That was a story that made me cry sad and happy tears. Sad for all the suffering Ian endured while growing up and happy for the ones when he's surrounded with love.
It's extremely difficult to trust and be an open person when you have a past where all the persons that should have care about you abandoned you in one way or other.
Ian has to be brave and to trust that the he has persons in his life that care about him and that can also protect him if he let them.
It was a beautiful story that will show you that everything happens for a reason, that you have to trust and let yourself be loved and that your best friends and the love of your life can be a fierce protector too.
I loved the characters dynamic and development, the way the villains tries to make Ian's life impossible but are ultimately thwarted and brought to light.
I loved the funny and sweet moments that confers a good balance to the story and how love and truth wins.
I loved to see how the new bonds are formed, how the family grows and ultimately supports the ones in need, I loved the new characters that joined the story and hope to see more of them.
It was an amazing read and can't wait to see what happens next with our beloved characters.

This one will take your breath away. We see Ian, a man who has had no reason at all to trust anyone based on his past, finally building a family and a loving support system. Just as he and the reader thinks they can breathe a bit easier, bam! Ian is accused of horrible crimes and it seems like the universe has confirmed for him he'll never be ok, never have love and security. Fortunately, Warrick and his friends are there all the way and they'll make him believe in them, their love and himself. Loved this while series, but this just might be my favorite.

I loved this book. Ian Saint-Clair has always been in a constant cycle of betrayal and loss since he was a child. Until Warrick came into his life and they healed together with the power of love. Ian has been a special prosecutor for twelve years and has been doing his best to put as many bad guys away as he can. When Ian is accused of two horrible crimes. He has only two choices let it consume him or reach out for help. What will he choose and will he make the choice in time?

this is a wonderful book. poor Ian has been through so much in his life, He does have a great life now with his husband Warrick and children until some of his past comes to hunt him again in the form of his first husband Olivier family , that destroyed his life in a way that Ian doesn't even know so the plot to get rid of Ian has many twist and turn's but with good friend's and family behind Ian's back will help him a great deal in the end .I read this book for this author for my honest review opinion

THIS MADE ME SO HAPPY!!!
Oh, this Book is MAGNIFICENT!!! So many unexpected twists and turns. Finally we know how Ian became such a wonderful man and protector of the innocent. I absolutely loved this Book!! I'm such a fan of this Author. Watching this Author grow and improve with every book written is INCREDIBLE. Thank You for giving us the history of this AMAZING character. This story pulled at my heartstrings. Ian had such a horrible past, but he now has a fantastic and loving support system. He has trust issues, just when the past is in the past, it comes back to haunt him. The story has twists and turns you won’t see coming but overall, it was a fantastic story that kept me glued to the pages. It’s really well written and the pacing flowed nicely, highly recommend!!

Perfect book, with the right balance between sadness and joy, abandonment and belonging, evil and goodness, Ian suffers so many losses throughout his life, but he is strong, resilient, but most importantly, he learns to trust if he let himself be loved!! Characters wonderful, sweet, smart, and united sidekicks!! I've said it before and I need to say it again, I love this family, I want to get into the book and let myself be embraced and also belong to such generous and kind people!! 5 ⭐

This world is full of people who are trying to fight against the evil of men and women who only want power and control. Ian is almost taken out of the game this time. But, he manages to get himself out from under the accusations, that are not true. He will be able to fight on. With his circle of friends and family, he will keep fighting. I love these books.

This book is such a good sequel to Kane. The flow of characters and the by-play between them makes raising story great. Poor Ian really has suffered A LOT but with the help of Warrick and those around them he can surely turn it around.

What a great book. Ian had a great life going with his husband and children until his past came back. With the help of his family and friends he was able to overcome and come back stronger. I enjoyed this and recommend. I received a copy of this book for my review.

A Wonderful Story
I enjoyed this story, I fell in love with Ian. How caring he is. I loved all the characters, they were very good. The story had a good story line, and was well written.
