Mysterious Creatures: Cryptid Encounters: Volume 2
Welcome to volume 2 of Mysterious Cryptid Encounters. For those of you who don’t know, Mysterious Creatures is a Facebook page and group and also a YouTube channel. The encounters that I share with you in these books are the real life encounters shared in the Mysterious Creatures Facebook group by the members. We currently have 176k members and this is increasing by about 1k per day, so as you can imagine we get a lot of encounter stories shared every day. We get encounter stories with just about everything you can imagine from bigfoot to dogman, ghosts, demons, ufo’s, orbs, shadow people, mermaids and so on. If you’re a believer in cryptids then you will enjoy this book and if you are not then maybe this book will open your mind to the possibility that there are mysterious creatures out there.

This is another book about cryptids. When I not unspecified I am meaning that the entry did not have enough details for me to come up with a specif classification of what was seen. So, keeping that in mind, it was the largest group of stories with 23 of them falling into the non-specific classification.
Otherwise, there were 2 stories which seemed to be Dogmen and two stories about Mothman cryptids. Otherwise there were 'light people', the opposite of the shadow people grouping. There was a demon dog, a UFO, a big cat, a Wendigo, a shadow person, a gremlin, a werewolf and a pterodactyl.
That's a rather unusual grouping and the fact that most of the stories did not fall into any specific category was sort of disappointing.
Of course, in many cases people are not familiar with cryptids at all and can only describe what they briefly see.

More Strange & Unusual Cryptid Sightings
This is the second book in a series of collected stories of cryptid encounters. The encounters cover a range of time, locations and ages of witnesses. The bulk are of Bigfoot and Dogman, with some others mixed it. Thanks to the witnesses for coming forward with their stories. The bulk of these are sightings on roads and in the wild. Many of the witnesses won't go back into woods again or avoid those locations afterwards. I will be looking forward to the next installment of this series.

Decent stories but horrible grammar
The stories were pretty good. However, the grammar and sentence structure were horrible. So bad that it made reading very difficult. I suggest the author take a little bit of time to correct these problems before publishing. Don't just put a bunch of letters directly in and call it good. Laziness by the author is obvious as this is the 4th book I've read and the others are just as bad. Little more effort G.D.

Disappointed
Some of the stories or “encounters “ sound phony! I think the author needs to vet his contributors better. I have read Tom Lyons collections of encounters with Bigfoot and they sound more honest. I’m not saying it’s the authors fault but he should try to do more research on his subjects.

Yikes Spelling Errors Batman!
This book is awful. The stories would be good if anybody took the time to edit them. There are sentences with no punctuation, grammatical errors, spelling errors, no sense of voice. It’s so hard to read that you can’t even appreciate the stories. Do not bother with this book.

Very short stories
Good reading, stories are very short many are difficult to read since they are not edited. Interesting just the same.
