A child shouldn't know the games adults play, but since Shaw's parents hadn't shielded him from their "proclivities" his take on love and intimacy was forever skewed.
Fast-forward to his life after being a Navy SEAL, and although he now has the time, Shaw still hasn't found a reason to engage in more than temporary arrangements.
When dangerous events unfold, somehow genuine feelings find their way through the cracks forming in Shaw's heart.
And for a man who believed he'd never have true love in his life, he finds an embarrassment of riches waiting for him with open arms.

To all my readers: Thank you. There’s no escaping the truth – without all of you, there wouldn’t be me, the author. Your support and kind words have taken me from being a new author who was unsure and panicked to an author with over twenty books under her belt. Okay, I’m still unsure and panicked, but I’m a work in progress. (Takes a sip of wine.)
I love sharing my stories with you and hearing how my characters have touched you and how you’ve cheered them on, cried with them, and even wanted to knock some sense into a few. Your encouragement has inspired me to continue on my writing journey. All the late nights, missed events, and looming deadlines have been worth it, knowing these stories have entertained and stayed with you long after the book was finished. Michelle XO
It was shocking that this story would be 3 ways because on Fletcher's book, Bryan never ever mentioned before and I thought Shaw was smitten or at least has feeling for Kyle but nope, I don't think so because he was already in sexual relationship with Bryan.
I think Shaw was more interested and in lust with Bryan rather than Kyle since both knew each other and already fooling around before Shaw met Kyle.
After all the shits Kyle have been through, he deserved happiness! Author knows best, maybe Kyle will be happy with 2 men by his side but not me!
I'm not an MMM fan so I didn't find this story appealing so DNF!
I hope and I wish Spence's story with Rick won't end up like this!

I loved this book so much. Shaw, Bryan and Kyle were such a good throuple. I enjoyed Shaw's struggle with commitment and seeing how he overcomes it. I love how Kyle kept being strong even when he felt like giving up. I love Bryan's steady presence and love for both of his men. Continuing the gripping narrative of the Fire Lake series, "Shaw," the third installment, delves into the complex life of a Navy SEAL veteran haunted by childhood trauma. As an adult, Shaw grapples with a fear of commitment, preferring to keep intimate connections casual and avoiding commitment to one person. The novel unfolds from a third-person perspective, offering a unique exploration of non-traditional relationships through Shaw's interactions with Bryan and Kyle.
Departing from the themes of the first two books, "Shaw" explores a 'throuple' or MMM relationship. Beyond romance, the story unfolds as a fast-paced suspense novel that prompts readers to reflect on the essence of love. Shaw becomes a lens through which we witness how the interplay of heart and mind opens the door to endless possibilities. Despite its brevity at less than 200 pages, the book is a worthwhile read.
I highly recommend starting with the first two novels, as the Fire Lake series is intricately connected, and each book serves as a piece in a larger puzzle. The series, not designed as stand-alone novels, concludes each installment by seamlessly passing the narrative baton to another character in the Fire Lake universe. In the final chapters of "Shaw," characters from Spencer's story (book 4) are introduced, and lingering plot lines from the preceding books are deftly addressed, adding depth and continuity to the series."

Reviewed for Love Bytes – 3.5 Hearts Tainted by his childhood experiences, Shaw isn’t one for commitment. Yet, Bryan is the regular booty call he can’t walk away from, and Kyle is the man he’s promised not to subject himself upon. When work throws in a few curved balls, Shaw finds himself in a state he never imagined – a person who cares and protects. The question is, whose arms are waiting for him to walk into? Shaw is a story told in the third person from multiple viewpoints, and I don’t believe all of them were necessary as they consist of a paragraph here, and another one there. As I read a converted pdf file, I found getting a bead on chapter construction difficult, too. Irrespective, there was the odd technical hiccup, and the memories of some events were repeated several times within a relatively short time. Technicalities aside, the story is entertaining, with a super mix of butch blokes, gripping drama, and some seriously sugar-filled moments. I found Kyle’s first experiences with horses and riding very touching. Shaw is already described as a commitment-phobe. Bryan is the quintessential solid American rancher, and Kyle is the man with a spine of steel and badly injured legs. Surrounding these super blokes is an ex-SEAL team, as tough as they are, coordinated, and protective of those they consider family. Some action involves the team on a job, highlighting the SEAL’s skillset and the dynamics between its members. It is a distraction from the budding relationship. But it’s what they do for a living, and the diversion made a nice change from some of the sweetness. Shaw is an entertaining tale full of military-turned-civilian action, laced with SEALs, cowboys, caring, protection, important journeys, helping, and a large jar of honey. I can’t say anything was a surprise, but I had fun reading. I would have scored the story higher had it not been for the technicalities, some repetition, and multiple viewpoints. This book was provided free in exchange for a fair and honest review for Love Bytes.
This is book 3 in the Fire Lake Series. I really think that you have to read book 2 Fletcher to fully understand and enjoy this book. This is the story of Shaw, Kyle and Bryan. Shaw is a member of the seal team that has joined the company. He is a commitment phobe due to the relationships his parents had. He is always a one and done kind of guy. Kyle is slowly trying to recover from his severe injuries. He is trying to heal enough to see if he will walk again. He is also dealing with PTSD. He is staying in the team house. He has latched onto Shaw as his security and friend. His brother lives there as well. Kyle's sexual orientation is not shown at first. Shaw is happy to be Kyle's friend. Bryan is a local rancher who has lost both his parents. He is in a non commitment relationship with Shaw. He feels more and wishes it was more but Shaw was upfront from the beginning. It would never be more. When he offers for Kyle to come for a theraputic horse ride, Bryan and Kyle meet. There are sparks flying every which way when all three are together. If they are ever to be in a relationship Shaw has to unpack a lot of baggage that he has from childhood. Kyle has to decide if triad is what he is interested in. Bryan wants both of them and has to see what they decide. This is their story. It is very well written and easy to read. There is a lot of action included in the story. Preventing the overthrowing of a small country. Kidnapping and attempted murder. Threats and countermeasures. It keeps things interesting. Not to mention explaining your relationship to your big brother. I really enjoyed this book. I look forward to the next book. I was really happy that Spider and Dante's team from the Boy of Brighton were included in this book.

Shaw, along with most of his team of SEALS has retired, they have formed LH Investigations, moved to Texas and are currently doing up the house they are living in. They are also all looking after Kyle, brother of Fletch who was seriously injured by his parents after revealing them to be involved in human trafficking. Life is looking better for them all but it has been tough. Shaw finds some escape in his hook ups with the hot rancher Bryan whilst tamping down on his feelings for Kyle.
Called away for a mission Shaw does at least manage to convince Kyle to visit the ranch and, at Bryan's suggestion, try riding. Bryan's grandfather, confined to wheelchair, loves his riding and they want to see if it will help Kyle. What no-one is expecting, least of all the commitment-phobe Shaw, is the attraction that is going to build between he, Bryan and Kyle. How to navigate this could be a challenge but whilst he is away on his mission the other two set up a group chat and let's just say since they all seem to be on the same page things develop from there.
Alongside the romance there is action and danger with a plot to overthrow the ruler of another country, a ruler whose daughter the team are on a security detail with. The tricks she has up her sleeve are brilliant, taking some of the element of danger away from the situation and, combined with the growing romance between Shaw, Bryan and Kyle the dark, action-filled moments have a lighter feel.
M Tasia has created the first story in a brilliant series and filled it with something for everyone; a house full of hungry men (you'll understand that reference as soon as you start reading) camaraderie, ex-military, mmm romance, humour, steam, action. It is all here, balanced perfectly and with a wonderfully happy ending which leads nicely into the next story for the next man in the team! Great reading.
Somehow I Knew This Would Be Special! M. Tasia’s “Shaw,” Book 3 in her Fire Lake MM (MMM in this case!) romance series, is beyond what I had hoped for. I was so very much looking forward to this one because something told me Shaw and Kyle were going to have a special story when I first saw their interaction in Book 2. Leave it to Tasia to exceed my expectations, tug at my heart, and drop my jaw all at once by bringing sexy rancher Bryan into the mix! Shaw is a smokin’ hot retired Navy SEAL working with the Fire Lake guys at LH Security. This self-proclaimed commitment-phobe and city boy is easing into (and LOVING) small town like in Marshall, Texas, and he has made it his mission to help his teammate’s brother heal from devastating injuries. Fletcher’s brother, Kyle - a handsome, kindhearted entrepreneur who will risk everything to protect the innocent - has survived a horrific kidnapping and is fighting to regain the use of his legs while dealing with the trauma he has suffered. Already holding back his growing affection for Shaw, Kyle is blindsided by the feelings he’s also developing for the former SEAL’s no-strings-attached lover. Bryan, in trying to help Kyle find a sense of peace as he recovers, finds that his heart is bursting for both men, and Shaw begins to rethink what he always thought his life would be like. Tasia keeps those pages turning with an element of suspense, a bit of danger, the sense of family that the LH crew has developed, and true lip-biting, heart-tugging, goosebump-inducing romance with super-steamy sexy bits and everything in between. Something pretty damned special about this one! Amazing work, M. Tasia!!!
Another great book in the Fire Lake series. This MMM suspenseful romance was incredibly sweet, action packed and sexy. I mean come on, you got the Navy SEAL, the cowboy rancher and a business man. Shaw was the reason the relationship part was so slow to start (for the most part), since he was a commitment phobe. His childhood definitely left something to be desired for him on the relationship and commitment side of things. Bryan is a hard working cowboy and rancher, just wanting his family ranch to succeed and for his grandad to be healthy. He quickly falls for Shaw and then Kyle. And Kyle, he had a lot to work through since surviving the torture his parents put him through while also having to deal with the after affects of said torture. But Shaw and Bryan are up to the task to show Kyle he isn’t a burden and he is desirable. And Bryan and Kyle are up to the task to bring Shaw around and show him commitments don’t have to be a lie. There’s a lot of action in the book, just like the previous two. Several scenes brought tears to my eyes. This one had a little more sexual intimacy between the characters but not a lot. It was definitely a slow burn for the triad, but the story picked up with Shaw and Bryan already having a casual thing. The three together tho were sweet and their connection strong. The downs to this story is the scenes from other POV’s, they weren’t necessary to the story and I would rather have only the main characters POV, but that is just a personal preference. The story was enjoyable.
Shaw is a former Marine who is now working with L&H Investigations out of Fire Lake, Texas. For a few months now, he's been having a casual sex thing with Bryan, a rancher in the area. Bryan is a former bull rider who now cares for his disabled grandfather and runs his large ranch. Because his parents were polyamorous and very open about it, apparently Shaw feels like he has to model that no-strings manwhore attitude, even though he's been getting mixed feelings towards Bryan and Kyle. The younger brother of Fletcher, who was rescued at the end of the previous book with a lot of damage to his legs, and there's doubt he will walk again. Kyle is no pushover, though he has his rough days, especially after his physical therapy, and his near nightly nightmares. Shaw bonds easily with Kyle, and eventually introduces him to Bryan, and they click as well. While Shaw is away on an investigation, Bryan and Kyle admit they have feelings for each other... and Shaw.
This was pretty thin and flimsy, even for a MMM story. The three men just kind of look at each other and go "oh yeah." No real conflict about being in a thruple. None of the three get developed very well. We get told multiple times about Shaw's parental background... but he just never deals with it. Kyle is having tremendous mental stress from healing and his PTSD... and he just doesn't deal with it. The author kind of implies that love of a good man (or two, here) will just fix them. Unreal. Even the sex scenes weren't very well depicted.
Really enjoying this series and this is my favorite so far
I am really enjoying this series and I look forward to more books to come. I’m also going to be sure to check out the author’s backlist.
I like the nature of these stories. A suspense story along with a romance. I like that the romances are low angst and missing the usual miscommunication or martyr tropes a lot of suspense romances seem to have. I think this author may have created a new sub genre…a light and fluffy suspense romance if that’s possible! The suspense part of the story has enough intrigue to keep you guessing and the teensiest bit anxious while the romance part of the story is pretty instalove and mostly smooth sailing without cliched complications.
This book is MMM which is a change of pace from the first two but it is not out of the mold set from the earlier books. We still get a loving, caring relationship that we see gradually develop into more. The emotions are always a key part of the developing relationships helping us to see the men, in this case Shaw, Kyle, and Bryan, as more than sex partners. It’s another thing I like about the series. The steamy scenes enhance the narrative rather than being a PWP book as so many MMM books end up being.
We have new characters added in this book so I look forward to seeing how they fit in with the group and what their stories are. Looking forward to the next book.
Another good story in the Fire Lake series. This is the story of Shaw, Bryan and Kyle. Shaw has a commitment phobia thanks to his parents; Bryan is the handsome rancher and Kyle is the brother of Fletcher who just went through some horrific things at the hands of his parents. Shaw and Bryan have a no strings attached relationship. However, as Kyle is recuperating from his inquiries, Shaw has taken to watching over his friends’ brother and there seems to be some feelings there, but with Shaw’s messed up past, he doesn’t think the boy needs to be subjected to him.
Emotions run high in this story as everyone tries to figure out what is most important. Shaw and Spence are out on assignment when tragedy strikes. Is this what it takes for Shaw to realize he too can love? I would definitely recommend reading the first 2 books in the series so you have the background on each of these characters, it helps to make each story make sense and you aren’t missing out on anything. I cannot wait to see if there is another story in this series – hopefully some of the other characters get their chance at love and happiness as well!

Shaw is book 3 in the Fire Lale series and, like the others in the series, it is one of those stand-alones that fit well together with the other books. This time Shaw, Kyle and Bryan come to the forefront in a menage à trois with a happy ever after ending. Kyle is still recovering from the leg injuries he received in book 2, Shaw is still afraid of commitment and Bryan is fast falling in love with Shaw even though he knows it can go nowhere. When all three get together at Bryan’s ranch so Kyle can try out horse riding they find something they never knew about each other or expected.
As they slowly make their way together towards a big bed lots of other stuff is coming down. A job protecting an ambassador and his daughter will result in some decision making and Kyle’s backstory will help cement things.
What I like about the series is how well it marries all the side plots from the previous books into a wonderful whole. I have to admit that they do push the believability envelope but as pure enjoyment they are right on the button. The characters are sassy, gorgeous and fun to spend time with.

This is a great story with strong characters, wonderful chemistry, and a bit of mystery. Shaw is ex-Navy SEAL and works for a personal security firm. He was traumatized by his parents’ relationship and hesitant to build a committed romantic relationship. The story starts with his confusion over his feelings for two men – a former CEO and a rancher/cowboy. The backstory of each main character is well-developed, and their journey as a throuple to HEA is thoughtfully crafted and well told. In between the plot twists and mystery, the author shares the story of Shaw and his men with great chemistry and sexy scenes, but the supporting characters are also well-developed. This is book 3 of the Fire Lake series, so the back story is already somewhat developed when the book starts. Not having read the first two books did not make this one less enjoyable, but I am definitely going to read the other two and find other books by this author since she’s clearly very talented. This was a really enjoyable and satisfying read. Highly recommend!

3.5 stars This is an MMM story for Shaw, Kyle and Byran. After reading the previous book there was a hint that this one would be an trios relationship.
A great start as the guys weren't happy with Rick's idea of eating healthy lol I'm sure Spence will live without his chips. This book I could feel connection between Shaw and Bryan being romantic, but with Kyle I had difficulty since there were no spark/romance with them at the halfway point in the book. The second half where the dramas and dangers as scenes play bring them closer. I really needed the romance in this to feel the connection. An okayish story for the guys to find their HEA ending.
Shaw an Ex Seal and presenty worked at the Firehouse with his team. Kyle was healing from an attack that was in the last book, now suffering from. PTSD with a questionof walking again. Byran was a rancher and Shaw's casual hookup guy but held back feelings.
I liked Shaw by M. Tasia. It's the third book in the Fire Lake series. It's an m/m/m story. I liked Shaw, Bryan, and Kyle's story. I loved the chemistry between the three and their hot scenes together. I enjoyed seeing the women that Kyle saved and how they are doing. However, to me, maybe a little bit too much of the story was focused on them. And poor Shaw kept getting shot in this story. He made it through two other stories without getting shot, but he gets hit on multiple occasions when it's his story. Well, it gave them a chance to bond between Kyle's physical therapy, learning to ride, and taking care of Shaw when he's injured. Overall, it was a great story, but I liked the first two books better.

This is a suspense filled story that has former Seals rescuing one of their brothers from torture and possible death. When Fletcher gets to reach his millionaire brother the only family member he still has anything to do with .He wants to invite him out tornado use the guys are living in as they fix it ul.But he hasn't called Fletcher back and their tech start ache King into what's going on he finds out that a missing person report was made by his brothers assistant. Now they can't reach the assistant the whole team says they are going and the sheriff Fletch has starting seeing is coming too. There are so many twists and turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page. Will they rescue Kyle? What happens when they find out that Fletchers parents are involved in human trafficking .I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
I really enjoyed this book. I read the previous book, Fletcher, and loved it. I was really invested in Kyle after the events of the last book, so I was very happy for his story here. As before, great world building. Kyle is still recovering from what happened. But there are people taking care of him and helping him through it- two of which become more than platonic. This story is a MMM romance. I saw some one-star reviews because of this. I personally love MMM. If I'm reading a MM romance, adding a third male isn't a deal breaker for me. But thought I'd put this in my review just in case. I really liked Kyle, Shaw, and Bryan as a throuple. They had great chemistry and dynamic. This book is well written and well paced. I recommend it. 5 stars.
Our tough ex-Navy Seal Shaw is about to finally find out what it really means to love with everything you have! Shaw and rancher Bryan have a no strings attached relationship that seems to be just fine for both of them. Then Shaw takes on watching over and helping Fletcher's brother Kyle heal from serious injuries. Kyle needs to regain the use of his legs. Would seem that during this time Shaw catches feelings for Kyle and Kyle catches feelings for Shaw and Bryan. So, it was time for Bryan and Shaw to admit what they really feel I received an ARC and sometimes it takes three strong men to bring out all the love and emotions! I really enjoyed the dynamic and hot chemistry of these three men together!
This is Book 3 of the FireLake series and it's only getting better. There is an attempted foreign government coup and a brilliant teen girl who blows it wide open. There is a kidnapping and multiple hospital excursions. This book is full of intrigue and deception, and multiple POVs. Including a "bad guys" chapter
In book 2, Shaw helps Fletcher save his brother, Kyle, from their psychotic father. While helping him recuperate, he starts to fall for his best friend and team mate's little brother. He already has a strong connection with his casual fling. The 3 men, together, navigate life while trying to stay alive. It's so good. At only about 187 pages there is so much going on. I couldn't put it down.
My advice: Start the series at the beginning with Brick. It introduces many of the characters in each book and although each book gives you the characters back story, you’ll enjoy each book! M Tasia is a very talented author. Plus each story holds your attention with some mystery, sexy men (in this case 3!) and hot hot sexy times. Shaw never wanted to commit to just one guy. None kept his attention for long. Plus his parents marriage did a number on how he viewed what a marriage would look like. But meeting Bryan and then helping Kyle has him looking at commitment with new eyes.
Excellent read. Loved books one, two and three so far.

I love Ms. Radians writing and truly enjoyed this addition to the series. Kyle, Fletcher's younger brother who was rescued in the previous book, is still recovering from the trauma and injuries he suffered. Shaw has feelings for him that frighten and confuse him. And then there's Bryan, who is Shaw's no-strings lover. The sparks flew between the three men from the first time they were all in the same place. The book took some unexpected turns but was a wonderful love story. And it was great to see a cameo from Dante and Spider's team. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
Never shut yourself off from possibilities. Shaw, grew up with broken parents, who failed at parenting. His value system, was flawed. He lived his life avoiding commitment. As a Vet SEAL, he has great defenses for his body and mind. What about his heart? Kyle, Vet was fighting against emotional and physical roadblocks. Will he let them stop him from living his best life? Can Bryan, Shaw and Kyle heal each other? Can they save each other? Good story. M. did an excellent job with the awakening and soothing of their souls. Excellent story. There is always room for one more. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book is well written and well-paced. The backstory of each main character is well-developed, and their journey is thoughtfully constructed and well told. The interaction between the main characters was wonderful – strong yet still very likeable, with outstanding chemistry. I especially liked the plot twists and mystery elements that were laced into the overall story line. For me the plot twists and mystery elements is what really moved the overall book up a notch! Truly enjoyable. I am really enjoying this series and I look forward to more books to come. I was provided a copy of this book by the author, and am leaving this review that reflects my opinion of the book voluntarily.
Shaw is part of our retired Navy seals living and working together as body guards and private investigators. He is a commitment phobe but has a close friendship with Kyle who was recovering from injuries received at the hands if his parents. He also has hook up privileges with Bryan a local rancher. While life, danger and closeness happens, Shaw finds himself with unwanted feelings for both of these men. It is a beautiful story of how these three men find their way to love.
Shaw, Kyle and Bryan are all dealing with issues from PTSD to not walking again. They find solace in each other and find a safe place to just be. Loved the characters, their backstories - one of which was in the last book, their personalities and trust. The storyline was well paced and packed with drama, tenderness, protectiveness, surprises, revelations and more that kept the pages turning. Beautifully written.

Shaw by M. Tasia kicks off the Fire Lake series with a hot and heartwarming throuple romance featuring ex-Navy SEAL Shaw, cowboy Bryan, and sweet Kyle. The chemistry between the trio is undeniable, and the suspense adds a nice edge to the story. While the plot moves smoothly and the connection is believable, I found myself wanting a bit more emotional depth and inner reflection from all three men. Still, it's a solid, sexy read with a satisfying happily ever after.

This is Book 3 of the Fire Lake series. For maximum enjoyment read the previous books before this one. The former Navy SEAL who doesn't believe in love and the two men who work to convince him of it.
The characters were very well written and likeable and perfectly steamy together. Plot was well developed and exciting and intense. World building continues to be solidly drawn. Overall a great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.

Drama, suspense, and a tender, menage romance all in one exceptional read. I loved the realization of Shaw's feelings towards Bryan although he tried to keep him in the friends with benefits category. The slow introduction of Kyle as a third to the relationship was also well done. There is much more to the book than their triad and the author did a wonderful job incorporating it into an action packed drama filled with intrigue and guns blazing.
Shaw, Kyle and Bryan Writing a book for multiple characters in a relationship is never easy. When they're well done, credit is definitely deserved. M/M/M books are one of my favorite reads. Some characters are so complex, they need more than one partner to make their love whole and balanced.
Another excellent part in this series. I recommend reading the first and second books as well.

Loved the book! Shaw got over his commitment issues with Bryan and Kyle. So much happening kept me reading to see what happened next. Kyle kept getting better and helping the women he saved. Bryan a rancher loved his men. But the ending that was just to say at least interesting. Great book now ready for the next book! .
