After reading most of this book, I'm just done. The book description seems like it's for the name brand but we got the knock off.
"He's going to breed me, but not until I've begged for it."
This is not true based on the events of the book. He did not get her to breed with her, he seemed to think he couldn't and he purposely got her to be a sex toy. And he definitely never waits for her to beg.
"I was supposed to be safe from the lottery. Set apart for a man who would treat me with dignity."
This is actually 1000 precent untrue at page 225. She thought she was in the lottery like a normal person and was enraged her dad set her aside for someone special.
"But as I'm probed and examined in the most intimate, shameful ways imaginable while the hulking alien king who just spanked me looks on approvingly, I know one thing for certain."
This is just a needless cliffhanger in a sentence.... Cause...
"This brute didn't end up with me by chance. He wanted me, so he found a way to take me."
He tells her that. She doesn't just "know it" cause he anal probes her. Oh and he does that to check for diseases. Guess the only diseases his people are susceptible to grow inside assholes and vaginas.
"He'll savor every blush as I stand bare and on display for him, every plea for mercy as he punishes my defiance, and every quivering climax as he slowly masters my virgin body."
He doesn't slowly master it. He makes her cum the first time he meets her.
"I'll be his before he even claims me."
That makes no sense.
There is so much attempt at mystery but it's all so poorly done that it's unenjoyable. There are so many ideosynchonies that make it just hard to stay immersed and even understand this world. I am pretty sure this book has the word apex more than any book I've ever read and the dude points out his three balls so many times trying to be unique but it comes off as just stupid. Why would he say three balls? It would just be balls, not specifically 3 as it it was special to him. It's not. It's what his species has! Then some alien doctor says "we have xxx earth days" okay and why would an alien on an alien planet use earth days? How many days have you been reading this book? 5 Mars days. 🙄 It's especially worse when that race of people HATE humans but yeah they use their clocks and calendars. Gotta schedule around Christmas, ya know?
The plot is slow, the characters feel paper thin, and overall it's just boring.

It was okay. It’s not as dark as it’s made out to be because there is love. Now the sex and punishments are rough but he doesn’t make her the sex slave that he says. Her love changes him to be a good leader. Ahhhhh how sweet

Not worth your time or money hard pass
This book was a Contradiction first Sasha says the warlord was so sexy and describes how beautiful his blue skin is the next chapter he's a monster with blue skin and she's repulsed by his touch. Then Sasha all boo hoo I'm saddened that I was picked in a lottery she signed up for what. The writing is ridiculous and low grade I couldn't get past chapter 5. The only thing this book has going for it is the nice cover.

Well, this time the characters shouted a little too loudly and often when it came to solving a few challenges and problems of their time on their way to the happy end. Well, their interactions were not quiet and calm at all, rather stormy, demanding and a bit insatiable.
Another perfect journey into another world, sweeping and at times delicate and sinister on which the author has hospitably and skilfully taken us. Great!

Gosh i just loved this story, its dark hot and a few twist and turns that one dosnt see coming. ( i just love those sort of twists).
Sasha was the daughter of the president, but no one knew as she went by another last name. All she wanted to do was to teach children, but she was warned? by another fellow teacher that the lottery was rigged. But before she processed this she was taken off the streets and given to the king of the dragonians.
Krakar saw what he wanted and took it, the lotto list is for anyone to bid on but this young lady was on the special list.... he saw her he took her. She was his to be his queen, but before that he couldnt be like his dad he had to make things right and try not to bring on a outright war.
This story certainly grips you and wraps you in its tentacles while you read. Twists and turns make this out to be a very exciting story indeed and if your a fan of Piper Stones then you really dont want to miss out on this. It isnt a mafia story but its still dark delicious and definitely engaging.

Clear the air
Oh my goodness! I absolutely loved this book! The characters really were fantastic and there were so many layers to the story that it kept getting better and better. I love how the author took the time to flesh out the characters, it really vested me in the story and I felt my impressions change as the real characters were revealed. And I love how the King’s goal changed as his heart opened up. The HEA at the end was one I didn’t think I would see, but was that much more amazing because of it. This book was perfect for the weekend and I can’t wait to read what the author thinks up next.

Sasha was a school teacher, a job he loved dearly until the night she was snatched
Sasha had worked hard as a school teacher but it was a job she valued and she enjoyed working with her young charges, she had deferred herself from her father at his request even not using his surname in case it made her a target as he was so high up the chain of politics,
The night he contacted her out of the bluer and insisted that she had to call and see him she had thought at the time was strange but never could she have foreseen what would come of it. Picked up and then she had been knocked out by the authorities she had woken up on an alien space ship not knowing what was in fact going on.
Krakar was the king of his planet and also the warlord and was doing everything he could to keep his planet safe but when he saw the human the draw too her had been something special and he knew that there was so much more to her that initially thought.
He had decided she would be his Pet and he had known that she had been hiding something but never could he have imagined who her father was and the fact that the details they believed about earth had been such blatant lies, their planet had been in a bad shape as his own. Totally polluted and there was not enough food or clean water, all the lies they green fields and clean air and healthy children was nothing but a complete lie.
As the story continues to mature and the main characters interactions grow it is impossible to put the book down until the book is finished and you discover the final outcome.

If you love Sci-fi with aliens and dominant alpha sized sex with spankings, punishments and pain then this will have everything you need. It was action packed, suspensefilled with conflicts, turmoil, death, war, struggling planets, arrogant Kings, a questionable lottery for earth women over eighteen to be sold to the Galactic Coalition between earth and other planets. What only a few knew was there was a separate list of women from the rich and powerful families. Those women were only seen by a select group to be purchased for money and power.
Krakar the warlord and King of Dragonia wasn't supposed to be able to access that list but when he does he wants a woman named Sasha for his pet. His second in command and best friend Rykane warns him it's against the rules and there will be dire consequences if he kidnaps her. That doesn't stop him from ordering the kidnapping. Krakar is the new king of Dragonia and his planet is dying. He’s one angry, arrogant, savage, unpredictable and demanding male. And I really enjoyed his possessiveness and dominance. Krakar might be heartless and cruel, but there was also a surprising tenderness in him. I really loved him!
Sasha is a teacher who wants to be free to live her life her own way. She’s very kind and compassionate. And I really loved how resilient, feisty, courageous and opinionated she was. She’s awesome!
Everything that happened between Krakar and Sasha was quite intense. She didn’t want to be a possession of some alien beast. And Krakar didn’t want a mate or a queen, just a pet. But from the moment they met, their chemistry was explosive and the passion they shared was dark, intense and scorching hot. And I really liked how much both changed and grew throughout the story.
In addition, the worldbuilding and storyline were quite intriguing. The United Earth Alliance’s lottery system is not what it seems and there are so many secrets and corruption. Even more, the suspense kept me glued to the pages till the end.
Overall, the story is a fantastic dark read filled with action, twists, drama, secrets, lust, conflicts, scorching hot romance and great characters.

We could ALL use some Krakar!

Krakar, Warrior King of Dragonia was bored, cranky and quite frankly, tired of being alone. He decided he needed a “pet”. A very special kind of “pet”. So he took a forbidden peek into the bridal lottery files and went “shopping”. One look at Sasha Wentworth’s file was all it took. He wanted her for his “pet”, so he took her, and he’s not about to give her back! Captor is a brilliant, action packed, forbidden, erotic science fiction story with clever intriguing characters and everything else you could ask for! Beautifully written, edge of your seat suspense, action, betrayal, and omg the passion! This one is as hot as the sun and definitely not tame in any way shape or form! Fans, cool drinks and head phones absolutely required! What I absolutely loved about this one, in addition to the fabulous narration, was the way that both Krakar and Sasha grew and changed as the story developed. It was such a joy to listen as they learned that together they were stronger than either could every be alone! I can’t go into details, that would be playing spoiler, but it truly made this one heartwarming and very, very special! What also made this story special was the narration! Easy to follow, easy to understand and an absolute pleasure to the ear! A five star experience all around and I loved it!

I'm always excited to get the opportunity to review an dark Alpha-alien read by the author. They are one of my fav tropes by P. Stone. Very few can do a dominate, growly alien like she can. I honestly have come to realize that with her way with words, as long as the alien is at least humaniod-like, I'm just like her FMC -- crazy for dominating vibes.
I like that this one has the twist at the beginning, in that she was sold, beaten, and betrayed by humans and saved by an alien (though it takes her awhile to come to terms with that). Oh the delicious torture and heat that builds a continues to deny, deny, deny what her body keeps screaming and panting yes, Yes, YES!!
MMC always get'em in the end after a lot painfully pleasurable torture. It's a lot of work, but somehow this alien is willing to do it for the betterment of his little pet. What was meant at teaching this little human female a lesson on who owns her and how grateful she should be he saved her, may turn into something more. A lesson that below all the passion and fire burns the ember of something that neither wanted when this ordeal first began - the beginnings of love. 3 1/2 Stars.......This book was a bit of a mixed bag for me. Earth has made an agreement with other species to conduct a lottery of all human women to become mates. But, there is an off-limits list of women that have powerful or wealth families that are not in the general lottery. Sasha is on that list unbeknownst to her, but is kidnaped to be the slave/pet for Krakar, a human hating Alpha warlord and king. He is determined to use, subjugate, and break her to be his pet/slave. But along the way, sizzling chemistry, understanding of each other's POV, and discovering Sasha's secret, will either destroy them or bring them closer together. There was a lot to like about the book. There is chemistry, steam, action, drama, twists, and more. But it was way too long for what was conveyed in the story. The author goes over emotions again, and again, and again...too much for me. I got it the first 10 times. But once you get past the repetitive stuff, thee's a decent read. And, with Kindle Unlimited, a free read.

Pleasure in pain. Krakar, a brutal dominant Alpha warlord and king, has taken Sasha from Earth to be his pet and slave, even though she's supposed to be 'safe' on the restricted list for the lottery. He intends to break her until she submits to him, but Sasha is strong feisty and not going to give in readily. There is a lot of hot sexy potent action, including spanking, a tiny bit of medical play, whipping, a little dub con (start), and a lot of pleasure enhanced by pain. As their relationship is growing into something more - Krakar will have to decide if she is more than a pet and slave, or if he may have to give her up to save his people/planet. It's an intense somewhat dark relationship but still a pleasurable read.

“It’s the quiet ones who are the worst.”
I love Piper Stone. Period. She always writes hot enjoyable books with sexy alpha males, interesting females and exciting stories. Lately she’s been focusing on shifters, mafia and billionaires and I was super excited to find the newest was an alien romance. I was not disappointed. Krakar and Sasha we’re great and I loved seeing their relationship develop and grow. I didn’t want it to end! I hope she doesn’t wait as long to write another as now I’m craving more. So good!!
If you like alien romance this is the book for you. If you like Piper and haven’t read one of her sci-fi romances this is a great one to start with. I highly recommend it!.

A good Sci-fi romance
It’s a good story and world building for this book, Captor. There is a new king named Krakar who has to make some choices that he doesn’t want to make. He just wants to save his people and his planet. But, there are duties that he has to complete. He doesn’t want a queen or partner, he wants a pet at his side preferably meek and mild. Somehow he gets ahold of the restricted female list for the lottery. He doesn’t really see anyone special until he she’s Sasha, the school teacher. She calls to him. He watches her video and thinks she is right for his pet. King Krakar just has no inkling for how wrong he is about Sasha. Just and FYI, there is domestic discipline and spankings in this story. Read On!

Potential but confusing
I liked certain elements of the book, such as some of the scenes between hero & heroine and the king’s somewhat erratic learning curve. With major editing I think the book could have been very good. BUT the characters and the plot are inconsistent to the point at least a third makes nothing sense at all. There are a couple of points in the book were it seemed like there had to be a missing chapter. It felt like the author had storyboarded the plot, wrote some scenes about it, but never made sure it made sense that the story proceeded logically, and instead just forced some scenes out of characters to make sure that point A made it th point C, and who knows what happened to point B.

Good but,
It was a good read. I always enjoy PS books. But I really dislike Sasha. There are times when she seems to have multiple personalities. She acts like a petulant child most of the time. She's too good to participate in the lottery like every other single woman on earth must. She treats Krakar horribly. She calls him a beast, a savage, and a monster, but he never harms her like the humans have. She rails against him. Every time he is vulnerable to her, she strikes and then complains when he withdraws, calling him cold and unfeeling. She really has no redeeming qualities. Sorry for the rant. It was a good read. I always enjoy PS books. But I really dislike Sasha. There are times when she seems to have multiple personalities. She acts like a petulant child most of the time. She's too good to participate in the lottery like every other single woman on earth must. She treats Krakar horribly. She calls him a beast, a savage, and a monster, but he never harms her like the humans have. She rails against him. Every time he is vulnerable to her, she strikes and then complains when he withdraws, calling him cold and unfeeling. She really has no redeeming qualities. Sorry for the rant. I tried to finish, I really did. The narration by Skyler Morgan was great but the story was so tedious: shallow plot and even shallower characters, repititious, contradictory, with sex, violence, brutality and pain trying to be erotic and failing miserable. A whole quagmire to wade through and I simply don't have the need or time for such banal titillation when there are so many excellent other books out there on my to be read list.
Two stars overall for a narration well performed.

Whoa.... too hot to stop reading this erotic alien romance. Never really attempted reading one of these Alien romances but came across the synopsis and well to be honest I was intrigued by the mention of the most evasive medical procedure, so thought lets see how truly sensuous could this be! From that moment I was left wanting more. Our Alpha Alien sure does have the equipment and knowledge at how to truly ignite the powers of orgasmic lust, it seems. As well as the sensuous aspect of the story there is also enough action and mayhem of typical alien warfare to keep the reader entertained. Interesting characters and enough sexual tensions to really entertain.

Galactic Coalition is where the human lottery King Krakar wanted a human to be with to take back home to Dragonian. Sasha was in a different lottery, and then she met King Krakar it was hot. . This is one book that is hard to put down. There are some instances that I can't believe the hero's actions. He is like a petulant child striking back to those who did not pleased him. But the hero at the start and and at the end of the story are different. Changed by the love for a woman he did not know he will love.

Only Piper Stone could take the Sci-Fi romance genre and turn it on its ear like this. Her trademark touches are all there, like the (almost) irredeemable Hero, the feisty and won't give up heroine, the spankings and rough scenes, just like I love them. It even has a guaranteed HEA! Here though, we get alien anatomy descriptions and other scenes that are kindle melting. I've enjoyed every one of her novels that I've read, even calling a few my favorites. This one may top them all. I give it five stars only because six is off the table.
This is not to be missed.

Gorgeous sexy blue alien dude! Several planets are aligned in a coalition. One of the conditions of the coalition is that human women are chosen by lottery to be exchanged with the other alien species. Sasha has no wish to leave Earth but her number is chosen and off she goes, unwilling and rebellious. Krakar, king of Dragonia, feels lust for her but denies any deeper feelings. But their sex is undeniably passionate. There is lots of sex, most of it rather rough and sometimes brutal. I enjoyed the interaction between species and Krakar's development as a good leader and affectionate lover. Very good read.

Oh the narration of Mr Silky voice Skyler Morgan, very smooth and brings out the heat. A joy to listen too

Will secrets and lies change everything or is Krakar smart enough to win the war and the girl. This is one hot and heavy alien/ human romance. Piper writes some awesome hot books each with a different story lines and characters. Trigger warning there is alot of hot loving going on and bad girls get spanked. I recommend this book.

Krakar is brutal but with an extreme protective streak. Despite taking Sasha as a pet, she is clearly his to cherish and he will ensure no harm comes to her. However, there will be no room for disobedience. Sasha by nature is strong willed so submitting to Krakar’s dominance is not easy. While the story is based on Krakar’s selection of a pet, there is lot of twists when secrets are revealed, planets are at risk and everything is complicated by unexpected love. . Loving an enemy 4 ½ stars. - Sasha consented to being added to the Galactic Coalition lottery system. What she didn’t know is how she was placed in a separate and rigged lottery. She ended up with Krakar who at first was training her to be his pet. Eventually, Krakar realized Sasha’s value to the coalition but will her value to him affect the decision he will make for his dying race and planet? This enemies to lovers romance has a good plot and some twists. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

When I started the first chapter I was very skeptical. I wasn’t sure what to make of it. But I kept reading and reading and omg I couldn’t stop. I kept thinking why oh why can’t I be that lucky!?!?!? Not so much for a lottery to come up for me to be taken by a brutal, hot, gorgeous alien like Draker. Wait yeah I am. Sasha is a fighter and they are a formidable pair. This was a good story. I could actually visualize everything. Yeah. Really really good book. Too bad there isn’t more to the story. I didn’t want it to end.

This book had me wanting to smack Krakar to loving him, yet there’s place that when one thing is happening then all of a sudden it’s something different, regardless I am glad in the end that Krakar was able to understand love and came to love Sasha in the end. While she was able to eventually forgive everything that Krakar and her father did to her.
