A Captivating Romantic Suspense
At the funeral of her fiancé, Eden Marshall discovers that not only has he been unfaithful—the other woman is expecting his child. After a year of mourning his death, she’s finally ready to move on with her life and lands her dream job—a journalist for Imperial Home Magazine. Her first assignment is to interview Noah Ainsworth, a wealthy bachelor. Her boss warns her to avoid asking any questions about his accident.
Noah Ainsworth guards his privacy, living in a mansion in a small town. He hasn’t dated after his former girlfriend plowed into him with her car, leaving him near death three years earlier. Noah has no interest in allowing another woman to get close to him.
Both Eden and Noah have relationship trust issues and aren’t looking for romance, but things change when Eden walks into his house to interview him. As their love for each other grows, danger surfaces. Someone wants to destroy their relationship, but also wants them dead. Can the love and trust they feel for each other survive through the turmoil and danger they face?
This is a well-executed, intriguing story that shows the heartache and struggles both Eden and Noah had to overcome to allow love into their lives again. Their dogs, Duke and Belle, added a wonderful touch to the story. Their loyalty and devotion to Eden and Noah is heartwarming. The author skillfully weaves tragedy, romance, trust, danger, and a heartless villain into an exciting, engaging novel. Highly recommended!
