Finding my way back to Axel, well, him finding me, it’s been as if we’re sailing on cloud nine. But what happens when another woman comes into the picture claiming she’s Axel’s and that they share a child together.
Do I believe her and her stories? Or do I trust in Axel? He claims it’s all a lie, and he doesn’t remember the woman, but tests do not lie. Do they?
Our lives were torn apart for years, and now that we’re finally happy and have our little family, this happens. My tears are all I have in the dark while I figure out what to do or where we go from here.
This is the same couple as Axel's Promise and it was odd. I mean it was entertaining if you can overlook that the author basically just reversed their first book. This time around Axel has the stalker that is trying to kill Faith.
I found that super weird, they even hinted that Axel’s shooting might’ve been aimed for Faith to get her out of the way for his stalker the EXACT same explanation we were given for his shooting in the first book except Harrison was trying to get him out of the way.
Either way the blurb is VERY misleading.
Bottom Line- Repetitive in a way, but I liked it. These plots have potential to be great, but they are executed so shallowly that it prevents any feels, drama, or angst. Here we have a wife that receives something that should’ve been EXCRUCIATING to see, but we get nothing because it brushed over so quickly. They barely even discuss it. The OW could’ve caused issues, but she’s never on page until the very end for one page. There’re so many lost opportunities to dig up drama.
3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK, or decent reads. ========================= You have to read the previous books to understand the story. It does not hold up as standalone reading. There is no depth to the story or character development. I'll go back to the beginning of the series and see what happened. I don't know if it will be worth it.
3.75 stars— FAITH’S TEARS is the twelfth instalment in EC Land’s contemporary, adult INFERNO’S CLUTCH MC erotic, MC, romance series . This is VP Axel DeVere, and his wife/ol’ lady Faith. FAITH’S TEARS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.
WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Axel and Faith), covering several years in the life of our couple, FAITH’S TEARS follows the romance and relationship between VP Axel DeVere, and his wife/ol’ lady Faith. Faith fell in love with Axel years before-still in high school and under aged, Axel bided his time before claiming our story line heroine, a claim that placed Faith in the direct line of fire. An attack against Axel had our hero pushing the woman he loved out of his life, out of his life for several years. Rekindling their relationship continued with announcement of their their child, a rekindling that once again marked our heroine for another attack. Desperate to protect his growing family, Axel called in reinforcements including his father who hadn’t been free for several years. What ensues is the ongoing relationship between Axel and Faith, and the potential all-out as a stalker threatens to destroy the woman Axel has always loved.
The relationship between Axel and Faith continues to develop in the face of separation and years apart. Axel has never stopped loving our story line heroine, a woman who is struggling to move on from the past. Issues of trust including Axel’s over zealous need to protect the woman he loves, begin to push all of Faith’s buttons when her freedom is curtailed, and her life on the line. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and familiar characters including several of the previous story line couples, the return of Rico DeVere, and a rival gang threatening to take over the MC territory. The requisite evil has many faces.
FAITH’S TEARS is a fast paced, character driven story of obsession and madness, desperation and love. The premise is captivating; the romance is provocative; the characters are charismatic and dynamic.
So Axel was not my favorite of the Inferno's Clutch MC... until now. While he messed up along the way in this book, it was always with the best intentions of keeping Faith safe. I love that we could really feel his remorse and guilt for pushing Faith away years ago and his actions while they were separated. But he continues to try to make things right and never gets upset when Faith's insecurities surface from their apart. I was so glad that she finally let have Axel have it in this book - truly expressing the pain she felt when he split them up. I always liked Faith - she never came off as weak but as a woman that truly loved her husband and was lost without him when he hurt them both. And in Faith's Tears you really feel both of their fears of losing each other - and I really loved that they both didn't want to be without the other. No matter what was thrown their way, Axel and Faith didn't allow anything to come between them!
One of my favorite scenes in this book was the graveyard!! OMG I love the men of ICMC!! I'm super excited for Rico's book - he was amazing, especially with his girl, Faith!
Faith's Tears is the twelfth book in the Inferno's Clutch MC series. The story is about Axel DeVere, the VP of the club, and his "wife" Faith. This book covers their story over several years from the time they were in high school and has seen them together and apart. There is action, suspense, danger and a lot of love and more in this book. It also has members from the MC as secondary characters which help move the story along. I enjoyed this story. Even though I have not read all of the books in this series I did not have any issues reading this as a stand-alone story. All I can say is that this couple certainly deal with a lot to get their HEA.
Your heroines are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too forgiving. Like, disgustingly so. If I received a video of my partner having sex with another woman, even if it is old, I’m never looking at him the same. Especially after he left me for whatever fucking reason. If you hate women, please just say that because every heroine of yours that I’ve read so far are so disturbingly weak for their men, it’s ugly. DNF. Will be avoiding all books from this author from now on.

Good short read. First 7 chapters were basically a repeat of Faith's first book. Most of EC Lands MC books have the same gist...a jealous club girl is obsessed with a MC member..sets them up to look like they have cheated on their old lady to cause trouble...or an old lady is somehow entertained in a cult and culture is trying to take them as part of a profecy. Either way they are a fun read and I will continue to read them.
I did enjoy this book, but as the mom of twins one of my biggest pet peeve’s is when someone says that they had twins because they run on the dad’s side. That is simply not how it works.
Back to Inferno's Clutch MC and Faith and Axel. Faith and Axel have been in love for a long time but after an attack on the club, Axel sent Faith away. For years they were apart until he found her again. The two got back on track and he got his family with Faith.
Their troubles aren't over yet; this is where we return to them.
Like the rest of the series, this is a relatively quick read and while they aren't long books they pack a whole lot into them. There is drama, suspense, action, and steam. As all good motorcycle club members, these guys are fierce, protective, and completely in love with their women.
It took me a minute to put some of the pieces back together of who went with who and what had happened to them in the past.
Look forward to more from the Inferno's Clutch members. Hope to see some more of them fall as well as go back to the past couples. . . . Axel and Faith thought they had been through everything that could keep them apart. Axel's dad is finally coming home after his prison stint and he feels like his world is complete. For one moment they are truly all happy.
'Axel always tells me he can’t breathe without me and that I’m his life, but he’s my very soul. Without him in my life, I have no soul. It just shows how much we need each other to survive through each day to get to the next.'
It doesn't last though. Faith receives messages from an unknown source showing that Axel isn't as true to Faith as she would have thought. Knowing that she can't keep this to herself no matter how much it hurts she shows him. Axel is furious and determined to find out who is messing with his family.
'Without them, I’d have nothing. I’d be nothing. Our kids are my life. But Faith, she’s my soul, and I can’t live without her. She’s the very essence that runs through my veins, and if anyone else dares to cause her to shed a tear, I’ll wreak vengeance on them for each one that spills down her cheeks.'
Trouble from their past may be who is out to ruin their happily ever after. It was a threat that the club thought they had destroyed years ago but now it seems they were back from the dead. If they are back then the club will be sure that this time they take care of it once and for all.
Faith and Axel knew each other since they were kids, as she lived next door to him, and at 18 she married him...but there was trouble on the horizon with another M/C called Grave Runners who decided they wanted to take over Inferno's Clutch territory...Axel got shot by drive-by from Grave Runners...and things fell apart for Faith and Axel. Wanting to protect her, he sent her away...with no explanation, breaking her heart...he didn't know she was pregnant, and when they got back together, knew he needed to get to know both...but there is still trouble in the air, along with weird unknown numbers calling her and strange videos trying to break them up...but will they be able to overcome the trouble??? You will need to read the story to see what happens...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was so good to read. We met Faith and Axel in earlier books and whilst we didn’t completely know their story we knew a little about their history. My heart broke for Faith when Axel pushed her away in order to protect her. Faith did not know his reasoning but found herself alone and pregnant. Fast forward a couple of years and Faith and Axel have reunited only for their past to make a comeback and try to separate them. Both Faith and Axel fight for their family and their future and they will not allow anyone to break them. Lots of drama and a few interesting twists and turns had me hooked. Looking forward to reading more about them and all the family of the Inferno’s Clutch MC in books to come.

I keep giving this series a chance since the first few books were good. This was a good short read. Faith and Axel are back but dealing with an enemy who wants to take down Inferno's Clutch MC. Add in another woman claiming that she is Axel's and that they have a child together for extra drama.
The first few chapters were basically a repeat of their first book together. If you take that part out, it makes it shorter. The good news is due to that you don't really need to read the other one since the author recaps a lot of it. Like her other books lately, my issue has been the plot line goes fast and feel like there is not a lot of depth to the plot line. Not only is it fast pace, with so many characters it's hard to keep track. I often found myself going back to the character list just to remember it all.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.
Faith's Tears revisits characters we met in an earlier book. Axel and Faith met in high school. When the Grave Runners shoot Axel, he pushes Faith away to keep her safe. Now few years later and they are back seeking revenge.
The action and twists in the story kept me interested until the end. I wanted to see more substance but felt it ended happily but lamely. Axel and Faith make a great couple and can get ste@my. We have the rest of the MC, along with Devil's Riot MC helping to protect Faith and get to the bottom of the trouble. Overall worth the read.
Faith's Tears is the twelfth book in the Inferno's Clutch MC series. Although this book can be read alone without any difficulty, because the most pertinent information is revealed throughout the story, it is recommended to read the entire series in order to get everything right.
This book explains the story of this couple from the moment they met until today, covering all the key moments that had repercussions on the decisions they both made for their lives.
In this book appear several personages that are known throughout the series and are involved in the life of this couple, including the return to the house of Rico DeVere, the father of Axel who was imprisoned.

Alex messed up after was attacked and made it so Faith was pushed away even though he was doing it with the intentions of keeping her safe. I felt his guilt for pushing Faith away years ago and his actions while they were separated and he continues to try to make things right. I was so glad that she finally let have Axel have it in this book - truly expressing the pain she felt when he split them up. I truly felt both of their fears of losing each other - and I really loved that they both didn't want to be without the other. No matter what was thrown their way, Axel and Faith didn't allow anything to come between them and it makes for an amazing story.
Faith and Axel have had a long history with being each other’s soulmates until the day that Axel had a life altering incident in which he pushed Faith away…along with someone else he knew nothing about. Now that they are back together their past comes back to haunt them yet again putting Faith’s life on the line.
Axel doesn’t ever want to see the tears in his woman’s eyes again so he will do whatever it takes to keep her and their family safe. Just how far will Axel have to go to make this happen?
This was full of drama, love, and perseverance and showed how far a man would go to protect those he loved.
I thought I’d have more problems with this book than I did, Axel was so very wrong in what he did to Faith, made worse by the fact that while she remained faithful he didn’t. BUT though she forgave him, she’s never forgotten it and I like that, it makes it a lot more realistic. What saved this book for me was Axel‘s unwavering devotion to Faith, his constant reassuring her verbally and physically of his deep love for her, even while he suffered with a soul deep guilt for his mistakes. Mistakes that were made out of a desperation and love. So yes, a few triggers but very very beautifully worked through.
This is book twelve and it was a good one for Axel and Faith. The first couple of chapters are glimpses of the history of these two from high school. Then we head into the present where Axel has come to his senses and decided to go for Faith and his surprise son Alec. There is some villains targeting Axel and Faith. Poor Fuse and Lyrica are struggling with fertility problems whilst the other old ladies are getting pregnant. The whybe revealed at the end of the book but these villains were determined, and played the long game. Read On!
This is a continuation of Faith and Axel's story, see Axel's Promise ICMC #4. It revisits the beginning of their story but then skips over what happens in Axel's Promise and then picks back up and continues. Faith and Axel are finding their happiness and their new normal when old enemies show back up. Things get dangerous, Axel gets protective, Faith gets mad and in between there is a whole lotta steam. Quick read that has a ton of action and loads of steam.

Faith and Axel’s story simply stole my heart! These two have been through so much. Fate seems to give them a second chance then just as you get ready to say awww...yes!! Destiny comes a calling and trouble comes right to the front door knocking!!! Dayum! What will happen next? Does love or responsibilities conquer all? Is the truth what you see or is gut instinct the way to go? Only way to find out is to read this book! It is worth it! Had me on the edge of my seat! Faith and Axel’s story will take you on the ride you won't forget!
This book literally kept me on the edge of my seat, a seat I did not get up from until I read the last word. Faith and Axel were meant for each other." This one is a real nail biter of a read...full of action, adventure, intrigue and mystery. I loved they way they came together so smoothly. The scenes are so graphic and vivid it's easy to picture each scenario as it plays off one another beautifully. E. C. Land did an excellent job bringing these stories to life flawlessly.

Glad that there was alittle over view from their past as you get to see how much heartache Axel felt when he thought he was doing the right thing by letting Faith go. The struggles these two go through aswell as trusting that Axel has her safety at heart could have prevented some of the things that happened. I love that Axel's father was able to make them both communicate so that their issues couldn't get out of hand. I don't think either of them or the club could have seen just how crazy some people are and the lengths they will go to to get what they think is theirs.
If you have read any of the 'Inferno Clutch MC' stories then you know "Faith's Tears" is going to be a page turner. Axel and Faith have been a couple for years and are married, but for a reason unknown to Faith, Axel is pushing her away. Readers will enjoy their story as it is filled with suspense, action, and drama when an old enemy reappears. And let's not forget the love and romance that we as readers look forward to. **I was gifted "Faith's Tears" via Booksprout, leaving my review based on my reading.** 4.5 Stars!
I love Faith and Axel. There is so much love between the two of them that when je sent jer away you can tell it hurt them. To have their past come back to try and tear their future apart was devastating. However with the help of the club and the original crew along with his PA they got what needed to be done axlccomplished and came out ahead in the game of life with a miracle of their own. Great story with wonderful characters. This book will not dissappoint.

Currently reading: So far do not care much the way the book jumps around. Maybe it will back track to find out what happened in the time they were apart. Apparently since is this #12 it must intermingle with other books and the background is ther.
They have enemies on her bday he gets shot. Then when he comes home he kicks her out. Not knowing she is pregnant. Then it has him getting drunk and having sex with ow. FF 5 yrs later they are back together and he has 2 kids, the one Faith had on her and another one.

A fantastic read with a constant flow of the story. Although in the beginning it jumps a few months or years through the story. Faith has really had a hard row to tow. Jealous women, Axel doing what he thinks is right, but only makes things worse. Plenty of action, suspense, danger and surprises. Excellent read. Axel and Faith finally have everything they could possibly want. They're happier than they've ever been, they're growing their family and Rico is home. They've survived what for them was the worst and are on the path to healing and happiness. But, outside influences are making trouble in a huge way and they may not bounce back from this round. This story is a bit emotional, it's also got plenty of excitement, chaos and a couple of surprises.
With everything they have been through since they were kids it seems unreal they finally got it all! Family, friends and a life together. But just when the sunshine and rainbows appear a threat from the past rears it’s ugly head. Can Axel keep everyone whole this time around or will mistakes from the past kill the future!.
