I love collections of romance stories! It’s a great way to find new authors too! Can’t wait to read them all!

One story I really enjoyed was Torment Me by Linzi Basset. I’m a huge lover of the Castle Sins series and was excited to find out there would be a story telling how it all came to be. In usual fashion, it’s not all about BDSM, it tells a story of mystery, espionage and lust and love. What a perfect mix! Hunter is the owner of a BDSM Club who helps to train men and women how to be the perfect submissive. When Hunter sees a particular woman, he is intrigued by her. She is beautiful and fiery! Lilith is a career woman with a soft side, but is she training to be a submissive or is there more to her story? The instant attraction they have for each other is smoldering and their chemistry is sizzling! As she embarks on her journey, will Hunter find out the truth? Will she be able to keep up the facade from him? I loved the push and pull between them and hoped they would end up together! I truly loved this story and the characters and everything about it! Now I want to reread the whole Castle Sins series again!!

Another story I absolutely loved was Teach Me by Kay Elle Parker. As a huge lover of the Avalon Series I couldn’t wait to read Zeke’s story. He’s the newest member of the Club and the most intriguing to me. This story brings him into a whole new light for me. He went thru hell and back all with the help of a young woman named Olivia. While they both developed feelings for each other, due to the circumstances they didn’t act on it. One day Olivia had to leave and left a distressed Zeke. But when she came back, could he forgive her? Did he even know the reasons she had to leave? This story takes you on their incredible journey. Zeke shows Olivia her true side and how he will always protect and defend her. Olivia is such a breath of fresh air and Zeke is just so perfect for her. I love her so much that I just wanted to reach thru the pages and hug her! These two just blew me away. I thank this author for bringing Zeke & Olivia into my life!

Review of Take me by Harper Cross

This story is the ending of the series, and I must say it’s a good conclusion.

I haven’t read all the previous books, but I got enough details about the characters and the backstories that I wasn’t too confused about who was who and what they do or did. It worked well as a standalone.

In my opinion, Ashlee and TJ’s relationship was more lust than love, and we don’t see much of them together after the initial attraction–barely any moment when they connect beyond the physical. But once you accept that there might be more, it’s actually a cute couple, and the situation they’re in becomes interesting.

We see Ashlee struggling with her past trauma, needing answers and closure, and TJ is just the right person to give them to her. But his decisions conflict with his position as HEAT’s leader. Both aspects added a little flesh to the characters.

My favorite aspect of the couple? They’re equal. All the way. You’ll see what I mean when you read it.

The spy plot was riveting. It was nice to see again the team working as a whole, each member a cog in a well oiled machine. Except TJ’s feelings for Ashlee is the grain of sand that risks everything.

Sometimes, it felt rushed, but as it is a condensed version of a story, it’s understandable.

This review is for Taunt Me by Charmaine Louise Shelton. Luc lost both his wife and son in childbirth. Devastated he swore to never love again. Blair, the daughter of Luc's best friend has loved Luc as long as she can remember and was devastated when he married but was sad for him when he lost his wife and child. Seven years later she wants desperately to be with Luc and engage in DD/lg with him. While in New York she goes to a club hoping to learn more about it when she meets Luc there. From that moment on Blair's hopes start to come true but they have to keep the relationship a secret. When her father finds out can their relationship survive especially when they are snapped coming out of a club and it is plastered all over the tabloids. This is a beautiful tale of second chances combined with a hot and very steamy love affair that will keep you turning the pages from beginning to end.

I read thank me from the tease me anthology. I really enjoyed the novel and the story line was spot on with just the right amount of spice. The characters chemistry was off the charts. I truly recommend this book and would read more by the author.

I had the opportunity to read Taunt Me by Charmaine Louise Shelton and if you have read the Steele series of books, you know Luc and Blair. I loved finally seeing their love story unfold in it's entirety and not just glimpses. OMG, Luc...talk about expect the unexpected. You feel a wide range of emotions throughout this book because there's an age-gap, love after loss, best friends daughter, and she's had a thing for him since she was a teenager. The forbidden element is there, but it's a great addition to the stories completion. I forgot that this was a DD/lg book because it wasn't OTT, it was done in a manner that there was the bdsm element without the overt DD/lg feel that some books with this micro trope have done.

Blaire and Luc are absolutely perfect for one another. She understands his grief and his desires and is willing to share in both. She wants to be the one to captivate him and love him. He wants all of her, but wants to keep his friendship with her father in tact, however he'll love her no matter what. This was/is one of my favorite CLS books and I can't wait to see more of these two.

Review for Taint Me by Devi Duarta 🐍

A hot stepbrother romance 🔥

Dita takes up a housekeeping role in her brand new stepbrothers' house. She's desperate, in between jobs as a dancer.

This story is refreshing. Yes, there's a lot of step brother romance stories out there where they start off on the wrong foot. But hear me out- the characters sell it for me. Distinct twins brothers who are stark different? Check. Passionate h who isn't all about getting on that D from the get go? Check. Caring step dad? Check.

The characters each forged their own path in the book. They were flawed and on the mend. There's so much growth at the end it. It was a gradual development and meaningful.

I loved the bond between Orion and Dita. All the characters had chemistry between them, maybe not all of love but even in hate and resentment, you can feel the connection. Dita is caught in a hard place between Ares' one sided war against his father. To hurt him for his childhood trauma.

Ares and Dita's passion for each other was awe consuming. Spice level:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Ares has one dirty mouth on him that will make you blush to your hairline. Actually it's the Volt men in general.

The ending was non traditional and the epilogue of the story was satisfactory. Devi's writing is something I will be looking forward to reading more of this year. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read about such memorable characters, who's pain is very real and their love gives me hope.

5 🌟

* This review is for Try Me by CM Haines. I received an ARC from the author and I'm giving my honest review. *

Charlotte (Charlie), Vi, Aaron and Aiden have always been best friends. When Charlie and Aaron started dating in high school the group dynamic changed, but they all remained friends. Eight years later Charlie is left by the altar by Aaron, without explanation, and her world shatters. She turns to Aiden, Aaron's older brother, because he always makes her feel better. When Vi persuades Charlie to start dating they force Aiden to help. To him it's pure torture, but he can never say no to Charlie. He's been in love with her for as long he can remember...

This author is so good at creating wonderful and memorable characters! I want to befriend all of them and spend as much time as possible with them! Which gets a bit tricky when you've received an ARC and have a deadline... Of course I want to have my review up for release day, but at the same time I want to spend more time with the characters!

We get Charlie's and Aiden's perspective, as they're our main characters. Besides Aaron and Vi, who both play a significant role, there are several side characters who I fall in love with. I'm overjoyed to learn that Haines will be writing books about some of them as well! But focusing on this book I think that Haines managed to describe the dynamics of a friends group, and how it can be both good and bad being as tight as they are. A slight disorder can change everything, while at the same time it's a big comfort.

I'm a bit bothered by Charlie often doing what her friends (read: Vi) tells her, even though she doesn't want to. The book also feels slightly too long, with some unnecessary dissipations, but since I enjoy being in their company I really don't mind, and it doesn't have an impact on my overall impression.

Want to finish up by saying that the book contains some detailed sex scenes, but too me it still feels like a sweet romance. Not too steamy, and if you prefer clean romance you can always skip those scenes!

This box set contains over 25 full size novels by different authors. I read the story Taunt me by Charmaine Louise Shelton. This is an age gap and falling for father's best friend story. Luc and Blair's dad were best friends and Blair has had a crush on him since she became a teenager. She was heartbroken when he got married and avoided him. When his wife and child died in child birth, het heart ached for him. Now she is all grown up and she works as an assistant in a fashion business. Her boss was mentored by Luc and he is an investor. She can't get her fantasies out of her mind of him being her Daddy and their starting a family together. So far she has been fortunate enough to keep her distance from him but that all changes with the business deal of a lifetime.

Luc thought his life was over when he lost his wife and child. His wife was his perfect match. She was submissive and a Little. With her gone, it felt like that part of his life was over. Then he saw his best friend's daughter all grown up. She brings back feelings that he had thought had died a long time ago. Luc knows that if he acts on his feelings for Blair, it could destroy the friendship he has with her father. However she is the only sunshine in his life and he doesn't want to lose her.

Book Taint Me was gifted by the author. My review is voluntary .

Ares and Cary have a very strained relationship.
Cary loves his sons and knows he’s not been the best father. Ares wants his father to feel the pain he has throughout the years.
The perfect chance comes along in Dita. His new stepsis.

Dita, a dance instructor, moves into the Volt mansion ahead of her mothers marriage to Cary's.
Due to an incident, she is between jobs. Being a proud person, she asks to be the house cleaner for her two stepbrothers, Ares and Rio.

Dita has such a lovely demeanour. She’s not judgemental, not even to Ares when he’s such an ass to her.
Unbeknownst to her, she's now became the pawn in Ares' one-sided war against his father.

I wouldnt say Ares is a man whore but he is an a*hole with one dirty mouth on him.

This story revolves mainly around Ares and Dita, but we also have Rio, Misha and Steph who are a solid presence, and i do hope they get their own story.

There’s so much character growth throughout the book and it was a pleasure to read.

Only thing to let this down were the editing issues. I’ve read so many books that editing doesn’t normally bother me unless I have to re-read lines in order to understand them.

Treasure Me by Victoria Liiv
This was Amber and Adrian’s story.
She was in a plane wreck and wanted to learn how to survive past the wreck.
Adrian wanted to help her.
And then she wanted more from him.
Good book with all he feels!

Thank Me by Serena James Chase
I always enjoy Serena’s books.
I enjoyed the relationship and the buildup between the two main characters and how they had a start, they were separated, then tout of nowhere, she’s back!
What happens when he believes he can have it all in rebuilding his life?
Loved so many books of this anthology; definitely in my top 3 of all the books in the set.

Train me by Reese Spencer
This book had some intense moments, and lots of situations that could need TWs. It was intense but finally everything was brought out in the end with why the hero was how he was and there was an HEA. YAY! I love those!

Teach Me by Kay Elle Parker
I've read all the books in Club Avalon (including Evander!) so i had to read Zeke.
I. Was. Not. Disappointed!!!!!
I love this series and was so glad he was written and given this story.

Taunt Me: Charmaine Louise Shelton

Blair and Luc are true soulmates in this beautifully opulent tale from Charmaine. Blair has loved Luc for years even though he’s much older than her. She desires a Daddy and he is her silver fox. Luc is best friends with Blair’s father so any relationship would be taboo amongst her family.
Together they are intensely connected and their sexual relationship is a lesson in debauchery. Whether at home or the sex club her craving and his predilections are well matched in decadence.

Charmaine has written a beautiful love story with a dialogue and settings that are full of caring characters, respect, and consensual adult behavior. He’s hot, she’s gorgeous, and they are emotionally mature enough to have a forever relationship.

Target me by T.L Hamilton. Speechless, mind blowing, on the edge of my seat heart beating so freaking fast . Those are only a few things I felt from the moment I sat down and started Target me . T.L Hamiltons unforgettable and unputdownable addition to the Tease me anthology . A military / stalker romance that’s filled with dark , raw , gritty and emotionally charged moments. Intrigue, non stop action, wonderfully written characters, steamy moments, heartbreaking and heartfelt ones as well . It’s the type of story that absolutely going to grab onto all your emotions and pull at your heartstrings in ways you certainly will not be expecting. Truth is there are no perfect words to express how truly phenomenal this story was or what a awesome job T.L did writing it . You simply need to pick it up and read it for yourself. I promise you will not be disappointed

I was lucky enough to read two of the stories in this anthology. The above star rating is an average of these two stories.

This review is specific to Teach Me - A Club Avalon Novel by Kay Elle Parker - 5 Stars

This story of Zeke and Livvy is the final story in the Avalon series and one of the best. Three years ago Zeke was injured in the bombing of Avalon and although initially strangers, Olivia say by his bed for a year as he recovered, only to disappear with no word for the next two years. The usual misunderstandings and refusal to communicate account for most of their issues, but once that's resolved, the D/s relationship that begins to develop was beautiful. Olivia's situation literally had me in tears and even I wanted to wrap her in my arms to comfort her. Once over his hurt feelings, Zeke was a considerate and loving Dom and was more than willing to teach Olivia all she could desire. These two seem like an unlikely couple due to the age-gap, but truly they fulfill each other.

I received a copy of this book from the author and I'm voluntarily leaving this honest, unbiased review.

This review is specific to Train Me by Reese Spenser - 3 1/2 stars

I wanted to like this book more, but it was just okay, not great. The premise is good, a young woman who has been protected her whole life, Sienna literally stumbles into meeting Roman, who will become her new Dom. He's a sadist and he continues to test her limits in many smexy ways. There are many past traumas and secrets and these two have to learn to trust one another. My issue with the book was that the language (both descriptive and narrative) seemed stilted at times, which brought me out of the story. I would definitely try another story by this author however.

Take Me by Harper Cross
Gobsmacked. That’s the only word for my reaction at the end of this book. It’s a twisty cat and mouse game with huge implications for the future of the series. (Please tell me it isn’t really the end. Please?) It kept me glued to the pages. I couldn’t read this fast enough in order to find out what would happen next. Ashlee is fragile yet fierce; determined to learn what really happened to her, putting her on a collision course with our favorite HEAT team leader. I’ve been a little desperate to find out what TJ’s Forever would look like since the beginning of the series, but I have to admit, this was nowhere on my radar. I loved this book so much and now I’m more than a little desperate to get my hands on whatever’s coming next.

Tease me is an amazing story about deception, heartach and loss. Logan was asked to protect avery from a stalker. Avery wanting her independence decide she wasnt going to make it easy on Logan. The attraction between them was heating up and Avery was making it very hard for Logan to resit. Loved all the heated scenes and the suspence a definite page turner. A must read.

I read Test Me from this collection and loved this forbidden romance/brothers best friend trope. After leaving the military Teddy returns to University where he discovers his best friend’s younger sister Mia is his professor. There is plenty of drama and chemistry to have this fast paced story captivating.

This is a great collection of books by a solid variety of authors. Several of my favorite authors featured are Zee Irwin, Brittany Bell, and Reese Spenser. All these books are full of well written characters, sizzle, steam, some drama, twists, turns, and more. All great reads and well worth the $$.

This is a review for taunt me

Luc loses his wife during child birth (and his baby too). Because of this he refuses the idea of love. Years pass and he can't deny the attraction he has for Blair. Blair has been in love with her dad's best friend for years (Luc). One night they both appear at the same club...
Highly recommend this steamy book!.

Okay. I did the overall rating by adding up the star rating I did for each book and divide by the amount. There were a few really good books in here that I really enjoyed but for the majority of it, I really didn't like them. I wrote a review for each book though. A lot has spoilers too - so don't read if you don't want to spoil these books.

Elise Knight - Trick Me 4 star
In this we learn that the FMC is not who she claims to be. One of the things I didn't get was in the beginning she was hiding in the house and she heard Josh coming through the house. HOW did she know his voice? She said she knew his footsteps and his voice anywhere - but yet, she never actually met him - she was locked away her whole life and never even been outside. This is a RH. It has darker themes so read the trigger warnings listed for this. I felt so bad for Lucinda. She went through so much and lost Josh now he's in love with Lauren. I already know in the next book he's not going to choose Lucy, he's going to stick with Lauren. That was a huge twist finding out who the FMC actually was. They both had a hard life and I'm honestly excited about book 2, it was a really good read

Lizzi Stone - Tempt Me 2 star
This was kinda drawn out a bit. There was a lot of grammar issues and incorrectly written sentences. It took forever to get to the point . The FMC kept putting herself down down and pushing him away. MMC didn't try to be with her yet they fell in love? It didn't make sense. The story wasn't spicy. It just wasn't for me.

Susan Straditto - Throttle Me 3 star
I don't remember seeing trigger warnings for this one. The main trigger in this story is rape. The writing wasn't my favorite but the story was okay. They had some interactions I didn't care for.

Scarlett Finn - Tantalize Me 2 star
I honestly can't stand 3rd person. The third person telling in this was horrible. You couldn't tell who was actually talking. Then there was a big ol nothing whopper in it. Xander's friend's had showed up for the FMC while he was away and none of the stuff provided anything to the story and it didn't make sense. It was hard to keep up with who was saying what when all were women and it was 'she said this' and then 'she said that' - which 'SHE' are you talking about there are 4?!? lol It was boring and lasted forever and really didn't have anything to do with the book and had no point. It could've been cut short and still been meaningful and good but that whole section was bad imo. Like the convo with 'cassanova' on the phone while in the car. That lasted FOREVER and really didn't bring anything to the story. It was dumb and forced. a play by play was not needed but was given. The FMC talked Soooooooo much. SHE made the conclusion HE was gay. HE never mentioned being gay and she never questioned him or asked anything about him and his partner, so she really had no reason to be mad at him. She took it out on him but he never lied. Yeah when he found out he should've said something, but he was afraid of losing her. She was so dense.

Zee Irwin + Britney Bell - Test Me 1 star
From the beginning I knew I wasn't going to like this one. I didn't like the writing style at all. Just like actors and actress have A list and B list - This story was definitely a F list. I couldn't get into it
I tried and I read the story but It wasn't holding any interest because of how it was written

Devi Duarta - Taint Me 4 star
I liked this one. Although in the beginning Cary's chapter threw me off for a bit and I thought it was a girl's POV lol but, I figured it out and once I actually started, I really liked it. In the beginning they mention the boys signing - but they don't really explain what they mean by that until later it comes to light the boys had to sign a contract. Other than that the story was written really well and I was totally into it.

Harper Cross - Take Me4star
This was another good one. The writing and the story was really good <3

Amy Cecil + Jade Royal - Tame Me1 star
There is no indication who is telling the story. Chapter 1 was a guy, IDK who. Chapter 2 seemed to be a different guy, FMC dad maybe? Chapter 3 was someone else and you can't tell who it is until halfway through. I didn't care for the story but the writing was bad. Okay so this one thing really irked me. She said that only Susie knew her real name (since she was using a different name) Then when Ice gets her name she said not even Susie knew her name. like whaat. hold up. There was inconsistencies like that. I ended up skipping halfway through because I just couldn't read it.

Tracy Broemmer - Taste Me 2 star
ugh - another crappy 3rd person telling. whhhhhyyy :( I can already tell by the 2nd Chapter I didn't like how it was written and the story sucked. By the time I finished it I realized it wasn't too bad. I've definitely read worse. But it wasn't super great either. The FMC issues revolving around her drug addict sister I get and her experience with ONE guy while still trying to support her sister shouldn't be enough to act the way she did. I thought someone was after her or she had a really bad ex or something - but nope... she was acting like that because her sister COULD call for money at random times or end up in the hospital. Which I get, it was her shit to deal with, but the running around - moving new places all the time made it sound like something it wasn't.

Charmaine Louise Shelton - Taunt Me3 star
I've read some work by this author before. Not my favorite but this story was decent. I just really don't like the author's writing style. Its too fake and cheesy. She got jealous for no reason acting crazy every time he talked to a woman. idk it was azy-cray

Julia Ash - Tie Me3 star
so many inconsistencies in this story. First she says she owns 48% of the company then later she owns 49% of the company. Idk why I got stuck on that lol. but there was more than just that. Second, blurb said its a RH. While being attracted to 4 guys she was only ever with and in a relationship with the 1 guy. That's NOT a RH. Maybe b2 will add another but this one is not classified as a RH. I actually liked this story a bit. It had great potential.

Maggie Adams - Tickle Me1 star
Another one I didn't care for the writing. Their interactions were super cheesy. Not just the MC interactions. It was any character talking to another character was just not realistic or good.

Linzi Basset - Torment Me1 star
This was hard to read. Not because of the content, but because of how its written. When things aren't written in a believable way it makes it hard for me to like and read. I also didn't think this represented that lifestyle really well either. I know a lot of books don't really explain the lifestyle that well and a lot of stuff is fictionalized, but I really didn't like how it was represented in this. IDK.

Susie McIver - Touch Me1 star
No rapport with the characters. They meet > kiss > in love. Then separated by 8 years and no reaction. Just pick up where they left off? I couldn't really sit there and read it word for word but I started skim reading to where I only read the important parts. There are random chapters at the end from Mace. I didn't read those cause I just didn't get why those random chapters from someone who is not the MC

Reese Spenser - Train Me3 star
This wasn't too bad. There were parts where I was just like 'really?' but the story was actually okay.
I didn't like the part where she was wanting more from him than just being her Dom and she calls her cousin to talk about him and the cousin was talking about him being her Dom but she was wanting a husband then a Dom in the bed. But the way her cousin said it was like he would be her Dom in life and she would just be in a loveless marriage. She agreed to it so I guess she doesn't want a husband? She's just his pet.

Victoria Liv - Treasure Me2 star
OMG. This was written as a play by play. literally step by step of daily life. Monday she wakes up at 3 am from her nightmare plays music and scrolls through twitter until 6. She shits, shower, and shaves and gets ready. It's literally this the whole time. It was so boring to read. Then The author ends the story when she FINALLY asks him what happened both times she left. He FINALLY says okay to answering her but WE don't get that answer. What happened with his girlfriend that he was with when he was in love with her? I mean who tf does that? I wanted to know too! It was kind of crazy her admitting she loves him. She didn't know him. He helped her feel better and get on with her life, of course she would feel some type of way towards him. There was nothing between them except physical attraction on her end and him helping her. It was boring but I had hoped to get more from the MMC though it never comes. And there was no spice to it either.

Serena James Chase - Thank me3 star
I liked the story but the writing and editing was bad. The story had a lot of potential. We never found out Lachlin's secret either. It was a big thing mentioned quite a bit but it never got told. UGH. Still wasn't that bad.

Leanora Cowan - Trust Me1 star
Omg. There was SOOOO many '!'. Anytime I read a sentence that ends in '!' I read it as excitement. But they were used so much in this story that basically everything they said I read as like a little kid being excited over a new puppy. It wasn't right. Plus there was a lot of repetitive things. The author only had 1 way to express something then used that way over and over with no creative changes. just keep saying the same things. Like okay, we get it. Its like the rough, unedited, draft version was submitted for this story. No world building or story.

At first I didn't think I would like this story because of all the others were letting me down and I was ready to be done with this anthology. But I absolutely LOVED this story. The story and writing was so good. Easy to connect with the characters. I didn't care for the FMC at first but by the end, I loved her. She grows on you. :) Jakeass now he made me mad. But he's a great guy. Its crazy how everything worked out for them and Patty ended up being a decent person. I think its crazy though how everyone ended up in the same place. Especially because they said her ex Mike was Army and Luke was Army Reserve and her dad too. I really enjoyed this.

This was another really good one. :) I LOVED this story as well. I knew her father was a shit but I really didn't expect the person after her to be Damon. At the end I figured it out, but by then it was too late - it was already pointing towards him. lol. The writing and the story was so good.

WOW. I skimmed a lot of it because it was just moving REALLY slow. But that was crazy.. It was well written except for the fact that it was really slow. The lost out on so much. Eventually the truth came out though. I couldn't stand the suspense of them dancing around the truth while she went on dates and everything - so I skipped a bit ;) I thought there would be a time skip or something like the stuff at the wedding happens then a little stuff of her learning to heal then a skip to 1 year later or something. But no, it starts at the wedding and continues from there.

So it bothered me in the story how they don't call their significant other wives. Its Dom and subbie. Its like that's all they are to them and it extends to daily life not just the bedroom. I would hate to be in a relationship like that. I would rather have an equal in life and the Dom in the bedroom. Yeah he was taking care of her, but he expected her to listen to him regardless of what she wanted. I didn't like this representation of Sub/Dom. The story was okay
I was super questioning though - HOW would he fit in her ass? He already said that most women couldn't take him in the vagina - AND she is a virgin - or was - and he hurt her from taking it easy... so PLEASE tell me how that would've worked lmao. Cause I don't think he's gonna fit there LMFAO.

That's all - I am really glad to be done with this. It was so long and I was getting tired of the mediocre books. I knew there were some good ones through out and I didn't want to just stop reading and miss out on those hidden gems in there.
:) I think I am good on the anthologies for now though.

This review is for Taunt Me by Charmaine Louise Shelton Luc has lived through the terrible loss of his wife and newborn son. He hasn’t been living since but, the daughter of his best friend catches his eye, Blair. She has always loved Luc from afar but, never thought that he would want her. The feelings of loss were beautifully written. You almost wept with Luc. The relationship between Luc and Blair is almost bittersweet until they commit. This is a very well written story that captivates from the first page.

So Many Good Authors Here!!

***** Teach Me - Kay Elle Parker *******

A new beginning for the Avalon crew. Total destruction and loss of life three years ago. Zeke barely survived, but the angel who sat by his side in the hospital disappeared with no notice.

Now a new building is opening, and Olivia is back. Explanations and fresh starts all around. If you have read any of the Avalon stories you will see familiar faces and thoroughly enjoy this new chapter in their story.

Torment Me - Linzi Basset

Castle Sin is my favourite series from Linzi Bassett and so Torment Me was a wonderful surprise and I loved it just as I did the original series. It had some really hot BDSM scenes, intrigue and mystery, great characters and a great happy ending. A wonderful addition to the series and a great read.

Teach Me - Kay Elle Parker

What a lovely story full of hope for the future even given the terrible things that happened to the Masters and their subs from Club Avalon. Olivia was so brave even though she is socially shy. Atticus was so good to her and Alicia made me smile. Seeing the new club gave every character a reason to smile and the introduction of a new character also gives hope that this is not the last we have seen of everyone. The addition of the children and the father’s descriptions of their personalities was funny and a sharp contrast to the feelings of sadness recalling the bombing. I am not sure how to describe Tabitha, she was so different but also appealing in a strange way, I hope she appears in future stories.
A great read and a great addition to the anthology.

Test Me is a second chance, best friends little sister romance. Teddy and Mia are back in each others lives after 10 years and the attraction that they had as teenagers is still there the only problem is she’s his teacher. This story has a few twists and turns and a stalker. I enjoy this book and would definitely recommend.

•Test Me by Zee Irwin and Britney Bell:
I loved this book! I have yet to read a book by either Zee Irwin or Britney Bell that I haven’t loved. This story was told in first person POV by both the MMC and MFC. This is a second chance, friends-to-lovers, forbidden love story that will have you on the edge of your seat soaking up all the sexual chemistry, smut and drama!

I loved how Teddy has always been Mia’s protector from a young age. Years apart and thrown back together, they can’t act on their feelings. I love that they were so sneaky about their relationship, but also not so sneaky. I love that regardless of the situation, Teddy was still determined to protect Mia.

•Train Me by Reese Spenser:
There is definitely some trigger warnings for this story. This story is told in first person POV by the MMC and the MFC. This story had me fascinated and intrigued from the mention of the mysterious amber eyes.

I loved Sienna and Roman so much. They both had a difficult past, but they both also became something better because of what they endured. I love that they had a history only one of them remembered. I loved that they both learned who their true selves were with each other. This is the first time I’ve read anything by this author, but it won’t be the last!

•Thank Me by Serena James Chase:
This story is told in first person POV by both the MMC and MFC. I’m a sucker for a second chance romance and this story is just that! It is full of heat, drama, secrets and chemistry you can’t get enough of!

I loved Graham and Willa! I also loved the side characters and all the banter. I loved when their paths realigned and how all the old feelings came back to the surface. I loved that after all those years, Graham still wanted to protect Willa. I was most definitely not expecting the truth that came near the end! I can’t wait to see what their next adventure will bring them and how things pan out for Willa’s team.

•Taste Me by Tracy Broomer:
This story is told in third person POV and will have you on the edge of your seat. There are some trigger warnings. This book is full of family love and loyalty, laugh out loud banter, chemistry steamy enough to set you on fire.

I love Charlie and Tatum. I love that no matter what, Charlie is determined to break down Tatum’s walls. I love that Tatum finally found her place and people that accept her and that she was finally able to help those she loves the way she has always dreamed of.

I cannot wait to see what else the Murphy’s family brings us. Although I prefer a First Person POV story, I have loved all of Tracy’s books! I’m so excited to read more from her!

I received a free copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.

•Take Me by Harper Cross:
This was a great story told in dual first person POVs. I loved the determination from Ashlee and TJ both. I enjoyed the side characters and how they really helped to bring this story together. I can’t wait to read more of this series that Harper is creating for the HEAT team!

I read Test Me as part of the Tease Me Collection.

Teddy has just returned home after 10 years as a Navy Seal and has enrolled at the local college for some classes. When he enters his English class, he finds Mia, his childhood friend, sister of his best friend, and now his professor. There is some history there, and the two spend time catching up outside of class. Teddy asks Mia to tutor him, and the sparks between them from years ago flame. There are roadblocks to their growing relationship, namely the professor/student conflict to hide, as well as a campus stalker for Mia to complicate matters and test what the outcome will be.
Likable characters to care about, a realistic problem with attraction between teacher and student, and complications with family expectations. A fairly quick, interesting read.

Taunt Me
This is one story in the Tease Me Romance collection.

Luc is a Duke, a fifty-year old Silver Fox, head of a worldwide banking empire, as well as a widower having lost his wife and son in childbirth 7 years ago. He is attracted to Blaire, but has never acted on his interest. He is also a Daddy Dom, but without a little girl in his life.

Blaire is the daughter of his best friend, seventeen years Luc’s junior, and she has been in love with him for years, keeping her feelings tightly under wraps while yearning to relieve the sadness she sees in him.

When Luc and Blaire are thrown together in a work environment, and then meet at a BDSM club one night, their attraction and passions flare, and a relationship is begun, one which must be kept secret from her family. The book tracks the development of their relationship, both romantically and in a Daddy/ little girl dynamic on its way to a HEA, but not without bumps along the way.

Characters are well developed and interesting with many explicit sex scenes. Not a very long read.
