Too much fluff and the art helps to create even more flowers, I'm dying out here! I love this so so much! Hirano is so freaking adorable! And yes, Kagi too! The art is just worth my nose bleeds, a 100% I wouldn't mind dying of blood loss. I'm just happy that he finally confessed for real! But I need to know what Hirano really thinks about it! He's on the verge of realizing his "true" feelings, and I can't wait!!

Although, I'm having a hard time processing the whole idea of that dormitory system. It just doesn't make sense to me. Wouldn't it be easier to just stay? Switching is silly since it doesn't create extra rooms. I mean, rooms will and will be filled once the new fishes apply. Switching is just more paperwork. But yea, maybe its advantage is really to avoid unnecessary fights among dormmates who do not get along. Peace is still the number 1 priority. But it felt unrealistic to me when they said it like, "You can stay (in that dorm) if your grades are good" lol, that made me laugh. So childish. But yea, so what, it's fiction anyway. And who am I to talk, I don't even experience dormitories in real life.

But, augh, I can't wait to read the next volume!!!

Literal le compró una alarma con un básquet, lo llevó a comer y luego le dió unos tickets de un gran partido de básquet al que fueron juntos, y ahora hace que todo el complejo de dormitorios le haga una fiesta a kagi, wtf el más simp.

Their relationship is so awkward. I got pretty severe secondhand embarrassment in this volume, and I'm left with even more questions than when I started.

The good: Kagiura unpacking how he actually feels about Hirano was effectively done. His side of things is definitely believable, and you can feel the tension and the sparks...I'd say between them, but it's still so incredibly one-sided. Which makes other parts harder to swallow.

I'm sorry, but there is simply no world where two dudes are going to practice putting their heads in each other's laps in the dorm. Hirano would not have agreed to that? I guess he thought it was some sort of joke, bros being bros, Kagiura being weird, but ??? Like, nice BL scene but where's the logic.

The dorm arrangements also didn't make a lot of sense. I kept trying to figure out the logistics and then gave up. Wouldn't single dorm rooms be smaller, with only one bed? In order to house more people the next year, the dorm would have to purchase more beds, and then what, throw them out the next year once those third years want the luxury of single rooms again?

The other part I liked was how swiftly and decisively Hirano turned Kagiura down once they got to the official confession scene. It was refreshing to not have it drag into a whole Thing where he was struggling with his feelings, or figuring out how to not hurt Kagiura's, etc. At this point in the story, he's not remotely interested in Kagiura in that way, so of course he'd be straightforward about it.

I like Hirano a lot. I am liking Kagiura more now. I definitely understand what Kagiura sees in Hirano...but Hirano still very much sees Kagiura like a cute, pesky little brother, and I...don't actually ship them very much. Maybe that will change, but right now it just feels awkward.

This series is a perfect example of the 'roommates to lovers' trope, but we're experiencing the beginning/middle stage at the moment. Kagiura loves Hirano, and Hirano... well, he's confused. Kagiura is finally able to get his feelings across to Hirano, but he turns him down, however, it becomes increasingly clear to Hirano that he does not treat Kagi like any other roommate. If anything, there relationship, from the outside, looks like they are already dating, and he never even realized it. But, he's determined to not let their relationship die, and wants to continue rooming with Kagi during his third, and final year of school, and Kagi's second. Only problem is, the stipulation for being able to choose who you room with is based upon being in the top 50 of your grade, something Kagi is no where near achieving.

While the 'daww' of it all is similar to Sasaki and Miyano, Hirano and Kagiura has a decidedly different feel, because I never didn't think Sasaki and Miyano would get together. Here, Hirano seems to be in heavy denial, and unwilling to budge, so I am interested to see where this story goes from here.

Son demasiado para mi solitario corazón. Kagi, the man you are. Y ver el dibujo hermoso, con los cambios de atmósfera cada que interactúan y sienten cosas bonitas... nooo quiero llorar. los amo.


A partir de aquí son pensamientos a lo random que vienen a mi mente:
* No esperaba que hubiera confesión tan rápido, pero te respeto Kagi-kun, aunque fuera rechazado igual se me hizo lindo que Hirano no se espantara y quisiera seguir manteniendo su relación amical T-T
* El amigo de Kagiura, no me acuerdo su nombre... también lo amo. Viva la amistad carajo. Que lindo.
* Creía que Miyano iba a aparecer más por los lares de la historia de Hirano pero considerando que al parecer se entrelazan los periodos con los capítulos de Sasaki to Miyano kinda makes sense?
* Amo la carita de Kagi, Hirano me sigue pareciendo cool.

*Fin. Amo todo. El vicepresidente se me hace menos terrorífico aquí asdfadfas, me daba más miedito en el otro manga. Se me hace muy curioso que aparezca más veces por aquí aunque en la ficha de personaje leí que es el mejor amigo de Hirano, eso no me lo esperaba. Me cae bien :')

Kagirua has his sights set on Hirano and he is trying to communicate his feelings as clear as possible. But Hirano doesn't get it but when Kagirua makes it obvious that he has a romantic interest.

The second installment of the spin off is cute but sometimes it can be a little cringe. Especially when Kagirua asked if he could lay his head on his lap outta the blue with zero explanation 😂 however I do really appreciate Kagirua being upfront about his feelings and instead of the two of them dancing around each other he just gets straight to the point to find out his answers. Honestly we should all do that way more often!

I liked the beginning and it's obvious Hirano cares but he just doesn't know if it could be considered romantic. I'm expecting some more internal development from Hinaro on the next one! This one had me blushing at the end with Kagirua. He's so sweet but, a little too pushy sometimes. It's obvious Hinaro will like him in return but he just needs to figure it out on his own. (maybe, just a guess)
