I loved this book! I devoured it in a week only because I had work.

Clifford has been a teacher for the longest time and also cofounded a company called The Homeless of Nairobi. In this memoir, he makes me wish I was enrolled in the schools he taught at. He sees his students as little humans (emphasis on humans first). If you went to schools in Kenya you know how rare that was.

Clifford is a natural storyteller! He managed to humanize the work he does with the Homeless of Nairobi, his students, his classmates when he  himself was a student and most important himself. I think it's easy to see what he does with homeless of Nairobi and think he is just a superhuman... But he is guy who has chosen to be a super human. To care and do what needs to be done. There was also a lesson in self care and boundaries.

Kenyans would be able to relate to a lot in this book because he talks about some big events (from his perspective and where he was when whatever was happening) in the last few years.
