Zeke 🥵‼️
Possessive Intent gave me what I needed..! I liked the way this story came together, I was wondering how Bellamy would bounce back after her fiancé left her on their wedding day. I was too happy that she decided to go on the honeymoon - I’m sure the trip was already paid for, lol! When Zeke and Bellamy had their encounter, I just knew they were about to take me on a journey! I couldn’t get enough of Zeke! We Stan a Seasoned Zaddy with Bank! $ Zeke was not tight with his coins when it came to Bellamy. However, this was not all sunshine and roses, Zeke has a secret that almost ruins their relationship. I felt bad for Zeke; was he wrong, yes.. but Bellamy went a bit overboard isolating him the way that she did. But that’s just my opinion.. lol. I loved the chemistry between Zeke and Bellamy. I liked the background plot with Bellamy’s dad and his secrets and the role her ex played. I loved the way that Zeke went so hard for his family- as he should have! Bellamy definitely had the right one because Zeke was not playing about his unborn baby, IYKYK! Unique continues to surprise me with her storytelling! I so loved this book!

Amazing
I need me a Big Zaddy Zeke. I loved him from the beginning. He was straight Alpha but was so open with her at the same time. They were soo cute together, and their friends were the best. The only thing missing for me was why did 'Auden leave, but it wasn't their story so I respect it.

We do not meet Bellamy under the best of circumstances/ I knew then, that no matter the outcome the way her trifling fiancé treated her let me know that he would NEVA redeem himself in my eyes!!
But it was the way Bellamy handled all of the drama of that situation that let me know that she would be okay, she would recover and heal and HONEYYYYY heal she did because EVERYONE needs a Ezekiel Carr aka Zeke aka Big Daddy Zeke in their life!! From their first encounter he was mesmerizing, just one of those characters that pulls you into the story, it's like you could hear his voice and feel every emotion he wanted to pull out of you!!
These two together scorched my kindle! Obviously their chemistry is straight fire but it's even the way they moved in the quiet moments that was breath taking. Now when the shit hit the fan I was super stressed and although I don't agree with the choice Zeke made I was really upset at the way Bellamy aka "cakes" chose to handle it.
Between her shady ex, her dad and Zeke we have a whole lot of lies and secrets happening and I was definitely down for the drama. I'm so glad Bellamy had her sorors, her sisters to help her through it all, I LOVED their bond. Possessive intent kept me up super late, I couldn't put this one down but there's one question I didn't get answered......um did Zeke ever come clean to Bellamy about HIS involvement at the docks?? * side eye *

Not what I expected
For some reason, I was expecting a different kind of story. I was pleasantly surprised by what happens in this tale. A wealthy businessman arrives in a small town to develop a casino by attaining the local businesses at a cost they cannot refuse. So far, so good, right? That is where the plot thickens with the store owner, the businessman, and his daughter. Yes, this one was a good story.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN EXCITED ABOUT A BOOK ENDING ON A CLIFFHANGER, ESPECIALLY WHEN I DON'T KNOW WHEN I'LL GET A PAST 2, BUT FOR THIS ONE RIGHT HERE, I'LL WAIT FOR THE FOLLOW-UP.
As always Queen Unique did her motherfudgesicklestix thang, Oh-kay😜🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. This book had me on the edge off my seat from the beginning, like😳👀👀👀.
I thought Boss was the ni**a, shiiddd, Zeke is Zaddy fr fr with his silver fox a**🤣. Granted he had some of his daddy traits when it came to him going after what he wanted and not communicating properly. Other than that he was loving, nurturing and protective like his mom. I'm glad he didn't allow his daddy hateful black soul keep him from embracing love when he found it. When Bells left him and then iced him out of everything concerning the baby I wanted to fight her ass 😤. Although it took those papers to get Bells to take the time to actually hear him out, I'm glad she got her ish together. Cause she had bae out here lost in love, but knowing what to do, lol.
Tay, Erryn, and Lamont were true friends. They kept it real rather their friends were right or wrong.
Now Marlyn bi**h a** got his karma in the worst way. Ol hating a** thought she'd run back to him after he called himself snitching to her daddy, NOT🤣🤣🤣🤣. I mean he did the unthinkable when he let her the way he did, ain't no coming back from that lol bih. Now he stuck in an unhappy marriage, gotta see Bells living her best upgraded life and answer to her husband at work😳. That's the best karma ever.

Miss Bellamy really went through it when her dog ass ex did her dirty! But in travels she runs into Ezekiel Carr, and her life is turned upside down! Whew! Can you say intense? That BDE from Zeke was jumping off the pages, had me looking around making sure he wasn’t giving me instructions! It is something about a man who has the ability to make you bend to his will, with just his words! Zeke was a brilliant business man, who had everything he needed in life, until he met Bellamy! She called out to him, making him feel some things that were foreign to him. His pursuit game was strong, and there was no way she could resist him! Their chemistry was smoldering! Now, I wish that Zeke had taken the time to tell Bellamy his reasoning for being in NBP, and the connection to her father. That situation blew the hell up, just as I thought, and it make you wonder if Bellamy would ever forgive him! I knew he was wrong for the ish he did, but I felt so bad for him! 😢 Soooooooo……… I have a strong feeling that this is just the beginning! Zeke is going to make life hell for Marlyn, and the situation with Belair and Mr. Warren? Hmmmm….. Great read! Will have to check out more of her catalog! 👍👍👍

Leetta, Donna, and Smoke know that Zeke was handling the situation wrong and it was going to blow up in his face. Marlyn came off like a vindictive, jealous a$$ punk. First of all he Bellamy at the altar saying that he wasn't in love with her turned around and marry a girl within three weeks. Then see at his sister party and was butt hurt all because she moved along. Second snitch to her daddy because he didn't love his wife and wanted her back. Erynn was the scary friend. Tayla was the friend of would go to war with you. I want to see where this situation with her and Auden is going. Donna should leave his father. His father know he was wrong for using Donna key to questioning him about what he's doing and what he knows about love? I hope he looks for mama.

I wish the storyline was fleshed out more regarding Bells dad underground activities and Zeke activities with Rut. It would have been interesting to see how they all came about IJS.
Bells was a lot to take in and petty as hades. After her fiancé broke off their wedding on their wedding day she got very liberated and travelled the world and got her groove back.
Due to Zeke not explaining to Bells his purpose for being in her town and when she found out all hades broke loose. Bells took it too far on how she handled the situation and it took Zeke going to the extreme for her to get back some common sense.

Just One Flaw…
I was really enjoying the book up until the last 20% of the book. **Spoiler Alert*** I didn’t like how mean Bellamy was to Zeek. I know she was hurt but she was acting like the baby was all hers and to not even allow him to attend not one doctor’s appointment was criminal. I lost respect for her on that because to me that tells a lot about your character. It was more important for her to be petty and vengeful than to stand on the side of honor. That made her no better than him, worst in my book, because what she did was intentional. I know he forgave her but as far as I’m concerned she didn’t deserve Zeek after she showed who she really was during her pregnancy. Anyway, other than that, it was a good book and I enjoyed it.

Great Writing But…
SPOILER ALERT
I love this author’s writing style that is the only reason I finished it and gave it five stars. Bellamy turned out to be a terrible person in my opinion. The way she handled the pregnancy and kept Zeke from coming to the Appts, cutting him out of hearing the heartbeat, feeling the first kicks, the gender reveal and would have kept him from the baby shower if her people didn’t curse her out. Then she had the audacity to get mad when Zeke filed for joint custody and actually physically attacked him. Zeke deserved way better than her. She turned into a whiny, vindictive, brat without any goals outside of birthing a child. Bellamy was truly disappointing.

Great Book!!!!!
This is my first book by this author, but I am definitely a fan now! This was a really good book. A passionate encounter that was followed by a chance meet again led to a soul deep love for Bellamy and Zeke. They have both been hurt by love, though in different ways, so they were originally only interested in their physical connection. But their connection was so much deeper than physical and they truly were each other’s one. The secondary storyline of Zeke and Bellamy’s father’s business dealings was interesting and I kind of wish we read more about that. But this was still a great story and I enjoyed it tremendously! 5 ⭐️ Stars

All I can say is that I look forward to seeing more of Zeke & Bellamy! I loved the storyline from start to finish! If you're a hopeless romantic this is for you! You will find love, happiness, abandonment issues, Jealousy, family issues and some ride or die friendships. Zeke was a corporate thug who fell in Love with Bellamy aka Cakes. Bellamy was a young woman who thought she had life figured out until the unexpected happen! In the end all received their happily ever after, but there's more to the story and I look forward to it!

Chhhiiilleeee,I feel like this was a sign from the Lordt telling me to get me a Cat Daddy! Listen Zeke’s dominating and powerful personality was everything but there’s nothing I love more than seeing how soft a real man becomes when he meets his match. The circumstances were sketchy and he definitely paid for his poor choices but he’s still That 🥷 I really love this authors creativity and writing style and she did not disappoint. Looking forward to more from her this year

Definitely not as good as other books you’ve written. I get that Zeke hurt Bellamy and lied to her, but to exclude him from her pregnancy was ridiculous. She was a bish to Zeke. Regardless of what happened, him being a father had nothing to do with what they had going on. Her father was just as wrong and narcissistic. Marlyn had the audacity to be be upset with Bellamy when he left her at the alter and then decided he wanted her back because his wife wasn’t he thought she should be. This could have been better.

Unique
This book was so good it was everything from the beginning to the end. I cried when Bellamy left Zeke though I just felt like he should have told her everything though. I was so happy when they made up though. She put Zeke through it at the end especially when she went back home though and she didn’t allow him to be a part of the most important moments doing her pregnancy though. I can’t wait to read more about them though.

This was really good! Chile the chemistry between Zeke and Enjoli was something else. I loved their connection from the beginning. Marlyn was a straight sucka! How you gonna get mad because Bells with somebody else?! You left her and got what you deserved in the end! When the truth came out about Zeke my emotions were all over the place, but I loved the rollercoaster Unique put me on. I can't wait to read what's next!!!

Ok now… this was good at first but the end 😤😤😡😡… definitely a 4 1/2 stars!!!!
This was so good. Going for a full 5 stars with mention for more, but the turn of event specially Bellamy being so childish, so petty, selfish and omg 😱 everything else, this bought it down several pegs. Zeke is zaddy, bae, and any other sexy name for a black king! Even when he wasn’t ready for love, he took care of Bellamy. When he fell in love, his level of care multiplied. I’m glad he and Bellamy got over that hump of lies and mistrust. This story was everything!❤️❤️

This book took me through it! Secrets, lies and manipulation. That’s what this love story with an eventual happy ever after, was all about. The H was a completely dominant alpha male. The h could hold her own, but acted less than an expected 33 year old at times…. Frustratingly so…. But I loved it…❤️

Bellamy and Zeke
This book had my attention from the beginning. I love me some Zeke and Bells. Zeke needed Bells to break the ice around his heart and she indeed broke it. Now I have a feeling this is just the beginning of these characters.

Zeke was a thorough man through and through. His pursuit of Bells was everything. I love a story with karma but to see her ex get dealt a dose he will have to deal with for years to come was poetic justice💜
