Well...this story is about two co-dependent coo coos with their own issues (Uriel is pretty delulu and Rafflet is kinda a sadist) accepting their feelings for each other while simultaneously trying to exterminate monsters.
Storyline: Uriel will give anything to be with Rafflet Mogris, the commander of the Paladins, her savior, and... her master. For years, Uriel happily served as his maid until he left to enlist. Uriel waited for him for seven years before deciding to journey to be at his side in the capital.
What the world doesn’t know is Uriel is more than just a maid. In a world riddled with monsters, she has the ability to foresee monster attacks in her dreams. If being with Rafflet means Uriel must join the fight, will her desires be enough to overcome her fears?
I love when stories are character driven, and this one builds the world through the perspectives of the characters. Amazing depth to every one of the characters in here.
And the art is insanely pretty.
You may be confused as to why it seems like the author drops new characters in every so often, but if you keep reading they become important. No disposable, one dimensional characters here.
I think it's not an exaggeration to say that no one is truly sane here 😂 everyone is so greyish, esp with those tragic backgrounds. Nonetheless I still enjoyed this!
