Good all around guide for basic information, but pretty useless for developing cone 6 glazes which is what I need.

An excellent, modern ceramic reference featuring useful pictures/diagrams with organized and well-worded sections. Would own.

A good overview of clay types and glazes. Along with practical instructions for glazing (different techniques, etc.) it also discussed why different faults appear in glazing. Again, while good to know, it's probably more technical than a beginner who doesn't plan to create her own clay or glazes needs.

Good book, very informative and detailed! I can't wait to try out some of these recipes. There's an excellent section on considering a pottery business.
