Annabelle tells the story of a man's descent into violence, depravity, and murder.
After killing his fifth victim, the man feels the police closing in. The killer feigns a breakdown, and is placed on medication that helps to calm his murderous tendencies.
Years pass - and the killer stops taking his medication and is visited by a model talking to him from the pages of a pornographic magazine and his dead mother who orders him to kill so that she can be resurrected.
The killer plans to kill Annabelle - an escort he met online - to fulfill his mother's orders...but Annabelle has other plans!
Annabelle is a dark, twisted, and funny story.
Annabelle is full of twists and turns - and will keep you riveted and will shock you.

Tim works in digital marketing in Toronto and is well-traveled, having visited over 80 countries. When he is not working or writing he likes to spend time with his family and German Shepherd - and to go cycling.
The young man begins developing perverse tendencies courtesy of a pornographic magazine and watching his own mother engaging in prostitution in their home. Through this he becomes a serial killer, his victims resembling his mother. Along the way he meets Annabelle, who, unbeknownst to him, has her own plan for him. Her actions have him placed within the Department of Mental Health system. At this point is where reality meets fantasy. The end will shock you.
There were some distracting typos in the beginning and it was kind of predictable in the style. But the story itself was original and enjoyable. I won a free copy on Goodreads and I'm glad because it was a surprising amount of fun
The first few chapters were not my “cup of tea” and I almost gave up. Too dark and depraved, but stepping out of the deranged mind helped bring perspective. This was a quick read, interesting, but not very satisfying.
After about 4 chapters, I had to stop. Not because it wasn't good but because my brain had to switch gears. The alien aspect really threw me off. This book had me feeling like I had a nervous breakdown, then recuperated, then went crazy again. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
