I'm just smart enough to get by and survive. I usually make the right decision after some pushing and having things explained to me once or twice. But that doesn't mean I don't take every ounce of pleasure out of the wrong decisions. Three years ago, I made the first right decision in overthrowing my father, bringing in the Bastards, and claiming the gavel for myself. That same night I reveled in the body of a barely legal Lisa McNalley, my little cousin's best friend. My business partners daughter. I made the right decision in staying away for three years. I made the right decision taking in Zane. And I took every drop of pleasure that Lisa had to give me from almost the moment she came back. I'm sure she's the right choice for me, positive she's the right choice for my son. But I know I can never be her choice, even if I have to prove it to her myself.

Born and raised in rural Illinois, Kendra Plunkett-Witt grew up surrounded by country roots and wide-open spaces that fueled her wild, overactive imagination. She began writing at the age of eleven and, by seventeen, had completed six manuscripts.

Kendra lives in Calhoun County, Illinois, on a homestead with her husband and two sons, where she continues to write while carrying on the traditions and values passed down through her family.

Much better than book one-still a lot of errors

Okay Ms Witt this is the second book I have read this week penned by you. You obviously have a talent for writing however, what is up with grammatical , spelling, and tense errors? There were fewer than your first book, but this one was still filled with them. Again, I volunteer to be your copy editor.

In my opinion, this book about Rotty and Lisa was faster paced and was true to what I believe to be MC grittiness. The characters are well developed, sub characters are fun, and I found this read to be very emotional at times.

I gave this read five stars, despite the many editorial error errors because I believe this writer has a future and talent.

Owing this series. I absolutely loved Rotty and Lisa’s story ❤️❤️❤️ Becoming President, losing his father and his direction in life Rotty pines over his obsession, Lisa. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

Hmm

I read this book in the hope it was better than the first one. While the storyline was fine for a motorcycle club genre, the absolutely horrible editing ruined the whole book. Words used wrong, lack of punctuation, no sentence structure ruins the flow of a book and is very distracting.

3.25 stars. Still WAY too many grammatical errors but again a good story. While Rotty fell short for me in the hero department, in the end he finally manned up. Lisa was likable but it felt like she had low self esteem to put up with him.
