I didn’t enjoy this as much as the first one. The writing is honestly really bad and the spice is not great. The plot is whatever but everything is super rushed because the book is only 150 pages. I might continue if my library gets the rest of the books.
Even worse than the first, I’m only continuing reading to see how the story ends.
How come the witch who cursed the pack was named Temperance in the first book, but now her name is suddenly Abigail?
The only thing I do like about this one is we are getting to know more about the characters and their personalities. There are many plot holes that I’m hoping the final book will fill. Otherwise I’ll have wasted my time.
I truly do not enjoy writing bad reviews. I also truly believe this story could’ve been exceptional (although it could’ve been one 300ish page book). However, it feels like it was thrown together without much care and effort put into the details. If more time had been spent editing and perfecting it, I may not feel as I do. Also, please have your books proof read multiple times.
I really enjoyed this one. The King Warlock is a whack job. I can’t believe they pulled it off and are all together. Monique, Xander, Kyle and Michael will hopefully get to enjoy their new life together. And take out the warlock before disaster strikes. Book 3 the last of this series coming up. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊
This is one of the worst written books I’ve ever read I didn’t think it was possible for it to be worst then the fist book but somehow the author did the impossible. If I could give this book 0 stars I would but unfortunately that’s not possible so I’ll have to settle for 1.
Reign of Wolves is the second book in Amelia's Wicked Wolves series filled with fun witches, hot wolves and wicked warlocks.
Monique is just the sweetest she can be but naivety shows in this book a little bit but her love for her guys shines through and toughens her up just the tiniest bit. Xander and Kyle are committed to Monique but somehow understanding when Michael shows up. They're thinking of Monique and her feelings and not their own when it comes to the Michael situation. Speaking of Michael, I didn't like the vibe he gives off at first but turns out Michael is a really decent guy and somehow manages to find his way through this complicated situation with a little ease.
Not gonna lie the story is a little fluffy but that's okay, fluffy doesn't mean bad and not everything needs to be dark and complex. It did have its interesting points, like the realm itself has me asking a lot of questions and Michael's family for sure has a lot of dark secrets. My favorite thing about this book is the magic. The more I see how the witches' and warlocks' magic work the more I'm loving it. A mix of incantations, potions, and visualization, the easy at witch somethings are created and how the magic is used are all fantastic.
Reign of Wolves was a fun and entertaining read full of magic and a little mayhem. Monique's story concludes in the third book Throne of Wolves.
I read book one before starting this book so i could start at the beginning. I loved the story of the two wolves going to find the witch who cursed their pack and finding Monique instead. The 2nd book picks up right after with Michael showing up who is a warlock who's been gone for years and came home to claim her. Now the three men have to figure out how to share her. And then there's the issue of michaels father, the high warlock, who is using the wolves blood to get more power.
This story was awesome and intriguing and im ready for the next book in this series to find out what happens!!
Xander and Kyle are wolf shifters who found their fated mate, Monique. Although Monique is a witch, the more shocking realization had been that they were supposed to share her. With that settled, another shock was heading their way when Michael, heir to the High Warlock, arrived with the intention of making Monique HIS wife.
When Michael finds out his father’s real intentions for the wolves, he will need to decide where his loyalties lie. Will he go along with his father? Or will he stay and protect his pack-mates?
I loved this story. It’s a continuation from book 1 so you need to read that to really get what’s going on. It’s also ends on a cliffhanger but you’ll want to see what happens next. Monique was shocked when she was the fated mate to two wolf shifters. She had finally wrapped her head around it when her childhood crush came back and claimed her as well. She now has three mates. But everything is not alright in her realm. Will they figure out what’s going on and stop it?

Despite it not being a big book, the author does do a great job at laying down the plot with smut scenes and still be a decent book is amazing. I'm interested to see what happens in the next book, I mean the high warlock is obviously still after them and know that they have an like 200 males to get the blood out of.
This story line moves fast and we gain a lot of knowledge with the multiple POV’s. It could be longer and more detailed, but I’m enjoying this series very much! 🌶 3/5 💖 4/5
Certainly better than the first book. Especially with all three of her mates in the picture.
In the second book we actually see the story pick up and situations escalate. It definitely made me look forward to what the next step entails, and whether or not they will escape alive and free.
Better then book 1 for me. I still missing world building, how is there magic like witches or shifters in this world? The sex scene was hot and i love it. Going on book 3 now.
