Ahhhhhhh wtf this volume was so good!!!! It started off so intense and the games in this volume were so action packed and thought provoking and interesting!! (One of my favorites from the show!) And the way this one ended are you kidding me!!! Even though I’ve seen the show and I know what comes next I am itching with excitement to read the next volume! These are just so well written, I almost cried during this one scene toward the end, like am I okay??? Probably not 😭 loving this series so much!

Anche questa seconda storia extra si è rivelata bellissima ♣️ nonostante nella serie tv sia stata immotivatamente edulcorata per adattarla alla sceneggiatura.

These editions by VIZ still have a few errors in them. For example in one of the pages the King of Spades was called the King of Hearts etc. I hope VIZ will check their proofreaders/editors.
The story line divers a bit from the live action series, some plot points where even emitted. But it's definitively not a negative thing. I really enjoyed watching the live action series on Netflix but also really enjoy reading the manga. I wonder if the manga will focus more on action and will add a bit more of profoundness in the coming volumes. Hopefully Kyuma's (King of Clubs and my favourite character) original character is the same as in the series.

For fans of the Netflix series Alice in Borderland be prepared. This volume is so different from the series but no less incredible. Some backstories change and some events change. The manga is just as, if not more exciting than the show. I still get amazed with how accurately the characters in the show represent the manga versions.

I wasn't crazy about this one - we get a little more insight to how the game works, but a good amount of this feels like followup from the previous volume.

Trovo che il manga sia sempre più complesso rispetto all'adattamento della serie TV. Per esempio Arisu, dopo il "rifiuto" di Usagi, viene esplorato molto più profondamente rispetto alla serie TV, in cui sembra solo un bambino (forse anche espressività dell'attore non ha aiutato). Inoltre queste storie extra aggiungono molto più spessore al mondo di Borderland: questa volta è stato osservato il 4 di ♣️, che nella serie viene giocato di Arisu e Usagi, mentre qui vediamo niente di meno del re di ♦️. Le prove del game sono più numerose e più difficili, e rosichi ancora di più pensando che il traguardo era proprio lì e bisognava semplicemente stare fermi. Mi piace che vengono introdotti in queste storie extra dei personaggi che altrimente non avremmo conosciuto.
Eccoci finalmente nei game delle figure, la comparsa del Re di ♠️ è spaventosa, ecco da questo non so se sarei riuscita a fuggire. Non vedo l'ora di vedere il game del Re di ♣️, anche se Niragi è proprio insopportabile. Non capisco come faccia mezzo fandom della serie ad amarlo, regà è uno dei personaggi più tossici che abbia mai visto, e ne ho visti...

Un paso adelante en la narración. Para mi bastante mejor volumen que los anteriores. Los persomajes ya están mucho más definidos y los juegos y retos son bastante ingeniosos.

Wasn't crazy about this one, it had some good games in it but that's about it. Nothing major happened here. The new era's about to start.

And with that we’ve completed season 1 of the show, and now my favourite games are coming up, the face cards. So many emotions and feelings in this volume, really pulled on the heartstrings. The characters are all going through different stages of existential crisis, and it’s incredibly interesting following their thought patterns and actions. This truly is an amazing manga series.

These volumes go way to fast and I love it so much. I've watched the show first and the manga has much more emotion and back story, this one in particular. It was a 4.5 and 5 and 6 are already in transit

boah ich freu mich legit so sehr darauf wenn endlich der nächste teil veröffentlicht wird. wie soll ich noch fast nen monat warten ?? und dann nochmal zwei monate usw. das nervt die sollten die alle einfach jetzt rausbringen damit ich die lesen kann.
naja auch hier, sehr gut gemacht. die idee generell ist halt auch so baba nh wen sowas erstmal einfällt. auch die ganzen spiele sind so gut und interessant beschrieben.

Continuo la mia lettura di 'Alice in Borderland', con il quarto volume del manga di Haro Asō.
L'avventura di Arisu nel Borderland, un "mondo" nel quale si è obbligati a partecipare a dei giochi mortali per poter continuare a vivere, prosegue in questo capitolo nel quale ha inizio il "Next Stage", lo stadio successivo: adesso è il momento di raccogliere tutte le carte delle figure; il che significa... nuovi game.
Il dieci di cuori era terribile nella serie TV ed è terribile anche nel manga. I game di cuori sono giochi psicologici, che si basano sulla manipolazione tra i diversi giocatori, sulla fiducia che hanno l'uno per l'altro e sul tradimento che questi sono o meno disposti a compiere per avere salva la vita. Non è facile pensare lucidamente, riflettere sulla soluzione, nemmeno quando questa è semplice e lì, davanti ai tuoi occhi; è più facile invece abbandonarsi al proprio istinto, e smettere di sentire.
Il game del quattro di fiori è decisamente peggio nel manga rispetto all'adattamento seriale... ma rimane probabilmente l'unico gioco al quale riuscirei a sopravvivere proprio grazie alle mie scarse abilità sportive.
Come immaginavo, la terza stagione di 'Alice in Borderland' si è dimostrata una schifezza, ma l'avevo già messo in conto: non mi aspettavo (quasi) nulla, quindi per me è come se non esistesse; il mio consiglio di recuperare questa serie rimane, perché merita (tantissimo) - e anche voi potete fingere che le stagioni siano solo due. Mi ringrazierete.
[E se volete recuperare anche il manga, io approvo, eh! Vi piacciono le distopie? I giochi mortali? No? Fa nulla: leggetelo comunque. Sono con voi.]

Another great one.
This filled the void between the numbered cards and the face ones being a big plus compared to the TV adaptation.
Loved to see the 4 of clubs side story(also included on netflix but very differently in the storyline) also to see characters find their purpose and new missions, specially Mahiru since I don't think he was mentioned on netflix.
The interval events felt like a great way to deal with grief and find motivation to move on.
We definitely got more information about what the dealers are and what the next stage is all about.
Can't wait to see the face cards and how they're going to defeat them.

Again a great volume in an amazing series! I really enjoyed the character bonding in this one. Besides that I also enjoyed the side story a lot. I'm already curious about the next volume!
