Not me shaking my iPad looking for the rest of the book because, ma'am, this was not enough! HER was a sweet friends to lovers story. Juke was not playin'. He said enough time has passed and he and Gin needed to get this love journey started ASAP. I didn't see the pull up to the chapel coming. I was just as surprised as Gin but, Juke took a leap of faith and it worked out in his favor. Gin didn't even question it because, she loved that man too. HER was a cute love story. Juke and Gin were perfect for each other and they more than deserved their HEA.

What a cute friends to lovers short! Juke and Gin had been friends since they were kids. Gin moved away for college and while they stayed in touch, they had lived their lives apart. Juke realized that no other woman compared to his Gin. We experience them moving Gin back to their hometown and on this trip their relationship shifts. It was spontaneous and cute.

This insta-story of Black Romance was so sweet. Told from the POV of the male character, Juke. Dis big fine thang, was sweet on a childhood boo, Gin. Y'allllll da way this man waited and loved on her, is absolutely everythang! Juke had a plan & my brother executed through every single page of this novelette. He conquered some serious fears to finally get his! He may not have been her first, but he most definitely made sure he'd be her LAST! Great short read!

A very cute friends to lovers. Juke was not playing this time around about Gin. He seen his chance and took it. I know that’s right. Been in love with that girl too. I loved how he loved every inch of her and let her know it too. Especially when she seemed to have some confidence issues. He boosted her up. Aww, why was this so cute? Juke and Gin were bffs. He was helping her move back to Cali after college, but he had other plans: to express his feelings to his girl and get his girl...And his girl he got.
This was super short and a nice introduction to this author since she's new to me. Looking forward to her other work.

When opportunity knocks...
All I have to say is when the opportunity presented itself Juke made sure he locked down his love. Gin and Juke had the kind of love a lot of people are looking for, one built on a
solid friendship. These two can say they married their best friend. The mere fact Juke caught a flight when he clearly had a fear of flying spoke volumes. He was willing to get to his best friend/lady by any means necessary and to make sure she was okay. He didn't know the extent of everything she was going through but he took the proper steps to get to Gin. He took control like a man should and was the solo driver from Georgia to California. He started to show his protector and provider characteristics on the road trip. Those characteristics let a lady know that he has the potential of being a good husband.
This is a short but it packs a lot in forty-plus pages. Ms. Keys it was genius to have the majority of the book during the road trip. Every state they went through to get back to California symbolized one more step closer to becoming one. I am a die-hard fan of BBW and the love they receive through words. The intimate scene where Juke is loving on all of Gin was my favorite. He made sure to show love to her whole body. I am a sucker for BBW characters, weddings, and babies 👶🏾. All of this takes place at some point in the book so I highly suggest this book. It is a quick read but well worth it. Grab a copy and enjoy.

This instalove story was everything. After spending years apart Juke & Gin turned their friendship into romance overnight. I throughly enjoyed my first read by this author. Looking forward to reading more of her work.

What a sweet story! I loved Juke! ❤ He was a man who was patient, knew what he wanted, and waited for the perfect time to go and get his woman! Juke and Gin were perfect together, and I am so glad they found their happy ending! Great short read! 👍👍👍

That’s right Juke finally got his girl after all these years. He knew he wanted her for years and waited his turn, not knowing if he would ever get it. But once he did he went all in and it paid off. He knew what he was doing asking her to go to Vegas, he already knew he wanted to marry her forget the dating etc. A man after what he know he wants and deserves and he was willing to put his heart out there letting Gin know that he was in love with her not knowing if she felt the same. Thank God Gin loved him to. Juke got it right Marry her, then make love to her, then move in together and make a family. Gin & Juke deserved their happily ever after.

I have attempted to stay away from shorts but when I saw that this was a release from one of my favorite authors I couldn't resist. I loved everything about Juke and his love for Gin. He flew from California to Georgia to bring the love of his life back home. The chemistry felt authentic and when they took a leap of faith in their love pursuit I rejoiced with them believing in its authenticity. Short but sweet.

Cute, short, friends to lovers read! This book was well written and worth reading. After being friends since teens, Gin left the state for school and she had not seen Juke for years. Although they hadn’t seen each other while she was in school, they remained friends. During this time they secretly loved each. Who would have thought that a friend helping another friend would end up being their happily ever after.

Ashantay Keys did not come to play! This short gave me everything while still wanting more at the same time. Juke and Gin were a good couple and the build up to them reconnecting kept me tuned in until the end.
Although this was a short it still gave everything needed with these two. We got to know both characters and their struggles apart before experiencing them together and that’s what I loved the most. I would definitely love to see more of this couple in future!

Juke and Gina have been best friends forever and when Gina decides to move back home, Juke feels its time to tell Gin how he really feels. During their drive cross country, Juke and Gin talk and realize they feel the same way and decides to take the big leap. Juke was a man of my dreams, big, strong, protective, respectful, God fearing and loveable. This was a beautiful story of friends to lovers that I'm glad I read!!!

This was a cute friends to lovers read. What makes it even better is that the feelings were mutual. I loved how Juke respected Gin enough to not cross any lines that she wasn't willing to cross. Although this was a short read, it covered how two friends embark on a journey of love and new beginnings.

Their story is filled with redemption and making up for lost time.
Gin's ex constantly ignored her, which led to self doubt.
All the while Juke was already in love, just waiting for the right moment.
