Today I was in a great intensive meditation course where the theme was "Who am I?"
The question can be answered from different philosophical systems: for a Catholic I am someone who needs to be saved by the son of God, for a Buddhist when I know the reality I will realize that there is nothing, for a Hindu I will realize that when I get to know me I will reach the being in depth, and I will realize that I am God.
The meditation sessions as always left me in an emotional state of peace, joy and desire to continue my personal growth.
But they also served as a reflection for the book recommended to me by my friend Josefina Cervera: "Ramtha: the blue book, birth, death and reincarnation".
Beyond the way Ramtha presents herself and gives her teaching, I think the most important thing is the effect that the teachings have on us. If they have positive effects and help us grow and be better, it is worthwhile to delve into them. If they serve to be manipulated and defend indefensible things (such as the pedophilia of some priests, living as kings while their flock is in poverty, etc.), then they are not very desirable.
The teachings of Ramtha are not new, the oldest texts of the Hindu religion (the Vedas) have almost all the concepts that they express in the book. Especially the mystic teachings of the Upanishads handle the main concept in which Ramtha's teaching is summarized: I am God.
Personally, when this is the case, I prefer to read and learn from the original sources and practice.
I will continue reading the books recommended by Josefina and I hope we can sit down and talk to you soon ....
