A curse to break, three men to love and a pack to save from extinction.
Moving in with the wolf pack has taken some getting used to. Everyone is really suspicious of Michael and I, and the boys are having trouble getting along.
When the Alpha wolf finally admits to being the cause of the curse we think things will get better, but there's another bombshell waiting to go off.
And this one might be the catalyst that undoes everything.
Amelia Shaw looks like a good girl... but she's not. She loves men... and sex... and all things fantastical. Read her stories for paranormal romance with perfect men and imperfect women. Fast paced, action packed and character driven stories with guaranteed happily ever afters...
Amelia writes more erotic stories under the pen name, Tamsin Baker, and historical romances under the pen name, Fiona Miers.
Holy cow that wrapped up quickly and efficiently, I’m so glad the plot strings mostly tied together. I’m pretty sure the Aloha’s witch was named Genevieve for the first two chapters then it switched to Margaret or something 🤷🏻♀️. 🌶 4/5 yay for shower scenes! 💖 3/5 I was left wishing for more of a moment with the big boss fight.
Amelia Shaw's Wicked Wolves concludes with Throne of Wolves. Monique and the guys have escaped the high warlock's clutches and now have to contend with the wolves. Things are never easy, this book had drama, high steam, and magic.
This has to be one of the most miserable packs I've ever seen, they are a bunch of grumpy sad-sacks. The pack is cursed instead of telling their members they keep quiet. Instead of finding a solution they sit and do nothing. Instead of being open-minded to possibilities, they are rude and dismissive. They irritated me to no end, not a single one of them was welcoming.
Micheal and Monique are sticking with Xander and Kyle, they are a family and have bonded as such so the two of them are trying to make the best of it. As for Kyle he sees the pack for what they are and is willing to do anything to keep his mate. As for Xander, he is struggling, kinda lost himself for a minute, trying to please the council. Things prevail and they do get their HEA.
The story was fast past and revealed a lot of things about the curse and about the past in general. Some things were touched upon but didn't Amelia really didn't dive into them which has me wondering. At the end, there was loads of action and conflicts got resolved.
I really enjoyed Throne of Wolves, it was an entertaining read and wrapped things nicely for Monique and her guys while leaving it open to expand the world, Amelia has said as much. I do have a few questions that didn't get answered but maybe they will if the next story that's set in this world.
This book was good. I am glad I finished this trilogy if for nothing then to say I did. Unlike the others in this series I felt like this one was slower to get to the point. The ending was rushed and finished within a few chapters. I wish we could have gotten more into what happened after the big battle. Speaking of the battle. Michael’s father attacked the pack, obviously but the actual battle didn’t last long. Overall, I enjoyed this series and I am giving it 4 stars because I liked the first two books more than this one. This book kind of dragged on for awhile before anything really happened and that’s okay but I wanted more to be honest.
Wow!! What a wonderful way to end the series. They've made it back to the pack but they treat Michael and and Monique badly due to their magic. Things seem to be going ok after Monique ends up pregnant, but the high warlock has come back for vengeance!!
I loved the twist with michaels mother!!! So awesome!! Loved this series!!
Seriously? How many times can ONE witches name change in 3 books? Temperance, Abigail, Genevieve, Marguerite. All for one single witch. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say no one actually proof read, beta read, or ARC read this series. Otherwise they’d have told the author about all of the problems with it before it got sent out for the public. Jeez.
Also to note: the switch from Genevieve to Marguerite happened in the same book. How does that even happen?
I was excited and expecting the final fight between the high mage and the protagonist. However, I was a bit disappointed with the fight. It was too quick and it did not give me the satisfaction that I craved. Although unexpected, I really liked how Michael did get his mother back in the end.
The news about the baby made me happy that the pack finally found a happy ending.
Even though she was having a hard time in the beginning, living in the pack. She stays and works it out, and then the whole pack starts to care about her. I also liked that she didn't leave her mates when there was a fight. She came and help them and save the pack with her mates.
I read this series because I felt nostalgic about the time when I was a 13 year old girl spending time until 3am reading fantasy stories on wattpad. The first 2 books kinda satisfied that part of me so by this point I am just fed up with this practicaly no stakes, simple writing, flat character type of books. Time to move on.
I loved this series so much. Only issue I had was the warlock’s sister’s name. Genevieve then became Marguerite. Sheesh make up your mind on the name. Otherwise it was a terrific series. I enjoyed the storyline. Mom came back to life. Dad is a pile of ashes 😂😂😂 On to the next series of stories. 😊😊😊😊😊💜💜💜💜💜🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
The book is really good as well. Better than the first two. However, I think the name of the Fated Mate, also the sister to the High Warlock and Michael’s Aunt, keeps changing throughout the story.
Absolutely brilliant series hooked from the start couldn't put them down superb well written and a great cast of characters and story line absolutely loved it
