Book 6 in Kate Tilney's Kings of the Mountain series, Eli, is a fast-paced, entertaining, swoon-worthy mountain man short romance. Eli retreated to the Montana mountains after suffering a casualty while working for the Sunset Canyon Fire Department. The sister of his best friend, Nora uses information she found to hunt down his location - and parks herself on his property, determined to convince him to at least come home for a visit. From the moment she arrives on his doorstep, Eli attempts to send her away - while fighting the attraction he has always felt for her. Will Nora be able to get through to Eli, or will her adventure in the mountains all be for naught?
Another fabulous short and steamy romance from Ms Tilney!
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A great quick read. Eli has lost many people close to him and now he believes he’s bad luck and doesn’t deserve love and happiness. Nora has loved Eli for years and now she’s determined to make him smile and live again. These two have amazing chemistry and Nora is sassy yet determined to make Eli smile again. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a great sunshine vs grumpy type of man story.
Nora is determine to bring Eli back to the land of the living. On the outside, its to bring him home to hang with his buddies but secretly she's been in love with him forever.
I loved the entire book, but I especially liked when you saw just how protective Eli was when Nora was sleeping in the tent.
This is an amazing story about the heroine's love for a man who believes he is cursed and she proves him wrong. Great storyline. Great characters and a beautiful happy ever after.
