Rate this book
Between managing doctors’ appointments, medications, and symptoms, it can become easy for your chronic illness to impact every aspect of your life—including how you define yourself. There’s no denying that learning to live with a chronic illness can be an overwhelming and often isolating journey. But it doesn’t have to be. Part of You, Not All of You is a guided journal that helps you sort through the many layers of life with chronic illness while offering some encouragement along the way. At the end of the day, we are all in this together. Our individual stories will forever be part of who we are, but they will never be ALL that we are. You are more than your illness.

“Part of You, Not All of You” is a guided journal that masterfully combines parts of Jenneh’s own story with teachings and meditations on how we can more effectively change our narratives and give ourselves grace. I savored this book, slowly working through the exercises and thinking about how I could best serve myself through the process. I chose to complete the exercises in a separate notebook so that I can go back and repeat the prompts in the future or whenever I feel the need. Highly recommend this book for anyone who lives with or supports others who live with chronic illness.

Great prompts, check-ins, and personal essays from people living with chronic illnesses. This helped me work through a lot of my own issues accepting who I am and learning how to manage myself and my illnesses.
