If, let's say, you ever want to vandalize someone's car (for whatever reason), don't leave your DNA all over the scene. Especially, don't smear your own menstrual blood. That's stupid AF.

"Sweet Obsession" is the story of Madeline and Garrick.
What should I say? In this guardian-ward, May-December sexfest between a couple obsessed with sex and the world against them- but not really? There's sex on almost every page.. and its a typical JS book.
I did lose some brain cells when the hero compared the vaginal orifices of skinny to curvy women. Oh well..

Maddie under different circumstances could have been Garrick’s daughter. Her mum Natalie had been the girl of his dreams, eighteen to his sixteen. She had been a sweet, quiet virgin that everyone loved and adored.
She was unassuming, with a beauty that made people, men and women alike, stop and take notice.
His growing fascination had only grown stronger when their families began matchmaking in their final year of high school. She’d transferred the year before, but he hadn’t really known her because they didn’t move in the same circles. Nat was a knockout.
Garrick was in the process of graduating early because of all the AP classes his mother had insisted on. At sixteen, he had enough credits for an associate’s degree.
He’d even given up his wild ways and settled down to make myself worthy of her, but that was before she made a decision that derailed their lives, especially hers. All he lost was a potential wife, but she’d lost so much more.
She’d suffered the indignity of drinking too much, guys who’d always found her stuck up had run a train on her. The news spread like wildfire before the morning. Although marriage was out of the question, Nat and himself remained friends. Three months later when she discovered she was pregnant and no idea of the father’s identity since it could’ve been any one of the five guys and no one was going to do a DNA test without a court order which Nat was vehemently opposed to…for some reason he was the one she called.
He’d moved on with his life, barely sparing her a thought. But when she rang, he was reminded of their friendship and that’s how he came to be the one there for her when she needed help.

At the pinnacle of passion Maddie calls him “Daddy” (that’s their kink).
His mother, the battle-axe, forcibly threatened her by attempting to remove her ring.
His deplorable ex, Rene, played on her vulnerabilities underscoring her being a burden to him. Livid that he married her and unaware that Maddie’s car in decked out with surveillance, she vandalises the car, publicly lifting the skirt of her sweater dress, pushing her fingers into her underwear. She removed her tampon and smeared it and anything else within reach with her menstrual blood before leaving her little deposit sitting in the crook of the handle of Maddie’s car. She then proceeded to key the car whilst cursing at Maddie.

This is a fantastic story about how time catch up with lovers with a age gap. She was his ward from a old girlfriend he grown up with both where is well-known, and well to do family. He raises up her daughter when she passed away. She turned out kindhearted, innocent, smart and loving.He wealthy handsome man and alpha commander in chief of staff and business and also his woman. You have to read to find out more about this couple and more.

Taboo romance between a billionaire and his ward. Some OW drama and family drama but mostly a lot of smut. I was entertained enough to finish this novel and while not the worst of Jordan Silver certainly not the best either. Be prepared for most of the novel to be descriptions of activities between the sheets.

Thought I had read this and reviewed before but I hadn’t, so there is mentions of “daddy kink” in it which is why it dropped a star, it would have lost more if it was more than an odd mention.
It has lots of sex, but a really good backstory and a couple of twists that I didn’t see coming. Will read again

Spicy and enjoyable
I would place this as a major 5 of 5 on the spice meter. Mmc was ott to an unsettling level. But that's how I love them! Mmc was sweet and kind very innocent. But over all I enjoyed the story and am looking forward to more from this author

This is another thrilling story that only Jordan can conjure up! I was drawn in from page one and held hostage until the last page. Garrick had a lot of spiteful women in his life, but Maddie was the only one that truly had his back. I loved that he stepped up for her mother who was his friend in spite of their family turning their back on her considering after what had happened.

This new novella from the author is an amalgam of previous stories and tropes. It will be most enjoyed by new readers of this queen of often OTT MF romance. No one will enjoy the part with the car vandalism. It was gross!! 🤢
