Moving bookshelves around, came across this marvellous and memorable children's book, illustrated by Janosch. One of our son's (and my) favourites, it was a second-hand copy when I was given it by a colleague in the early 1980s, and we read it together so many times it's lost its spine. But it won't be going in the decluttering bag - it's a keeper!
