I’m finding a way back to my mate—even if it means taking the truth back with me. After finding out Tobias betrayed everyone, he kidnapped me and took me back to his home. With the Wearbears and his family for one reason only: he believes I’m his mate and he believes our mating would stop the war.
But I have a mate, and I would never change a thing.
The war has begun, and no one is going to win… unless I stop it.
Atlas Arcturus is my mate and I will fight for the future we can have. Nothing, not even a shifter war, is going to keep us apart.
He was once my tutor, my enemy and the first male I’ve kissed.
Now he is my alpha. My mate. My future.
This is a full-length trilogy full of sexy alpha males, steamy scenes, a strong heroine and a lot of sarcasm. This is the last book in the series.
G. Bailey is a USA Today bestselling author of books that are filled with everything from dragons to pirates. Plus, fantasy worlds and breath-taking adventures. Oh, and some swoon-worthy men that no girl could forget. G. Bailey is from the very rainy U.K. where she lives with her husband, two children and three cheeky dogs.
3.5 stars as there were several inconsistencies like in the first book we're reading about the heroine having blond hair in the second book she moves her black locks and in the third there's a picture in the beginning where we see the heroine with blond hair. Also why oh why every other paragraph mostly in the first two books someone is always running a hand through their hair. Overall the plot was interesting but I felt it lacked some experience, I really don't know if this series are the Author's first works or not. The relationship of the main characters was a bit abrupt? I can't find a more suitable word as it lacked building after their initial meeting and then we see them having a fake relationship. Also I feel the blurbs of all three books are quite misleading.
This paranormal fiction book is filled with action, adventure, and a badass heroine and hero. This book contains wolf shifters, magic, hybrids, and an exhilarating war between shifters. The story is action-packed and surprising, but I love the end the most—the perfect conclusion to this Academy romance.
The last book ended with a massive cliffhanger. We begin this book with Nyx being kidnapped by Tobias. Nyx is a strong heroine, but I don’t think she can egg out of this one alone.
It is good to know that Atlas, her mate, Addison, her enemy, and Ivy, her friend, are working on a backup for her. Ahh, this book gets exhilarating as these mates make choices, and choices are made for them. Of course, the worst is yet to come, and we see a new side of Nyx emerge. She is a badass heroine, and I love her sassy attitude and snarky comments. She and Atlas are a force to be recognized, and I love that the author shows this in the book. The. The end of this book is stunning, but the perfect Academy end for them both.
I ready this in one sitting immediately after the 2nd book. It wasn't too long but longer than a novella. I wish there had been a little more to the story, like maybe some cliffhanger that meant another book or a follow up novella might happen. That being said, it was a good book for what it was. Good action scenes, little sass and humor, some sad parts and it wrapped it all up pretty well.
Decent wrap up to the story. I was glad to be seeing some character development, but I’d still give this 2.5 stars because the pacing felt off and some plot points & character growth felt rushed/forced.
Explosive finale with Nyx and the group. Atlas and Nyx fight to keep the werebears at bay. Not all will survive the battle to come. Fast paced. Great end to the series.
I think there were a lot of errors a good proofreading could’ve gotten and this is pretty much like an epic battle so there’s ups and downs for me.
The ups: it’s exciting. There’s action and we get to see her IN action. We finally learn more about angels and what they play a part in all this. We hear about her angelic lineage.
The downs: the gist is a rescue and battle, with some random smack talk to magical higher ups. That’s not my thing and I couldn’t believe or agree with her reasons for saying what she did. I appreciated her gumption though, and her passion, but logically, I couldn’t entirely understand her getting mad when I fell a little more on the angel’s side.
The ok’s: on one hand I like the setup, but at the same time, because everything is so quick-paced and brushes on everything to get to the end, I had a harder time getting into it if the skips weren’t right. I thought the pacing was kinda consistent… first book’s about the bully high school theme with a hint of fake boyfriend; second book’s got the mission and who-done-it thing going on; third book’s the epic battle.
So overall I think this missed it for me. Not great but not horrible.
The Moon Alpha series (trilogy - 3 books total) Book 1 - Luna Wolf, 200 pages ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5, 🌶️🌶️ Book 2 - Nox Wolf, 151 pages ⭐️⭐️, 🌶️.5 Book 3 - Lux Wolf, 154 pages ⭐️⭐️, 🌶️.5
Books 1 and 2 end on cliffhangers.
The series is a mix bag. Overall, it was a decent read. It’s hard to find good werewolf stories that don’t involve reverse harem (one woman, multiple male partners). The story centers around Nyx and eventually, Atlas. I enjoyed these two and the other casts of characters. The writing had so much potential but there was a lot of continuity issues, and a few grammar issues. Example: Book 1, Nyx has blonde hair, book 2 she has blonde hair in the beginning and black hair a few chapters later with no explanation why. The story is lacking in a few critical World building explanations. Some of the sex scenes took place in really inappropriate times. Running from the near by enemy? Not a good time to strip naked and have sex in the woods.
I could accept some of these flaws because it kept the books from being too long. Part of the appeal of this trilogy is that it’s a quick read. Ideally, the series should’ve had more details added (100-150 pages more total), and a good editor.
Part 3 was better than part 2; more action and less of the mushy stuff. Atlas all the way through the series has the same line of conversation and volcabulary, saying ..... "touch her and I will kill you." Needless to say Nyx often saved herself because shes amazing and powerful! So they say and she knows this as well regardless of her denials. The enemy touched her over and over but could Atlas kill the enemy. Nope. With the help of the angels they managed to defeat the werebears. I didnt feel emotion in the writing just written words, which were on repeat throughout. Copy and paste. Sexual content. Would recommend if you have nothing else to read. This part 3 is really short it didnt take that long to read. The 3 parts need binding together to make one complete book. Making a book in 3 short parts is a money making ploy which I do not agree with. The series ended well with a HEA for Atlas and Nyx however, the author could contine the storyline as it was sort of left open.
As always, the final book in the trilogy comes to a close with a heavy heart. The authors again manage to give a series worth investing our heart and soul in. I couldn't stop reading as heart-wrenching tragedies and epic battles kept me turning pages and literally getting no sleep to see how Atlas and Nyx's story came to a close. I was not disappointed with the outcome even though I'm always saddened with the loss of people, or in this case, characters, that that are lost in war even in a book.
This series had many differences from the norm, which was why it has become a series I revisit to enjoy again and again. My thanks go out to the authors for sharing their creative world with us. ❤️
I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.
I think this might be my favorite series from G. Bailey! I loved it from book 1 until the end of this book. It's a rollercoaster of a ride and I enjoyed every twist and turn. Nyx took her powers in stride and had to figure out how to wield them completely on her own.
I love her connection with Atlas. He's so "she's mine I must protect" and I loved that so much. I also love how much all of these characters have grown from book 1 and how much they have been able to change, for the better.
I'm so glad I got the chance to read this series and I know this will be a reread for me in the future!
What a fantastic ending to an awesome 👏🏼 series loved 🥰 it so much ….twists ,turns and a few surprises along the way 😊…very addicting couldn’t put it down I love ❤️ wolves 🐺 and Atlas wow 🤤this book 📖 gives you all the feels and takes you on a rollercoaster of a ride ,it’s compelling, addictive, full of action , desire and so much passion ….this whole series takes you on a journey with so much going on you can not help but full in love with all the characters and Nyx is amazing and Atlas who is her mate is strong minded who has Nyxs back completely, advising and guiding her when she needs it together they are stronger ,love ❤️ this series
Lux Wolf by G. Bailey and Regan Rosewood is the epic conclusion we've been waiting for. Nyx is fierce, determined, and ready to fight her way back to Atlas, her true mate, even as Tobias's betrayal threatens to tear everything apart.
This book brings high-stakes action, sizzling romance, and heart-pounding twists as Nyx faces the shifter war head-on. Atlas, her broody alpha mate, shines as the perfect partner, proving that their love is worth every battle.
Lux Wolf is a must-read if you're into shifter romances with strong heroines and love stories that defy all odds.
Nyx fights to get back to her mate Atlas. Atlas never gives up on trying to locate her. With all the everything they finally manage to get what they want. This book will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what the author will throw at you next. This was a great series, and I can't wait for the next book.
This is a great story that will draw you in. This is a well written and very entertaining story. This is a great series that any book lover would enjoy.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was definitely not the best werewolf series , story line was quite poor written in all books but , book 3 was most disappointing , Tobias ending wasn’t right, book was just missing something, felt like written by hobby writer, everything fast , too fast, not enough, I’am not even sure how to describe but book was strongly missing something. Definitely not something I would read again, but wasn’t worst book either, it’s short books so I don’t feel like wasted much time either.
Nyx and Atlas Arcturus are mates who have to deal with dark magic and other supernaturals to hold on to their love. The pressure is intense but can Nyx get through this? The twists and turns will keep the reader never quite knowing where the evil is coming from. And the overall growth of our favorite characters is very satisfying, leaving us in a good place when the story winds down.
So, this is the end. The story had en epic ending! The ending seemed fitting for these characters. It was nice to know Nyx will still have a chance to get to know her biological father more. Atlas stood behind his beliefs and it paid off. Unfortunately, there was a price to it that was still pretty painful, regardless of the circumstances. All in all, this was a good read. Not one of my favorites, but still a good read.
I wanted to like this series so much. It had such amazing potential and the main characters are perfect but man it just misses a lot of points for me. One every book felt rushed and a lot of information felt like it was missing. Secondly, you can't just have an epic fight and the heroine of the story be worthless why build the character up so much and then never let her be great? Very much a book story that fail in the main female lead role.
“I never realized how much loving someone can change a person.”
Such a fantastic ending to the series. I think I read all 3 books in under 3 days. They were just what I needed taking a break from a long heavy involved series. A great storyline, fun characters, a little bit of spice. Nyx is amazing, and Atlas is so sweet (but only on her). The side characters really bring things together and you couldn’t have done it without them!
XXX! ADULT CONTENT, READER DISCRETION ADVISED. Nyx is a half breed. Half shifter and half angel. Atlas is her mate and mentor. When Nyx is taken by the enemy werebears she fully comes into her angel heritage. Still it is her bravery and stubbornness that allow the tides of a losing war time be turned. Atlas is there to support and encourage her all the way.
I found this series on tt. I write reviews under my husband's account, but my author name is L.A. Moore. I adore reading other authors works. I was immediately drawn to this book and had to find the rest. Once I began reading I couldn't stop. I read the entire series in less than two days. Well worth the read!
I needed this series after reading some flops. this was a great series that keeps you on the edge of your seat, first time I've read from this author and it will not be the last. If you're looking for a great series with a lot of action and witty characters along with some heartbreak and romance this is a great series for you
I went from one book to the next without stopping to write reviews. Cause I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I enjoyed the characters and their relationships….including the secondary ones. They all filled the pages so well. The world building was well done. Will go look for more books by tho Is author
Good story development from where we left off in the 2nd book. I'm hoping this isn't the last book cause there's more to explore in this world with Atlas and Nyx. I would've liked it more too if there was an epilogue I hate books with no epilogue
i still dont know how i feel about this series. Personally Im not a fan of the Angels / Demons storyline. This was different where they were also mixed with the wolves.
I love any books by G.Bailey, but this series i did struggle with and mainly because its just not my type of storyline. It was wonderfully written and those cover designs are absolutely stunning.
I like that even the ending isn’t the perfect happy ending but it’s theirs. Fantastic series, was wow hat can I say it was full of action, twists, shocks of huge surprises, traditions, all kind of shifters, demons and angels. And magic so much magic. Loved this series, sad it’s ended.
An awful resolution to the werebear invasion. No team work, no big plan. All was hinged on the heroine's holier than though guilt trip to the angels who wanted nothing to do with the mortal world. So all it took to end the threat was a "rousing" speech of an 18yo to immortal beings stuck in their ways to come and save the day.
