A collection of the many uses of this miraculous product, this title also explores the history of vinegar, from the time it was discovered by accident more than 10,000 years ago, through to World War I when it was used to treat wounds in the trenches.
This is a great cookbook/kitchen helper/DIY book on how to use vinegar for...just about everything. You can use white or apple cider vinegar to cure everything from a sore throat to dandruff to housefly invasions. Likewise, it's the best mildew killer around and cleaning product. With helpful recipes and cleaning concoctions, I think you'll find you don't need multiple bottles of Windex, Tilex or bleach. Just a bottle of vinegar, a few additives and you're on your way. Very helpful!
Like reading a school assignment. Poorly constructed, no research references or any details for statements such as " Medical research has indicated that cervical cancer can be detected early on by use of vinegar". It looks like the author got bored of the project after the initial introduction. Not recommended.
This is an easy read and full of fun info about various vinegars and uses. I had never thought about adding vinegar to my puppy's water for health benefits, even though I drink water that way. And there must be a bazillion uses for household cleaning that I would never have thought of. It also contains recipes for various foods. I'm glad I picked this one up at Barnes & Noble!
