I guess what really bothered me about Beckett is that he was judgmental prig and treated Eva poorly when he was mad at her. He quickly kicked Eva to the door when he found out how human she was, the woman he claimed to love not even hours before. He didn't really give her an opportunity to explain things to her. As she was leaving he told her to leave her engagement ring. Then he forgot to pay her what he owed her, knowing that she didn't have much money. On top of that he got her fired from a job she really needed. Did he apologize right away? Nope. It took him almost 3 months to manup and admit that he was wrong even though he was supposedly the good boy of the family.

Another issue I had with the story was that it dragged. I found myself losing interest. It is possible that I felt like that because I didn't like Beckett. Also I wasn't feel the sex scenes either, in part because there were too many stops and starts of they were going to have sex and then someone or something interrupts. When they finally went all of the way I was like whatever.

I will be reading Kate and Aiden's story if I read reviews that state Kate kicked his butt to the curb. The scenes with Aiden and Kate shows that Aiden needs it and the way he treats her Kate needs to be the one to deliver it to him.

I had the opportunity to read the first three books in the Oil Kings series back to back, and I am so glad I took advantage of that opportunity. I’ve only read a handful of books by this author but so far they have all been a pleasurable experience. I spent a weekend with these three Kings and I have zero regrets!

If you’ve read Gentry’s story, then you already know about the craziness and hoops the Kings have to jump thru for their inheritance. It’s not a new storyline for me as I read like 400 to 500 books year, so I’ve run into this a time or two. Even tho it’s not anything new, I still found this story refreshing and I think it’s mainly from the characters. Since I literally finished the first book mere hours before beginning this one, all the drama hoopla was fresh in my mind and I just needed to see what kind of new shenanigans the author could come up with for Beckett’s story.

I can’t say that I liked Beckett’s story as much as I did his father’s, but I still enjoyed the heck out of it. I liked Eva a lot and Beckett, of course, but Eva probably a bit more. Their story dragged a bit for me in some places, but I think that’s mainly because I just wanted to see how all the secrets would unfold and what would happen then. All in all, the story is believable and relatable and the characters are ones you’ll root for.

Sidebar: I'm still not impressed by these covers LOL. It's hard for me to reconcile the Beckett I read with what is supposed to be Beckett on this cover .. #help

This is the second book in the Oil Kings series. The relationship arc of Beckett & Eva is completed in the book. However other themes/events carry through the series and these are best enjoyed in order.

Fake Dating/Engagement & “Get Married Because the Will stipulates” were fun tropes in this one. With Grams trying to get Beck married ASAP and Eva trying to get revenge on him. When they bump onto each other, it leads to a job, fake engagement, and real feelings.

While things were kind of insta, I liked that Beckett & Eva talked a lot and spent time really getting to know one another. There’s a breakup, a make up, and I like that Beckett redeemed himself and showed real change. They really are a great couple.

Looking forward to Xander’s book next.

Narration:
This was my first time listening to Kelli Tager & Michael Gallagher and I really enjoyed both of their performances. They were each a great fit for their characters and gave seamless performances. I’ll definitely be listening to more from both of them.

This one was actually a lot better in my opinion than book one. I did enjoy the first one on Gentry King, but to now getting his son's POV's for the rest of the series will totally be interesting I think after this one.

Though they CAN be read as stand alone, it's MUCH BETTER if you read them in order so you're not confused to why the boys (except Gentry, the dad) is pressured to being married and whatnot. Especially looking at the last book's story in particular which I'm eager to get to. Even though I'm DYING to skip the next two books and save them for last, I'm going to refrain and do these in order haha. Now I can't wait to read/listen to Xander King's story and see what's in store for him.

I had one issue with this story but I will get to that later.

I am mad at myself for believing more of the reviews I saw than my experience reading King's Crown.

Somehow, Beckett is nothing like I was led to believe in book one and even Gentry isn't quite the father I believed him to be either. The only one we can count on to never change is Grams.

Beckett is so kind and loving and honest. The honesty in this novel was a positive for me. Because even while faking it, the characters were honest with each other and themselves.

As for Eva, I just love my fiery cat-loving pixie. She was a straight-shooter who dived into every situation without hesitation. I loved the way she cared about Adam and how she handled her relationship with Beck.

As for the one thing I didn't like, it was how quickly she forgave Beckett for his awful behaviour once he found out what she was hiding.

Coming from a good place or not, his declarations and promises made her deserve more than what she got that morning.

Meanwhile, I believe the real takeaway from this novel was how we all handle trauma differently.

We saw Adam, clinically depressed because of the cards life has dealt him and Beckett, who ensures not a thread is out of place because of seeing the result of his mother's fatal beating. The glue to all this was Eva. Who threw herself into helping anyone she could and cherishing everyone left in her life.

Watching the three work through their problems was written to keep you guessing but invested.

I enjoyed all the characters and even found myself wondering if Adam will get a novel.

I could breakdown everything I loved about this novel but all I can say is to get a copy and form your own opinions.

This is a story where you could say the past really formed what's happening now. Both Beckett and Eva had tragic pasts and the hoops he had to jump through to get his inheritance were crazy. Don't get me started on Gams! These two formed a fake relationship that included no cheating and honesty, however, things did hit the fan and everything went sideways. You can expect a fake relationship, a break up and a make up in this book but the journey for all that was twisted and had me invested in how things would go for them. I'm looking forward to diving into Xavier's story now :D

Very much enjoyed this story.

I really liked the main characters and I like how they interacted with each other. It wasn’t all ‘banter’ which some romance books can be, they conversed in quite a normal way and so it made their relationship seem quite believable.

Of course, you can see the third act break up coming throughout the whole book but it didn’t annoy me. It again, seemed quite plausible and realistic.

I really couldn’t put the book down. I pick this one up after reading a fairly heavy book and it was exactly what I needed. A fun, romantic book.

Eva may have started out with revenge in mind when it came to Beckett King but the more she gets to know him the more she falls for him. He refuses to see reason when it comes to criminals and with the secrets she's hiding she's afraid of how he will react when he finds out all of hers. Eva's and Becketts is a slow burn romance that flows nicely from narrators Kelli Tager and Michael Gallagher.

“Be my fake fiancee for four months. If we get along, be my fake wife for another year. We split the money in the end. Whaddya say?”

Gutted. GAH! Ok. Let’s get into it.

Beckett, determined to create a life outside his oil roots, has created a tech company and prides himself on honesty and doesn’t do business with criminals. In fact, he has a zero tolerance policy. No second chances.

Eva has a brother who dropped out of college to raise her and spent some time in jail for petty theft. When presented with funding for his app, the money, Beckett, backed out once his unsavory past showed up on a background check. Now, Eva wants to get revenge on Beckett, even though he’s never met her. There must be something hidden under his squeaky clean reputation!

Due to Beckett’s mother’s trust, all the children must marry before turning 30 and stay married for a year, otherwise the money goes towards the family’s enemy.

I give it 4.5 stars

I really liked this one better than the first book. Both characters were good. I liked Beck and he played a broody alpha pretty well and Eva really was good for him. Then I thought Eva and her brother Adam and what both did for ea other to help them stay afloat and the heartache they endured was amazing. A lot of hard lessons learned for all. This is a good series so far. Moving to the next one.

King’s Ransom is the second book in the Oil Kings Series, a story full of romance, secrets and second chances. Without a doubt a story that will leave you wanting for more.

Eva Chase has dealt with a lot in her life and she is at the point where she wants to do what she can to make things right for her brother, Adam. After his dream of launching an app was crushed, he succumbed to depression and their lives have not been the same. Eva has been working tirelessly to make ends meet and she can’t see her brother suffering while the man that did that to him keeps getting more attention/money. So she plans to get revenge by learning his dark secrets in order to humiliate and crush Beckett King. But she wasn’t expecting to get is a fake engagement from the very same man that hurt her brother. Now she has to play along for Beckett to receive his trust money and she’ll be able to get half of it as well. It will finally solve her problems, yet Eva wasn’t prepared to fall with the enemy. Now she’ll have to decide if she wants to keep going along with her plan for revenge or let herself be happy with the man that might just be falling for her as well.

Beckett Parshall King comes from a very wealthy family, but that didn’t stopped him from becoming a self-made millionaire and tech giant. He has the looks and money to get just about anyone he could possibly have, but he isn’t looking for love. He on a deadline to find the perfect fiancee that would agree to marry him for a year and when he sees Eva for the first time he knows that she would perfect for the job. She is the completely opposite of the woman he is used to seeing and he finds her personality refreshing. He can see her bringing her to his family home and letting everyone know that they are together. But it’s all the time that they spend together that he begins to have feelings for her. Everyone has their own secrets and he is about to find out who Eva really is.

I was really impressed with the story as a whole. Johnston did a great job making the characters relatable and believable. They both have such hard working personalities and they compliment each other very well. Eva is fierce and will do anything to protect those that she loves, even if it means pretending to be a fake fiancee to her enemy. On the other hand, Beck is ruthless when it comes to his job and he is very selective with the people he does business with and we get to know why he is like that in the book. While their chemistry if off the charts and we get lots of romance between them, they also need to let go of their pasts in order to move on. The ending was sweet, but I do wish the author could have added more details in the story as some of the scenes felt rushed. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series! I will highly recommend checking out King’s Ransom. ;)

FOR-A-FULL-REVIEW-VISIT

MY RATING: 3*
RELEASE DATE: March 2020
CLIFFHANGER: No

ARC was kindly provided for an honest review

If you’ve read book one of this series, then you’re already familiar with Beck and the decision that is facing him.

Having learnt from the mistake his older brother made and deciding not to be a disappointment to his father, like Aiden was, Beck decides to take a more honourable and honest route to meeting the terms of his trust. He lays all the cards out on the table from day one with a little pixie he finds standing at the door of his office building one morning.

As a self-made millionaire, Beck is weary of women. Forever uncertain if its his millions, or the billions of his family or him that they actually want. With no intentions of being married long term, he decides to enlist Eva’s help in achieving his goal, he is certain that faking a marriage is the best recourse to get what he needs and help Eva out.

Unbeknownst to him, Eva has her own agency. She is set out to hurt him in a quest for revenge for the state Beck’s rejection has had on her brother. None of them are prepared when they start catching feelings, because frankly, that wasn’t the plan.

For the life of me I never understand how women who are as broke as Eva is can think they can take on a millionaire or billionaire like Beck on any revenge quest and succeed. I mean everybody knows people with money always win. I mean even if she was successful at hurting him in any shape of form, the idea that the damage would be so great that it could be a financially crippling was just ridiculous.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed it enough that I can’t wait to read the next book. But I have to say at this point, all I want is Aiden’s book. With all the shit that’s been hinted so fair, it seems like it will be fire.

An enemies to lovers I suppose, only Beckett doesn’t realise Eva hates him and wants to ruin his reputation and company!

Beckett never wanted to go into the Oil business, nor did he see himself becoming a full time rancher.
Beck has a knack of spotting things people need and then creating apps or promoting those those created the apps.
And he’s become very successful.
So successful that he needs a PA, his last one just wanted to marry him and get hold of his inheritance!
And the one after that married his dad!

Eva wants to ruin Beckett King! He ruined her brothers reputation, and when companies pulled out of buying her brothers app, he spiralled into a depressive satiate that has Eva worried! So Beckett is going to feel all the pain and humiliation that Eva can bring down on him!
She just needs a reason to be in his office!

I have to admit I didn’t like this one as much as the first book, but it’s still a great read. I didn’t really get the same connection that I got with book one.

Beckett gives Eva a job after mistakenly thinking she’s come for an interview. There are sparks, there is banter and there is the interfering grandma in the background trying to pull strings and orchestrate a wedding!!

So you can read these books out of order, you don’t need to read them all. But there is an ongoing story in the background…..
Each King needs to be married to inherit a large amount of money. If they aren’t married then the money leaves the family! And grandma isn’t having any of that! So she’s harassing them to get married before they are thirty!

Beckett and Eva are getting on really well. There is a chemistry that they are both aware of, but Eva is trying to keep her distance. She’s not suppose to fall for her enemy, is she?
But lies have a habit of being found out. And when they do…..

Can Beckett forgive Eva for lying to him about her motives for getting to know him? And can Beckett give Eva another chance, when usually no one gets another chance with him?

Rating: 4 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oh wow, everything about this book had me like yes! ❤

Flirty, fun, fabulous..... three words to describe this wonderful offering from Marie Johnston.

I needed a book to reset my mind from the other dark books I've been reading lately, and this was the perfect one to do it! I was honored to be included for an ARC and I can't thank @everything_romance_blog and Marie for that!

The characters had me in the palm of their hands the entire time. 😍😍

I liked Eva. She is relatable with her own inner struggles and how she was portrayed, many of us could really feel what she was thinking and saying.

Now, to Mr. Beckett. I liked that he was not a manhoe. I got so tired of reading about that and thankfully he was not one. Beckett was everything I wanted him to be, down to Earth kind of guy that knew what he wanted and went for it, no beating around the bush, cutting to the chase, you know the drill. Dreamy? HELL YES.😍

Both characters are strong-willed. Eva is no push-over and doesn't easily give in when Beckett pushes. At some point it got pretty HAWT...! Because let me tell you when they were ready for the next step... the sex scenes... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 whew! On fire! Beckett is hot hot hot.

This was a great story that started off with a bang and dished out lots of laughs. I smiled throughout the entire story and couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this book. Go buy it! ❤

King's Ransom
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Story
🔥🔥🔥🔥Steamy
⚔For a romance that begins in revenge it really was a sweet love story! 💖
Beckett King, the second son of Gentry King, has got issues stemming from his mother's murder.
Eva Chase is heartbroken 💔 over her brother's depression after Beckett pulled the rug out from him.
The deal between Beckett and Eva was suppose to be simple. 💍💒Fake engagement and fake marriage.
Eva was in a position that she could use a good job and the payout after the divorce. So it should have been easy to keep her secrets and take the money and run. Maybe not the revenge she'd wanted because she realized pretty quick her drama was no match for the level Beckett was on.
💛She didn't know at the beginning Beckett really was as good as his reputation was. She never planned to fall in love with him.
🤱Beckett found his mom after her murder. We know from King's Crown the details of Sarah King's murder. They do give more details because her death is very tied up in Beckett's decision-making. He doesn't give second chances if you've been to jail, or done drugs. Not really open minded for the CEO of a tech company that designs and markets apps.
💖But love sometimes proves there is a way to forgive past hurts. I really loved the drama of secrets in this book and making Beckett deal with some reality of life. I'm a sucker for these types of stories 😍

ONE EXPLOSIVE ADVENTURE!!!
INTENSE! Marie hits the motherload with this beautifully composed spin, presenting one compelling storyline and engaging plot, mixing it up and laying it out, meshing this sparkling jewel together sleek, shiny and tight. A swirling vortex chocked-full of unbelievable circumstances and a slew of daunting mishaps, thrust those churning emotions into play, keeping you riveted and frozen to your seat. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, booting this slim jim into a raging tempest, blasting it into a hissy with a mind-blowing culmination. Twined, combined and interwoven, exposing the explosive ups and agonizing downs, grounding in it's strength and awe inspiring in it's depth. Cognizant of the instant realization and charged atmosphere, along with a bevy of enticing twists and thrilling turns, putting our characters through their paces, ratcheting up the heat and magic, drawing them closer than they could have ever envisioned. Intense attraction and chemistry sizzles, alluring and mesmerizing, grounding in it's strength and awe-inspiring in it's depth. The characters are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that transform into outstanding personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Fantastic job Marie, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

This book was sooooooo good. I really fell in love with Eva and Beckett. In this story we meet Eva and her brother, Adam. They both lost their parents very young and well Eva ended up in trouble and that meant Adam was also arrested. Now years later Adam came up with an app and was in discussions with Beckett's tech company to promote it when he pulled out because he learned Adam went to jail. Now Adam is very depressed, he barely eats or showers and just spends his time on the couch. So Eva decides to give Beckett a piece of her mind.... and thats how these two meet.

Beckett sees Eva and decides to hire her as his new assistant and pay her a ridiculous amount of money and then he asks her to marry him in a few months. He wants time to show his father he is in love but he has to be married for one year by his 30th birthday. Eva is desperate for money to save her brother and so she agrees but she never tells him who her brother is and about his and her murky past

What will Beckett do when he finds out?

Why is so opposed to hiring and working with former jailbirds?

Well you will have to read this book to find out. I absolutely adored it. We see alot more of the King family in this book and I loved seeing all my favorite characters from the first book and getting to know them more.

I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author so I can review this series and am voluntarily leaving a review.

King's Ransom
Oil Kings Bk 2
by Marie Johnston
Narrated by Kelli Tager & Michael Gallagher

Revenge. It's not always as sweet as expected. Eva has the chance to seek hers now as Beckett King has offered her an option. Marry him for a year, and walk away with 1/2 of his inheritance. This is her chance to get to know the man, and use all the secrets she can to get back at him for destroying her brother. But what these two don't expect is to have feelings, even before they get married! As they get to know each other, Eva is finding out just what this man is made of and though his views don't always match hers, her secret may be the one that breaks them apart. I love coming back to the Kings. Loved the first book in the series and now am enjoyed this one as well. We get to see Beckett's dad and new wife as well as his fun loving brothers. It's full of ribbing and family love, at least most of the time. Beckett and Eva are great to get to know, but I really loved Eva's brother Adam. We get to watch him evolve and it's incredible. Another great installment! Hope more are coming.

Michael Gallagher and Kelli Tager are our story tellers for this audio. I love this team! Gallagher lends his voice to Beckett. He is professional when he has to be, but I love how he is on the ranch. Relaxed and falling. Eva is a complicated character and Tager peels all her layers off. All the inflections lead to her conflicting feelings and it's magic. I loved the performance!

If you've read book one in the series, you're familiar with Beckett King, son of Gentry King and self-made billionaire. I can't say he was an agreeable character in the first book, but he comes around in this now. Now, if you're not familiar with the series, let me make a quick summary: four King boys need to get married and stay married for a year, in order to receive a certain sum of money. The matriarch, the grandmother is the one breathing down the guys' necks, while the father - Gentry - is hoping his sons find love, as well.

Beckett doesn't work for the family, he has his own tech company. And due to him having this tech company, he stumbles across the heroine, Eva, who's out for revenge because Beckett did her brother wrong. How and what, not going to say. However, things take a different turn and get a bit complicated, because of the pesky feelings. Thing is, we allll know fake engagements or marriages don't stay fake in romance novels. So was it predictable? Eh, a bit.

Thing is, I didn't like it as much as I did book one. It got confusing, at times, or maybe I wasn't invested as much in this story, I don't know. Fact is, I was more curious about the other brothers, than Beckett and Eva. The author didn't make them shine much.

So, it was okay, I guess but not rereading material, to me. Will I read the other books in the series? Sure, why not? We get hints of the possible couples, including an enemies to lovers - I adore that trope.

I voluntarily agreed to read an early copy, my rating is 3 - 3.5 stars.

Eva was a real person who saw the good in people despite their flaws. Loved her. Eva and her half-brother Adam lost their parents when Eva was young and her brother sacrificed a lot to raise her. Still getting over her grief at their loss, she fell in with a bad crowd and committed petty theft. Her brother Adam took the fall, ended up in prison, and when he pitched an app to Beckett King, the deal fell through because of his prison record. Now after meeting Beckett she has a chance for revenge against the person who threw her brother into a depressed state. But being his personal assistant and pretend fiancée, she learns he is a good person, but because of his past and the way his mother died, Beck he has no compassion and no empathy for what the lower classes have to deal with on a day to day basis. He doesn’t believe in giving second chances and is rigid in his dealings. No excuse for lying or committing any crime no matter how small. Now that they have fallen in love with each other she’s on borrowed time and needs to make the most of her time with him she can get. Because when Beck finds out Adam is her brother and that she really stole years ago he will throw her out of his life. Beckett destroyed her brother. Eva shows up at his office, intent on destroying him. Instead, he hires her as his assistant, and she's mulling over his offer to marry him. Fake, of course. So he can meet the terms of his mother's will and inherit $100M. Eva will get half when they divorce a year later. She just has to do it without falling in love. After meeting his family and spending time together, he wants her for real now. But she still has a secret, one that will destroy their fragile relationship. I loved getting to know Beck's brothers - Xander and Dawson are terrific, but Aiden needs an attitude adjustment. Beck has so many preconceived notions about people with problems in their past, stemming from his mother's death, but Eva eventually opens his eyes about that. He is a great guy, though. Eva is a "glass is half-full" person, looking for and finding the good in people, and she speaks honestly and from her heart, except for the part about her brother. She has a little attitude toward Beck initially, but realizes that he's just a guy with flaws. I had no idea how the author could top King's Crown, but she most certainly did just that. I'm very much looking forward to the next book.
