Paige King, a Ph.D. in forensic psychology and a new arrival at the FBI’s elite BAU unit, has an uncanny ability to enter serial killers’ minds. But she is stumped when a series of victims are found staged in odd ways in public places. What message is this killer trying to send? Might Paige herself be his next target?
A complex psychological crime thriller full of twists and turns and packed with heart-pounding suspense, the PAIGE KING mystery series will make you fall in love with a brilliant new female protagonist and keep you turning pages late into the night. It is a perfect addition for fans of Rachel Caine, Teresa Driscoll and Robert Dugoni.

Another pleasant addition to the Paige King series. If Paige and Christopher can't resolve their differences, the killer could get away on this Book 6 of the series. Paige needs to focus, especially given this killer is binding his victims unusually. Getting into his head is going to be the key to finding him. Cliff-hanger of an ending between Paige and Christopher where Paige makes a rash decision to leave BAU to separate from him but they experience something that will keep tied for a lifetime.
Paige and Christopher are not seeing eye-to-eye which is compromising the search for the culprit, and this is a difficult case where the victims are found tied in the strangest ways, the local authorities are not willing to help or divulge the problem in order not to lose tourists. Paige puts herself in the killer's mind and an unexpected outcome arises as well as a cliffhanger ending. Great entertainment! I thank the author for this ARC.
I liked the plot, again I really love Blake Pierce's writing style.
Paige wasn't as "boy crazy" with her partner, and they both realized that being so focused on each other and their feelings ALMOST cost them the catching of the murderer. Which was a not twist.
I would love to see Paige not focus on him at all, and focus on herself and career and become a bad bitch, ya know?
Paige and Chris are having differences of opinions about this new case. They just can't connect and Paige decides it's probably best for her to transfer. They struggle to get this case solved. Then something happens at the end of the story to make you wonder, "Will Paige really follow through with the transfer she requested?"
