Another great short and steamy romance from Scott Wylder. I think his fireman series has been my favorite. Jack and Brooke star in this book about second chances. They have a history but an accident drove them apart and caused guilt and heartbreak. Jack ended up with a facial scar that has caused people to treat him badly which was heartbreaking. I enjoyed his second chance at love and happiness and felt like he was a great match with Brooke.

Great Story!
It is truly amazing how many people think because you have a scar or disfigurement that they have the right to be rude and arrogant!!!! If they are true human beings, they would look past that and see what that person is really like!!! God Bless You Scott for writing this amazing story!!!!

Great book!
My heart just goes out to them. The misunderstanding between them was so heartbreaking and it took so long for them to find each other again. And her boss!!! She should be burned at the stake. Really good story with loads of emotion and a beautiful hea.

cute short story but needs proofing
This is a cute short story. However, the lack of proofreading becomes the focal point unfortunately. Obviously rushed and it shows.
