Come transport yourself to Martha's Vineyard: an island of vivid blue ocean, white sand, and a lively community of locals, who celebrate everything from the bright New England summers to the cold, yet cozy, snowcapped winters.
So as I look on Goodreads it says this is the sixth and final book but according to a list online I found it is book two. Wherever it falls it was good. I love the direction it went. Without love and family what do we really have?
Mackinac Sunsets is the 6th and final book in the series, Secrets of Mackinac Island by Katie Winters and what a great way to tie up all the loose ends.
We see Elisa Darby finding out that she is the biological daughter of Dean’s from his affair with her mother and now has they family she always wished for. Gets word her manuscript sold, falls more deeply in love with Wayne and finally opens up to her children and best friends all that had happened while she has been on Mackinac Island! Such a well written series!!
I couldn't put this book down! What a beautiful tale of love of family! So easy to read and fall in love with the closeness of family.
The writer has an amazing talent; characterization, is excellant; and she pulls you in right away!A must read for anyone. Cannot wait to read more of her work!
Be still my heart...Book 6 is absolutely the best possible final book in the series! I laughed; I cried; I did both at the same time. You absolutely must read this series and take the journey with Elise Darby as she seeks the truth about her mother’s past and Elise’s own future. Grab all 6 books today! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and absolutely loved it!) ❤️❤️❤️
Katie finished up this series with this one ... She tied it up nicely with lots of love, new friends, family, and of course Mackinac Island. I've enjoyed this series and wouldn't mind revisiting Mackinac Island again sometime.
This book was just as was the first book in the series.
I really like this author. This is only the second book that I've read by her but I plan to read many more. I'm a Michigander and have spent plenty of time on Mackinac Island so the setting of this book series is particularly fun for me. The author has done a great job of capturing the feeling of Northern Michigan. I can't wait to read the next book.
this is the absolute best way to end this series! I loved reading about Elise and this book put everything together. Her California family and her new Island family. I can't wait to read more by this author! this was just a beautiful series. would love a stand alone book to see how her screen play turns out!
I was gifted an ARC of this book for a fair/honest review.
This series is another winner in my mind. It had intrigue, mystery and love stories in it. The whole story is about Elise Darby and her challenges in life. A lot of challenges to be sure. If this series sounds intriguing to you, sit back and enjoy this wonderful story.
Liked this book in the series the best That's because all the ?? one has are answered. Great storyline throughout. Main character changed to being cruel toward someone who cared for her and didn't like the abrupt change. Why not combine all of these novellas into one book?
Typical Katie Winters, chick lit, light and enjoyable
I'm enjoying this series. I loved Mackinac Island when I vacationed there years ago, so its great to read about it. Parts of the story seem to not be Katie's writing style, I wonder if she contracted this book out to a different author. Even still, I enjoyed the story for the most part.
This was a wonderful book filled with surprise, fear and hope. It moves back in forth from the past to the present. I read it non stop because the characters were so compelling and so real. I truly lovely story of family and love.
I liked this series. Since I have been t Mackinac Island, they were fun to read. Another series that I read all books back to back. I also love Kindle Unlimited because I can try new authors (to me) for free and continue then to buy their books

What a story! Full of love, decisions, adventure and solace! The characters carried the story through problems, solving some others not but always joyful fun emerged!
Books 1 & 2 of this series have had me reading most if last night & today. The plots are excellent, locations are wonderfully described and the characters are so real it feels as if you know them. I am buying book 3 now!!
