My team at STAHP likes to joke that my to-do list has a to-do list: The joke’s on them, because I prefer spreadsheets for maximum efficiency. And if my master spreadsheet has a list of individual ones? Well, that’s nobody’s business but mine.
As Saint Montoya‘s personal assistant, my ability to be two steps ahead and thrice prepared for anything is not only valued but an absolutely necessary skill. My savvy competency, along with a divine cup of coffee, is the secret to my success.
My personal life is as skillfully maintained as the professional. I’m happily single and not at all in the market for a mate, even if members of our team have started finding the ones fated to be theirs. Mates are messy… not to mention distracting.
But if I were in the market for one? I wouldn’t choose an irritating Irish mobster who I meet while he’s, erm, working. Too bad Patrick O’Malley isn’t what I’m looking for… his fox is too adorable. And the cocky, redheaded alpha isn’t too awful.
This is the third book in an mpreg series about the attempts of a dangerous group of ruthless vigilantes to go lawful… with dubious success. You can expect to find naughty, knotty scenes of steamy passion, along with a lot of potty-mouth language and satisfactory violence when bad guys get what’s coming. Don’t worry, you’ll still find all the fluffy mpreg feels and crazy antics you’d expect from Susi Hawke and Crista Crown
I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!
I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.
As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.
I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! I only send out NL's to announce new releases or important announcements. I also like to note in my NL what I'm currently reading along with a cover shot and the link for anyone who is interested.
I've been putting off reading this as it came out right before Susi passed and I didn't want to end these series of books.
I'm glad I finally got around to reading it, as it was a cute fast read.
Yes, its a fated mate, instalove, heck - they did not even know each other before the mating bite, and the baby shows up three months later.
But I still liked it.
In this one we have STAHP helping the Novaks and the Alphabits bring down child kidnappers. I really wish that they had left that part out and just focused on the relationship as it seemed to not exist. That is the reason this was not a five star read.
Also, this is not really a stand alone, as if I had not read every single book in this world, I would've been so lost. There was just so many people crammed into such a short story.
I hate that this book release was Susi Hawke's last and she will be missed by all. I loved her creative mind and how she has created so many great characters. Rest in peace and know you have touched so many!!!
This was a bittersweet read. This book was everything I love about this series and all the ones it spun off from and so loved it but knowing it was Susi Hawke’s last release made it difficult going in. Lots of love to Susi’s family and Crista Crown.
Someone is taking shifter children. Right in the middle of it all Patrick meets his mate Ronan. So an O'Malley is mated to the assistant of the head of STAHP.
I had hoped to review after reading all 4 but... I liked this...a continuation of finding out who is with who. I was surprised Antonio retired to be a stay-at-home Dad and pass the reigns to his brother Saint. Saint really changes Stahp by insisting they follow the Nemo rule Fish are friends not food. Shifters may not always be friends but Saint does not want anymore cannibalism. Not everyone agrees. Saint is the first to meet his mate, Pavlo, so sweet; an honorary Novak but a true Stanislav. Book 2 is about these 2 brothers who were taking down all the Mom and Pop diners in various ways. Percy, whose parents owned one is a journalist trying to get to the bottom of the story. Tank was at the site and had just put him up on a car. The restaurant across the street, also a Mom and Pop blew up. Percy was thrown. It took awhile for Tank's tiger to find him but as soon as they did, they mated. The cool thing about Percy was he was a meerkat and meerkat are always scanning this way and that. So later when a very pregnant Percy was taken, every meerkat was on the scene to help and they got him back! Book 3 OH I was so happy it was Patrick's turn. He sniffed his mate at a shootout where his mate had come to take a piss. His mate, the very buttoned up and organized Stahp assistant to Saint, Ronan. Unfortunately, he had put some whiskey under his nose. He couldn't smell. They had a car chase through Chicago with Ronan going over the bridge and after grabbing a tool to bang out the window, saved Ronan. They called a driver who took them to a villa to mate. Patrick had of course thrown Ronan's phone out the window. All forces got together Alphabits, Stahp, O'Malley's, Novak's to break up a child trafficking ring except it was only picking shifters...and shifters that were rare. They saved their kids all of them...even working with crime bosses, vigilantes, and the law or closer to it with Alphabits and Team ALPHA. I love seeing them all work together for the betterment of their city. It is what they all want. Highly recommend!
This is a unique series with a bunch of wild and crazy cats (& more! Lol!) that you can't help but love. These two are the definition of opposites, which means that they're perfect for one another. It's certainly going to be interesting! This dynamic author duo has created fun, energetic, and entertaining stories that you definitely won't want to miss. I would highly recommend reading the following series: Team ALPHA, Alphabits, The Family Novak, and finally STAHP. All of these series can be read separately, however there is a lot of character crossover between all of them, as well as where STAHP was initially introduced. There are numerous connections within all of these groups and families, which means that you'll get even more of your favorite characters. They're all absolutely fantastic stories that I know you'll love and enjoy. I'm hoping that there will be many more books in this series in the near future. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding authors.
Love this series and the other interconnected ones too!
Patrick and Ronan are the definition of opposites attract which triggered my laughter often while reading their romance! As true mates, it soon became apparent that they were made for one another! I enjoyed every moment of their mate bond strengthening along with the ties to the other series and groups. Here the Novaks, the O’Malleys, team Alphabits and Stahp were present! This was a delightful read and I can’t wait for the next installment of this series with STAHP led by Saint Montoya! Susi Hawke as a storyteller is beloved and missed! My prayers are extended to her family, friends and fellow devoted readers. I have faith that Crista Crown will continue to carry on the various series well! Until the next delightful read…
I'd give this book 5 stars, but the second half seemed a bit hurried. It's funny and sweet, with a little action and dramatic romance.
Patrick and Ronan start off on the wrong foot. Ronan quickly forgives Patrick, so that's just the beginning. Then there's a big group effort to stop a kidnapping ring. It gives everyone something to do while Ronan is pregnant, and seems appropriate for so many characters we've met in previous books to show up in Susi Hawke's last book.
All the conflict is just wrapped up so quickly, it seems too easy. On the other hand, if you want action and romance without angst, you'll enjoy this book. It's also great for Hawke fans, since so many of her characters from 3 different series are in it.
The first "meeting"of Ronan and Patrick was hilarious since Ronan couldn't smell his mate Patrick and he on the other hand went nuts because he knew he was his mate and couldn't shift back from a fox and tell him. His pursuit of Patrick was nutty even when he crashed the car and sent his car into the river. Their first time having sex/mating was hot and then the families show up to make sure they were alive. I loved their relationship and the O'Malleys are all nuts and what chaos but fun chaos. I loved everyone working together to save the shifter kids and then Maeve's birth(broken fingers-ouch!). I loved that Patrick decided to be a stay at home dad for a bit. I can't believe Susie Hawke is gone. I loved her books so much.
Ronan is Saint's assistant and keeps all of STAHP in line, but he walks in on an O'Mally shakedown during a night out. Patrick can't believe that he has met his mate, but his mate doesn't seem to recognize him, so he starts to chase him down, which results in a chase through Chicago streets. Once Patrick finally chases him down, they get to spend a couple of days together before a case of shifter children being taken lands in their laps, and they start investigating.
Patrick is a funny guy and tries to make everything into a joke around everyone but Ronan. Ronan, while an omega, is fierce and doesn't take crap from any Alpha. The two complimented each other well and helped to make each other better. I'm sad that this series will end due to Susi's passing.
Susi Hawke and Crista Crown give us an absolutely amazing book in the STAHP series!! Ronan and Patrick are helping to stop a child trafficking ring while dealing with learning each other and with the arrival of thier child. Beautifully written with complex characters and plot twists, this book is sure to become a favourite! I loved reading it and highly recommend it! Don't miss out on this book!!
Loved the feistiness of this book. This is an insta love fated mates book. It’s fuzzy it’s warm it’s funny, it’s A great read after you thread something really heavy. I loved watching these two trying to figure out how they were going to navigate coming from two different clans but it was cool watching them work it out. I love how all three series kind of came together. The writing was good smexy was good and right characters are from previous books that they were fun.
This book is everything we've come to expect from crista and susi. I've been waiting for Patrick 's story since he first popped up in the Novak series. This book did not disappoint! Ronan and Patrick are adorable together and I was sad to see the book ending.
Thank you Christa for finishing this book and giving us Patrick's story!!!
The story of Ronan, Saint’s PA getting his own book was typical fun, family and sweetness. Knowing that this was Susi’s last book is incredibly Sad. So pleased Crista plans to continue this world but can’t help but feel for her and that painful journey going forward.
I fell in love with these authors collab with Team Alpha and have loved every connected series. It was also my first Susi Hawke read as well. Once again this did not dissappoint Patrick and Ronan's story was loads of fun, heated moments and lots of action. Thank you Susi Hawke for sharing your stories with us. RIP Susi 💔
The chase Patrick gave trying to catch Ronan was my favorite. It was so Patrick. One thing I truly love about these books by Sushi Hawke and Crista Crown is the birthing is real, its not some perfect fairy tale where nothing goes wrong. I loved that The O'Mallys, Novaks and Alphabits all came together in this story
Love the series from alpha to knott path .makes me want each one to find their own like ian nacho anyway thank you looking forward to the audio of these books .because. i purchase bothe e book in audio. For times i dont want to read. Kinda hope Stahp does still eat the bad guy once in a while to keep rep....
This was hard to read. Susi was an amazing writer but teamed up with Crista and watch out. But she's gone and the team won't be back. This book helped. I love the characters the family they create and how this flows with each series.
I absolutely adored this book. The whole series is fantastic. From the first book in the Alpha series to this book in the Staph series. I would highly recommend them to everyone
Patrick was just crazy as I remembered from previous books! But this story felt rushed. He and Ronan had very little private time. It just didn't click for me. But I still love these guys!!
Totally recommend this book! Characters are engaging and love how characters from the other series’ are brought into play. Amazing story, can’t wait for the next book release in this series.
I had issues with the climax of the last series but this one came back on top! I’m so happy Patrick finally got his made and Ronan is the perfect one to keep him in line. This was a fun read!
This is Ronan & Patrick’s story. I was very excited to read his book since I love characters like Ronan & him getting mated to O’malley is just perfect. This book was a mix of lot of chaos, humour and good family time. It was fun to read-visit other characters as well.
Patrick, Patrick, Patrick... The man makes me shake my head. The loud jokester who always has something to say acts without thinking when he scents Ronan. Why would you chase down a guy on the freeway?!? Ronan, calm, cool, collected Ronan has all the self-control that Patrick lacks. He also sees the man Patrick is behind his joking. Seeing the guys of STAHP and the O'Malley's together is nothing but chaos. I loved every moment. Highly recommended author and series
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I’ve been waiting for Patrick’s story since he was first introduced in the Family Novak Series. I thought Ronan and Patrick were awesome together and their chemistry was off the charts, as well as hot as hell. Ronan and Patrick’s meet cute was hilarious. Especially how he chased his mate down in his birthday suit, got into a car chase with him which ended with Patrick crashing into Ronan’s car, with Ronan’s car ending up in the Chigaco River. Patrick ended up saving Ronan.
Only Patrick would completely f*ck up meeting his mate so badly. Ronan couldn’t scent Patrick while he was in the alley way and he’d rubbed Japanese Whisky under his nose to block out his sensitive sniffer while meeting his friend for a drink in a shifter bar. He though Patrick was pretty easy on the eye, and his fox was adorable as f*ck and total cuteness overload until Patrick started yapping and jumping around. The banter between these two was pure gold. I loved seeing the real Patrick shine through when he dropped his walls around Ronan. Ronan was the only one that Patrick allows himself to be vulnerable around which isn’t surprising since he’s safe with his mate.
I was so right and that I thought that Patrick needed a keeper lol. He doesn’t mind switching things up between them, and really enjoys it when Ronan is in charge. I think the fates matched these two perfectly, as Patrick totally needs a grounding force, and Ronan needs someone that’ll help him relax and laugh, and Patrick has an awesome sense of humour. I smiled and laughed throughout. I enjoyed getting snippets of STAHP, Team Alphabits, the Novak’s and the O’Malley’s during this story. This story was very bitter sweet, considering Susi’s passing (rest in peace Susi, you’ll be greatly missed). This is the final book that’s been written by both Susi and Crista.
I think that Crista is a complete and utter rockstar, as she’s planning on finishing this series and the Knotted Paths series by herself. There will just be a longer wait between release dates, since she’s writing each book on her own. I know that as a fan I’m really grateful that Crista has decided to do this, and I have no doubt that that’ll be on par with those that Susi was part of writing. I’m hoping that she’ll take time to grieve the loss of her dear friend Susi. I’ve already pre-ordered book 4, STAHP In The Name of Love. I wonder if it’ll be Ronan’s “brother” Ian’s turn to find love, and an insta-family? I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and both authors to everyone.
Fate throws you a foxy mate... what's a cat to do!?
OMG what a fantastic book! I have been waiting for it. I was thrilled! It has everything... child abductions, alliances, unexpected mates, chaos, humor, and lots of sexy times. My old friends welcomed me with open arms. STAHP, the Alphabits, the Novak's, the O'Malley's... O'Malley... are all here! It starts with a crash and never let's up. This is Patrick and Ronan's story. Come. Join the chaos as boisterous families unite for a just cause. Ooh, you are gonna love this book! I know another book is in the works. But without Susi, Crista will have to carry on alone. R.I.P. Susi. I will miss you.
