Keats: A Beginner's Guide

Rate this book
In this accessible and stimulating introduction to John Keats, the author shows him to be one of the most accomplished and influential stylists in English poetry. In his odes and his great narrative poetry, Keats achieved a dazzling, melodious, and intense word-magic. Yet Keats' masterpieces do more than merely entertain—they continue to challenge us with profound ideas that were perceived as radical in his own day and maintain their relevance in ours.
