I have to say after that last minute plot twist being thrown into Tainted Truths I was left with my head wondering....what the heck b/c then the epilogue jumped ahead six years. That's ok though because I saw there was this little novella and it did not go the way I thought at all.
I honestly went back and forth from liking Erika to hating Erika and so on and so forth. I definitely still don't like Tim...he has issues and I blame a lot of that on his parents, but I digress. Erika was dealt a bad hand four years earlier and has had to suffer emotionally when she shouldn't have been. Her one constant in her life besides her bestie Monica was Hero, her friend with benefits that just so happened to be so very much in love with her.
I wish there would have been more Hero and Erika in this book than Tim and Erika. I would love to know more about their earlier story.

Great Book! Loved all the characters! They were all super relatable, it was fun with cheeky banter, sarcasm, and Oh the Drama! The seggsy scenes were on point and the plot twist... did not see that coming! Can't wait to read the other books in the series!

This is a novella following Tim (Becca from book 1’s fiancé) and Erica (the nurse he cheated on Becca with). I was very skeptical going into this one. There is no redeeming Tim - he was a jerk. I won’t even touch on that he cheated on Becca, but the way he treated her? He was controlling and aggressive. The author did a great job of writing him. And seriously she surprised me again SPOLER ALERT: Where did the love triangle come from? I loved it! The whole book I was rooting for Hero to get the girl. But with it being duel POV of Tim and Erica I just assumed they were getting a HEA together. WRONG. This was a perfect follow up to Tainted Trust. Tim got what he deserved and Erica, while I didn’t love her in book 1, grew on me in this one. She does get a HEA.

I didn’t see the love triangle coming
Spoiler alert- I wasn’t sure how the author was going to redeem Tim after book one. And even through this one he sucks. Hero is there all along and from the beginning I was like please pick him. This was a perfect follow up to Tainted Trust. Tim got what he deserved and Erica, while I didn’t love her in book 1, grew on me in this one.
