A tree’s branches cannot reach Heaven unless its roots also touch Hell…

The Four Horsemen are hunting the most deadly and elusive of fugitives—the White Rose.

Despite being wanted and on the run, Callie has no intention of hiding from the angelic fallout that now plagues Kansas City. Never. Master Dracula will stand as a nightmarish specter against the forces of Heaven, Hell, the nephilim, and the Vatican Conclave.

But nothing is as simple as it seems in this war.

Because betrayal hides behind every ally’s smile, and compassion stands behind every execution. Virtue and compassion, monsters and sheep, victors and victims—all two sides of the same coin. As they say, it is a mother bear’s compassion that gets you eaten.

Callie must cross lines she never wanted to cross, and heed the darkest whispers in her mind if she wants to survive what is to come. If she wants her people to survive what is to come. She must evolve and adapt into something darker, something scarier, something nobly cruel.

A symbol to be revered with fearful adoration.

The Horsewoman of Despair is about to flick the first domino of the Omega War.

Thunder and Terror will herald the End, and a true monster will wield the infamous fiery blades with a smile of silver fangs and a pair of glowing white eyes.

Some monsters are born…

Others are made.

Non Serviam is the battlecry of the damned…and the exalted.

☆ANGEL DUST☆SHAYNE SILVERS☆ Book 11

SHAYNE SILVES SENSATIONAL SLAYING COUP DE GRACE!!!

HOLY HORSEWOMAN OF HEAVEN, HELL, EARTH, PARADISE LOST, AND LIFE & DEATH!

Shayne Silvers is a master at his craft, I swear this bloke did a deal at the crossroads with a demon & sold his soul. LOL! Everything he touches turns to GOLD! The story, the characters, the world-building, Shayne takes you on a journey, out of the pages of a simple book And for me, this is something special. It allows me an escapism from my injured & disabled body & 4 walls. I get to step into the role of each character, skin walking & I get to do things my physical body never could. I see it all in my mind playing out like we see a movie on the silver screen!

The characters are relatable, honest & have grown & developed over time. Callie did not start as an all-powerful all-knowing Ass-kicking Wizard, oh no, she had to work for it, she had to train & she made many mistakes along the way & was flawed. Actually, I didn't fall instantly in love with Ms Penrose it took a few books. But now, she's one of my all-time favourite female characters.

The world-building is so detailed & descriptive, like I said I see it so clearly, it's like I see the book in my head projected like a movie on the silver screen & not every author can do this. This is something reserved for a select few, those with a true calling, the truly gifted.

Hunted and in Hiding, Callie Penrose has almost everyone & every side coming for her including The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse who have declared her a criminal, Agents of Heaven & Hell, The Seven Deadly Sins, The Archangels, The Conclave, The Shepards & The Vatican.

Master Dracula doesn't know who to trust when Friends become Foes, Foes become Friends & both become Frenemies, but if their not all careful the woman with more Titles than Members of the Royal House of Windsor might just strike them all down & rain the skies with ash, blood, feathers & bone!

Ashes to Ashes,
Dust to Dust,
They All Rain Down...
Will Her enemies reap what they sow?
Will she catch them in her trap of vines?
With Thunder & Terror, Claws & Fangs of Silver & her Katana & Martial Arts training plus her Wizard Magic at her disposal & her Horseman Mask & powers on the fritz will this might be enough to sustain Callie with the uphill battle she's facing against the Might of Power no one individual has faced before, so can the Justice & Punishment of The White Rose prevail in Angel Dust?

With the ultimate ending to end all endings, this book is going to blow your mind & shatter your soul!

Shayne Silvers while I love you, I now hate you for that ending, you, you jerk, LOL! How could you?😋

While I loved this book, I didn't find it quite up to the usual standard of gut-busting laughing out loud moments that my favourite male American fantasy author is known for, there are some, that cracked me up, but this story is a continuation, and is more on the serious side. But that's ok too, it's just a tad different.

But Wow, it did have some really out there & unique battle & fight scenes! Without spoilers, there are some heart-stopping moments in an orphanage.😉

Seriously Shayneo, what goes on inside that head of yours is scary, & the frequency the ideas are pumped out shows the dedication to your craft & fans (you are releasing 10 books this year alone) & the freshness required, my hat is off to thee, all hail the King, our Maestro!!!  How he comes up with this stuff so often, & so well I just don't know & to do it in 4 series, WOW!

I hail thee on bended knee, with my arms fanning up & down with palms flat to the floor my man!

This book while shorter in length than his usual epic tomes is a two-parter so it's over 90+ chapters in total length between books 10 & 11 and while it didn't have as much of all the crazy high dramatic action as the last book, this is the lead-in or the 'flick of the domino' that starts that epic battle to begin it all.
I think maybe Callie's played her part as the Catalyst, but could be wrong, (with Shayne Silvers, one never knows) & the other's still have their parts to play as the Catalysts too.

Regardless of what happened, what didn't, the length of the book and the delay of the release being put back by a month (something which this author has only ever done once before in over 30+ releases) it was all worth it! I loved every damn second of it & WOW that ending OMG, IT BLEW MY FREAKING MIND!!! The tears were welling, the lump in my throat was not only the size of Uluru, but the Grand Canyon jumped on top of it making it impossible to swallow & it made my head spin like

Reagan's in the movie The Exorcist but I won't write anymore because I just can't leave spoilers I don't want to ruin this for anybody.

Shocked & Heartbroken.

I know the author Shayne Silvers is celebrating tonight, clinking glasses & raising toasts of self-congratulations to himself of McCallan & dining on many readers tears tonight🥃

Who'll survive and who'll perish as blood, bone, horn, feather, wing, halo, ash and dust settle at our feet.
So When All Is Said and Done...

I RATE ANGEL DUST 5⭐ OUT 5⭐

I don't know how this series just keeps improving, there's never a dud or dull book, they just get better and better and surpass the last!

I recommend Shayne Silvers, this book and Feathers and Fire Series.
Run out and buy it today on ebook, paperback, hardback & audio.

Nicole Poole does a fantastic job on audio, you won't be disappointed, although Angel Dust isn't available on audio just yet, but will be soon.

I received an ARC & bought a copy of this book from Amazon & this is my fair, honest, impartial review as always.

Well, another book read from this author that’s left me speechless. Callie is knee-deep in you-know-what, and she’s trying to find a way to make things better, or at least turn them in her favor. She unexpected turns to an ally I was really surprised about, but I really shouldn’t have been surprised; the author loves to surprise us. And, speaking of surprises, the end one just threw me for a very serious loop. W.T.H.??? I want to now see events from Nate’s point of view because things are getting hot in here. Just when I think I know what’s coming, I’m turned around 180. Give this a try; you know you want to. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Five Stars is no surprise to anyone...

I constantly think this author cannot possibly top himself...and I am constantly wrong. Inevitably, it is his Callie Penrose books that rise to the top above all the rest, even if this started as Nate Temple's Universe.

And this one stands above ALL the others. It is worth reading through every previous Nate, Quinn & Callie book JUST for the privilege of getting to read THIS book. You'd best get started...the first domino has fallen, and you want to have a good seat when the whole of Creation comes tumbling down.

Kansas has gone to hell, heaven and …..

Un- like anything I’ve ever read before the horsemen of the apocalypse keep trying to get their meeting with the white rose. Every one else is just trying to kill her she’s trying to keep her promise to envy but apparently her boyfriend just doesn’t communicate well and of course an orphanage isn’t just an orphanage in Kansas either oh and lucky finally realizes just who/what he is please hurry with the next book or series in this insane templeverse

Ok, what just happened here?

The chaos that has become Callie Penrose’s way of life lately ramps up yet again as angels and demons continue their war in Kansas City. Many of the angels don’t act very angelic. And some of the demons don’t act all that demonic – or do they?

Every time Callie thinks she has part of it under control, something else goes off the rails.

And then there’s that ending – what ‘s up with that?

White Rose + Horseman +Angel = 1 Great Leading Lady

Damn it Shayne!
You've done it again. I wonderful masterpiece of words to enthrall the reader. Yes the same love for these characters that started 11 books ago. Team Callie for the win?
Similar to Dune, there are plans within plans within plans that keep us on our toes and our minds and imagination engaged!

Mass confusion and more questions on top of all the unanswered questions from the last ……hmmm….however many books(another question) but girl is a force to be reckoned with by herself but when she allies herself with ….whoever is right (or wrong depending on viewpoint)at the time then that force blows to biblical ( heh) proportions and all kinds of H breaks loose. If they ever make movie(s) definitely need to use Volbeat’s Heaven Nor Hell for theme.

Templeverse continues to grow in a myriad of twists and turns. As usual Shayne Sylvers manages to create an amazing world that is sublime for any fan of fantasy fiction. The characters are so believable and the wit and humour bring a lightness to what ultimately could mean the end of days. Brilliantly crafted work comparable with Terry Pratchett with worlds that interlink and collide. I recommend that the Templeverse books be read in order to fully appreciate the world in which we find ourselves.
I look forward to the next encounter.

Callie is an expert juggler.

She has so many balls in the air that I wonder how she manages to keep them all afloat. This story is gruesome in many aspects but Silvers provides us with enough reasons to keep reading.

Shell shocked

Well, I don't really know how to leave a spoiler free review for this one! I mean some epic stuff happened!!! And I feel pretty unsettled! I got half way through this book and the thought hit me: "Callie is no longer the girl we met in Unchained" yes yes! I know ofcourse she isn't! We are 11 books into a serious! ... ofcourse she has changed... but holy hell she has she CHANGED!! And the events of this book, well... they just drive that fact home! And I look at this world on the verge of a apocalyptic war and I'm a little stunned! It kind of feels like the beginning of the end! Death and despair walk hand in hand....
Urgh! I gotta process it all before I start making sense! This book was total mind bend! so I'll answer the basic question you might have if reading my review:

Did I enjoy this book? - yes! 100% YES!
What about it did I enjoy? - The way it fully progressed the whole Templeverse arc. This whole book had a feeling of "something big is coming "
Would I recommend it? - is that even a question... ofcourse!!

Well sh*$

Just as soon as I thought it was all sorta coming together this book just hooked a left turn in the middle of oncoming traffic. I've ready every single one of every series. And wait patiently for the next. But this one blew my mind. This is why this series is my favorite.

Mayhem ensues

Shayne Silvers did it again!

Another fantastic read and page turner from start to finish! Callie holds the future of mankind in her hands and once again has to make the tough decisions that would have stronger men crying for their mommies. She is the epitome of a bad ass heroine, full of grit, witt, and determination. Shayne is so clever with his ability to combine different pantheons so seamlessly that you can't tell where one begins and another ends. I am a huge fan of the little nuggets he drops in his text , and find myself laughing out loud one minute and sobbing the next. If you have not read the Callie Penrose or Nate Temple series you need to stop what you are doing and read them today! You will not regret it.

The Master Wordsmith has done it again!

Shayne Silvers has far outdone himself this time. Pull up a chair and pour yourself a big stiff drink. You are in for a wild ride with this edition of the tale about Callie Penrose. AKA: The White Rose, Master Dracula, the Horseman of Despair, the Heir to Solomon's temple, and just possibly, a new title.
Heaven, Hell, the Conclave and the Four Horsemen are all gunning for Callie. Castle Dracula now has a secret code in order to know who belongs and who doesn't. Kansas City is under a magical blood bubble, again. And the Divines are trying to find the Watchers.
Just when you think you have it all figured out Shayne pulls the rug out from under you. Damn you Shayne Silvers!!! Now, how long until the next book!!!

Callie Penrose. Guardian of Kansas City, Horse woman of Despair, Master Dracula, and all around kick-butt heroine is once again with us. This book picks up where the last one left off. Callie is fresh off the attack on Castle Dracula during her god parent's wedding, and still reeling from the battles she had with the Sins and Arch angels to save her best friend is struck another blow as attacks from all sides start raining down on her city. Callie needs to figure out how to stop these attacks, and also find out why they are happening. Along the way, secrets will be revealed, more questions will arise, and Callie will be forced into a confrontation that will shake her to her core. This is the 37th book in the Templeverse series, so by now you should know what to expect. However, Shayne's writing still manages to surprise, and keep you guessing at each turn. If you have enjoyed the other books, definitely pick this one up. Some of the implications for characters we have come to know and love are Earth shattering and heart breaking.

Shayne Silvers is an incredible writer, and the fact that his Feathers and Fire series is so innovative and fantastic despite being an incredible 11books into the series is evidence of that. This 11th book, Angel Dust, as as wonderfully complex yet wild and adventurous as the prior ones, and it’s a total pleasure following along as Callie, the lead here, continues to develop. A perfect storyline that advances the overarching story arc, continues the character development of a great cast yet works wonderfully for newcomers. Yes, this book has it all, and it’s all pretty darn great - and very easy to highly recommend.

READ THE ENTIRE SERIES - NOW!

The Feathers and Fire series by Shane Silvers was my introduction into the Templeverse and Callie Penrose is my favorite character. The plot in Angel Dust, the 11th book in the series, took a turn I did not see coming .....and I cannot wait for the next book!

Author Shayne Sivers' Templeverse embraces three series; Nate Temple, Feathers and Fire, and The Phantom Queen Diaries. The Phantom Queen Diaries is co-authored with Cameron O'Connell.

This wonderfully written and complex storyline is action-packed, filled with danger, betrayal, twists, and loss. The world building is phenomenal, with vivid descriptions, violence, and intriguing, dark and compelling characters. One can only hope that the next volume will be coming soon. I loved this well-written book. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Callie is the feather duster of angels.

Mr. Silvers does it again. Combining the rollercoaster and the tilt-a-whirl of mind f*&%ery to bring this part of Callie's tale to life or death depending on your character choices. Woe, the horizons expand in some directions and narrow in others. Masterfully written, engrossing and leaves me craving more of everything.
