He’s the one person I don’t want around and yet, I can’t ask him to leave.
Bella
The summer is coming to an end, and I’m barely surviving. Dad’s gone. Mom spends more time passed out on the couch than doing anything else. Thankfully, I have school and soccer to keep me distracted. Until Logan Cartwright walks back into my life. He’s acting like his family didn’t ruin mine and confusing me more than ever. I’m supposed to hate him, but he’s nice and everywhere I don’t want him to be.
Logan
I’m back home in Sweet Mountain, ready to start my life sans my parents. They’re desperately trying to save the business they took from the Davenports and have abandoned me at my grandmother’s house while they come up with a plan. Which is fine with me. When I run into Bella, I’m trying to fight the desire to fix what our parents broke. She’s distant and vulnerable. My protective instincts take control. If only I could get her to trust me, she’d see how much I want to help, not hurt. Some Rules are Meant to be BrokenIf you love a Romeo and Juliet romance, you'll love Rule #11: You Can't Ignore your Family's Feud
Anne-Marie Meyer is a USA Today Bestselling author who lives south of the Twin Cities in MN. She spends her days with her knight in shining armor, four princes, and a baby princess.
When she's not running after her kids, she's dreaming up romantic stories. She loves to take her favorite moments in the books and movies she loves and tries to figure out a way to make them new and fresh.
All in all I think this might be my favourite out of these books, as long as I ignore every time she reminded me of a pick me (which admittedly was mostly at the start of the book) but they had their cute moments, and I was able to not feel at least a little bit negatively during some parts of the book which is apparently my new fucking standards after this series..
I really wanted to love this book, but unfortunately I didn’t. I loved the plot idea but the execution is what killed me. So rushed, more description on what the character was doing than an actual plot. All the typos were very distracting. Almost had to start a drinking game for every time Logan winked or Bella started tearing up. The same language was used over and over and over.
This is a very cute story! Bella and Logan making it work despite their families' fued is so sweet. I love the modern-day Romeo and Juliet vibes. And the heavier topics mixed with the sweet romance make a really great story. I definitely recommend this book!
Another quick pace, cute love story. Teenage love with a barrier of a family feud. At what point do you stop fighting your parent’s battles and start living your life? These two figure it out together.
A little rushed story, but it was good. I felt like there was a little too much narration, not that much interactions/dialogues between any of the characters.
💜 Small town 🖤 High school romance 💜 Clean/no spice
Logan and Bella used to be close when their parents were best friends. Logan’s father betrays Bella’s and now the families are mortal enemies. The thing is that they are attracted to each other as much as they try and fight it.
