The nineteenth book in the tremendously popular “ United States Marshal” series has arrived!
Jake Timber, U.S. marshal, retired, has spent the last year working on the Circle R ranch in Wyoming. While on his way to Cheyenne for ranch business, he has a run-in with a bunch of renegade deputies, who are under the command of Tug Atwater, former sheriff of Cheyenne. Timber is shot, captured, and taken to Atwater’s ranch, which is nothing more than a labor camp. In order to survive, Timber is forced to use his steel resolve and wits when he finds himself on the wrong side of the badge.
Short, but sweet, as Timber once again proves his grit when push comes to shove! Great job!
Definitely another five star masterpiece by one of my most favorite authors, as this compelling western masterpiece is easy to follow and the compassionate camaraderie of those involved is definitely worthy of your undivided attention from beginning to end! Outstanding storylines, although Timber gets in a "pickle" when he tries things by himself. Too, once again, the Author's outstanding character selections could not have been any better portrayed throughout the entire series of unending exciting, and definitely heartwarming, series of compelling western folklore masterpiece! Most definitely recommend this compassionately motivated story to everyone! Yes! Even you non-western enthusiasts will find yourselves completely captivated by this compelling series of one exciting episode after the other! I know you western addicted people will certainly be appeased with this compassionately outstanding series of unending exciting adventures!!!😃
50 more books to go in the Timber series. is he going to make it? My word, he’s obeen shot many times, slashed and stabbed, and now he has had 10 lashes from a bull whip on his back plus his lung nicked. This is unreal. I don’t think he can last. Sheriff Atwater has gone bad. He is capturing good and bad men to be prisoners to work as free laborers on his ranch.
Another interesting chapter in the continuing saga of Jake Timber's life. I enjoy the way the books each run conecting to the previous book extending the fast paced action adventures. I guess you can see that I've become a fan.
